"Qin Heng, I…"
Song Ningran was still sowhat shy. Her pretty face flushed crimson, almost as if it might bleed. She lowered her head, not daring to look at Qin Heng. She was shy to the extre, with a bit of fear in her heart, her body trembling slightly.
The experiences of this evening had completely turned her world upside down. If Qin Heng hadn't arrived in ti, she truly didn't know what would have happened. She didn't even dare to think about it. Thankfully, Qin Heng had arrived; thankfully, he had saved her.
To say it was a life-saving grace was by no ans an exaggeration.
Moreover, Song Ningran was already quite fond of Qin Heng. After so internal struggle, she decided to offer herself as a token of gratitude, to repay him for saving her life. She would give him the purest, most precious part of herself!
"Qin Heng…" Song Ningran's lips parted slightly. She took a step forward, wanting to get closer to Qin Heng.
But the mont she moved, she found herself unable to budge, unable to take even half a step forward. Then she saw Qin Heng stand up, take a jacket from the bed, and drape it over her.
"You??" Song Ningran was stunned; the Durex she had been holding in her mouth fell to the floor.
She looked at Qin Heng in disbelief. Her eyes were filled with confusion and shock; she had not expected Qin Heng to react this way.
Was this... rejection?
She was a bit stunned. Subconsciously, she looked down at her own perfect body—curvaceous, her skin smooth and fair—undoubtedly the kind any man would dream of.
It wasn't pride, but fact. But what is the situation now? He actually put clothes on ?? What does that an!!? How could this be??
In that instant, Song Ningran even felt a sense of profound existential doubt.
A stunning beauty.
She had steeled her resolve to offer herself as a gift to an eighteen-year-old young man. With all preparations made, she stood before him!
Yet, this young man remained impassive, his gaze steady, his deanor calm and unruffled, as he casually draped a jacket over the beauty!
Concealing the beautiful body that countless people dread of admiring!
What the hell! This... this... this!! What on earth is he thinking? What is going on!?
"Qin Heng…" Song Ningran bit her lip, looking at Qin Heng. She felt almost suffocated, her mind in chaos, utterly speechless. "You! You!!"
I feel like I'm going crazy!!
Since things have already reached this point, and I've already prepared for everything... Song Ningran thought, casting aside all her remaining reservations.
She roared, "Are you a eunuch!!?"
Then! She threw herself directly into Qin Heng's arms!
A sweet fragrance filled the air as the soft, jade-like woman fell into his embrace.
Qin Heng's expression remained calm. He had already closed his eyes. Sighing softly, he said, "What's the point?"
At the sa ti, his hand gently landed on Song Ningran's back, patting lightly, as a gesture of comfort.
"Why! Why is this!?" Song Ningran questioned, her small, cute fists pounding Qin Heng's chest. "Why aren't you moved at all? Not even a little bit!?"
Her thoughts were in utter chaos. Is he starting to dislike ? She even began to worry. She lifted her head, her sweet lips slightly parted, her breath like fragrant orchids, her seductive eyes like silk as she looked at Qin Heng, her gaze fixated on his eyes.
"I don't believe it! I can't believe you're not moved! I absolutely refuse to believe you weren't even a little bit moved!!" Song Ningran declared, watching Qin Heng with unwavering certainty.
This wasn't just confidence in her looks and figure; it was also a conclusion drawn from her usual interactions with Qin Heng. She knew she had feelings for him and couldn't believe he wasn't the least bit moved!
However, saying it so directly still made her feel sowhat nervous.
THUMP THUMP!
THUMP THUMP THUMP!!
Now, she felt as if a million fawns were stampeding in her heart, a chaotic force powerful enough to make a mountain crumble.
What will he think? How will he respond!? What if he outright rejects
and never wants to see
again!? What should I do!? Too impulsive! Aaargh! I've really been too impulsive this ti!!
Song Ningran's mind was a tangled ss. She almost wanted to clutch her head, her entire body feeling feverish.
THUMP THUMP THUMP!!
Her heart pounded furiously. She felt as if her whole body was ablaze; her cheeks were frighteningly hot, her entire fra overheated, her heart like a furnace.
Aaargh! Why hasn't he responded yet!?
Song Ningran now felt an overwhelming urge to sohow peer into Qin Heng's heart and see his true thoughts.
"What do you think now?" Qin Heng chuckled softly. He didn't answer directly but posed a question instead. Then, he gently released Song Ningran, wrapped the jacket tightly around her, and helped her sit on the bed.
??? Song Ningran was completely befuddled. She never expected that after all her inner turmoil, this would be his only response.
"What, what do you really want!!" she couldn't help but demand.
I'm all in now. I won't rest until I get an answer!
However, looking at Qin Heng's figure before her, a wave of timidity washed over her, and she didn't dare to speak further.
At this mont, Qin Heng stood with his hands clasped behind him, his back to Song Ningran. His silhouette was like that of an Eternal Immortal God, possessing a hint of loneliness, as if through the vast, unhurried eons of ti and space, he alone existed.
"You could say... you're one of the most important people to ," Qin Heng suddenly spoke. His tone was tinged with contemplation and affirmation, as if he were finally confronting his own feelings. Throughout his past and present lives, despite walking the Eternal Immortal Path, the number of people truly important to him had been few.
Qin Yun and his parents were those he treasured most. Unfortunately, they had passed away early in his previous life. Even after stepping into the Star Universe, though he t a few other important individuals, they paled in significance compared to Qin Yun and his parents.
Now, in this life, Qin Heng possessed many things he hadn't before—experiences, possessions, and the people around him. After everything they had been through, Song Ningran had beco one of the most important people to him. Even more important than so of the significant individuals he had t in the Starry Sky in his previous life.
Song Ningran was stunned by his words. She could sense the complex emotions in his voice but couldn't quite grasp their full aning, only feeling an inexplicable ache in her heart.
She embraced Qin Heng again, this ti from behind, pressing her cheek against his back. "I'm sorry," she murmured softly, "I was too impulsive today. I'm sorry..."
She truly regretted it.
But to receive such an answer from Qin Heng left her feeling incredibly satisfied and deeply moved.
"Since you know enough to apologize, shouldn't you accept a punishnt?" Qin Heng's voice suddenly carried a hint of amusent. He turned around, his eyes narrowing slightly as he smiled. "Shouldn't you?"
"Ah!??" Song Ningran was taken aback at first, then exclaid, "What, what are you going to do!???"
