"What's going on!?"

The physician from Qihuang Temple had an extrely grim expression. He had just diagnosed Lu Guangyuan as perfectly healthy, yet in the blink of an eye, the man had vomited blood and collapsed!

This was a slap in the face! A blatant, resounding slap that made his cheeks burn! Damn it! What in the world is going on??

"Doctor Zheng! Doctor Zheng! What happened? Wasn't my husband perfectly healthy? Isn't that Qin Xuantian a quack?" Gao Xin frantically knelt, checking Lu Guangyuan's heartbeat and breathing, terrified that the worst had happened.

"You didn't misdiagnose him, did you?" Gao Xin blurted out in her panic.

This imdiately incensed the nearby disciples of Qihuang Temple.

"Insolence! You lowly herb gatherer from the foot of the mountain, how audacious of you to question Doctor Zheng! Who do you think you are?!"

"It is your imnse fortune to be treated by Qihuang Temple! Instead of being grateful, you dare question Doctor Zheng? This is biting the hand that feeds you!"

"Doctor Zheng is one of the nine great physicians of Qihuang Temple! His dical skills have reached the pinnacle, Transcendent and saintly, capable of reviving the dead and fleshing out bare bones! How could that damn Qin Xuantian even be worthy of comparison with Doctor Zheng?"

"Doctor Zheng's Martial Dao cultivation has also reached the peak of the Innate realm, making him one of the world's foremost powerhouses! You, a re herb gatherer, are nothing but an ant. How dare you question him? Are you courting death?!"

Several Qihuang Temple disciples glared at Gao Xin, their faces flushed with anger as they vehently rebuked her.

Clearly, Doctor Zheng held a very high status within Qihuang Temple, and these disciples wouldn't miss an opportunity to impress him.

If they could win his favor and beco his disciple, their future would be set.

"Doctor Zheng, no! That's not what I ant! I absolutely didn't an to doubt you! Absolutely not!" Gao Xin hurriedly knelt before Doctor Zheng, kowtowing in apology. "It's just that Qin Xuantian previously said my husband would die within three days, and now he's vomited blood again. I was overco with anxiety and spoke rashly!"

"This Qin Xuantian... is he just so youngster from the secular world who stumbled upon an ancient Martial Dao inheritance? And he knows dicine too?" Doctor Zheng glanced at Lu Guangyuan, who lay on the ground. "His vital energy and blood have suddenly weakened, and his spirit has waned. This is indeed abnormal, but he won't die just yet... Tang Bo!"

"Disciple is here!" Tang Bo stepped out from the group of disciples, a hint of excitent in his eyes. "Doctor Zheng, your disciple is here, awaiting your orders."

"Among these juniors, your dical skills are the best, and your cultivation is the highest." Doctor Zheng looked at him and said flatly, "Book two plane tickets. Accompany

to Tianhai. We'll see this Qin Xuantian's dical skills for ourselves."

"Yes! Your disciple obeys!!" Tang Bo was ecstatic, unable to hide the broad smile on his face. "That Qin Xuantian must be a charlatan quack! Compared to you, he's less than dirt! I bet when he sees you, he'll drop to his knees and beg for rcy! Haha!"

"Heh, just a small ant from the secular world. Why get so worked up?" Doctor Zheng chuckled softly. "Gao Xin, take your husband back to Tianhai as well. He won't die for now."

Although Doctor Zheng hadn't yet figured out why Lu Guangyuan had vomited blood and fainted, he was confident that with enough ti to study the case, he would undoubtedly find the cause.

Qihuang Temple was the progenitor of all dical arts in the world.

The source of all dical knowledge, the pinnacle of all dical achievents, resided here!

And he, Zheng Ming, was one of Qihuang Temple's nine great physicians, his dical skills supre. If even he couldn't quickly diagnose the issue, how could so piece of trash from the secular world possibly manage it?

That was absolutely impossible!

That Qin Xuantian was most likely just fear-mongering and swindling. Even if he happened to be right, it must have been a fluke.

Zheng Ming had absolute confidence.

He would utterly crush Qin Xuantian in dical skill, completely surpassing him!

Doctor Zheng stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his expression dark as he sneered inwardly, To think that Gao Xin dared to compare

to that half-baked Qin Xuantian just now—how utterly ridiculous! Qin Xuantian is nothing but trash from the secular world who stumbled upon so inheritance. How could he possibly compare to ? Qihuang Temple has remained hidden for far too long. It's ti the world witnessed anew the might of the progenitor of dicine!

「Tianhai, Qin Heng's villa.」

The sun was setting in the west, painting the clouds red; dusk was falling.

Yun Lingsu was still kneeling outside. She had been there for over three hours, her expression one of utmost sincerity.

Suddenly, a figure approached her side.

"Looks like soone else is here," Xia Shuang said, looking out the window. "Seems to be a handso young man, in his twenties, quite tall. He's wearing ancient-style clothes and carrying an unsheathed sword on his back—looks like he's an actor filming a movie!"

"Really??" Qin Yun imdiately tossed her Switch aside and ran to the window. "He really does! He looks like a swordsman straight out of a wuxia novel. He seems to know Sister Ling Su. Brother, aren't you going to do anything about him?"

"A re ant. Not worth our attention," Qin Heng said indifferently, without even lifting his eyelids.

anwhile, at the entrance of the villa estate.

Yun Lingsu knelt resolutely, without a single word of complaint.

One must bear the consequences of one's own choices.

She understood this principle.

She had thought long and hard last night. When she decided to return, she had already anticipated this situation; it was inevitable. She just hadn't expected soone to follow her.

"Junior Sister, what are you doing?"

The young man carrying a longsword approached Yun Lingsu. Seeing her kneeling, his face filled with indignation. "You are a genius disciple of our Divine Sword Sect! How can you kneel here?!"

"Senior Brother Bai, this is my own affair," Yun Lingsu said tonelessly.

This young man was her senior brother from the Divine Sword Sect, Bai Shufeng. At only twenty-eight, he was already an Innate Grandmaster and had even mastered the Divine Sword Sect's ancient Divine Skill, *The Nine Divine Swords Canon*.

He was exceedingly powerful and held a high status.

However, he often traveled abroad and was unaware of recent events in the country.

"Your affair? I just returned from abroad and happened to be passing through. I never expected to find you here, much less see you kneeling to re mortals!"

Bai Shufeng glanced at Qin Heng's villa, his gaze turning icy. "You are a disciple of the Divine Sword Sect! You are my, Bai Shufeng's, junior sister! Your status is intrinsically linked to ours. By kneeling to this family of common folk, you disgrace the Divine Sword Sect and , Bai Shufeng! How can this possibly be just your own affair?!"

"Senior Brother!" Yun Lingsu looked at Bai Shufeng and gently shook her head. "Senior Brother, you've been traveling abroad for years. You don't know how the Divine Sword Sect has treated ."

Over the past days, she had gone from hoping soone from the Divine Sword Sect would rescue her, to making excuses for them, and finally, to complete despair. She had lost all her forr respect and faith in the Divine Sword Sect.

"No matter how the sect treats you, it is still your sect! Even if the sect demands your life, you must give it! No matter when, where, or what happens, you must uphold the sect's honor!" Bai Shufeng, however, completely ignored Yun Lingsu's words, his eyes glinting with murderous intent as he snorted coldly. "For this family to receive your kowtow, thereby shaming both

and the sect—this is an unforgivable cri!!"

CLANG!!

A sword humd as the longsword was unsheathed, landing in Bai Shufeng's hand.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!!

Simultaneously, torrents of Sword Qi swept out like a gale, like countless blades hacking at the ground. In an instant, hundreds of sword marks scarred the earth, turning everything within a hundred-ter radius into utter ruin!

"What are you doing!?" Yun Lingsu cried out, staring at Bai Shufeng in horrified disbelief.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to kill this family!" Bai Shufeng sneered. "A bunch of worldly ants! Since they dared to receive a kowtow from a disciple of my Divine Sword Sect, they must pay the price!"

CLANG! CLANG!!

The longsword vibrated. With a blur of motion, Bai Shufeng, longsword in hand, appeared before the villa gates!!

The biting Sword Qi made the surrounding trees tremble.

"A bunch of ants!"

Bai Shufeng snorted again, his Sword Qi flaring even more intensely!!

"Die!!"
