The Cyan Profound Martial Academy offers a variety of academy missions for disciples, divided into four levels: simple, elite, difficult, and hell.

Simple tasks are mostly for Spirit Pill Martial Artists, elite tasks range from Yang Wheel level one to five, difficult tasks correspond to Yang Wheel level six to nine, and hell tasks are prepared for a few disciples in the Divine Illumination Realm.

The more difficult the task, the more dangerous and higher the level.

Collecting materials, hunting demon beasts, chasing down fugitives, eliminating bandit threats, and other miscellaneous tasks of the academy...

The entire Cyan Profound Mansion is within the task range of the Cyan Profound Martial Academy, and in order to complete certain missions, they might even head to so commandery cities or deadly terrains.

The task content is not mandatory, but every disciple of the academy must complete at least one mission each month, and if they die during mission execution, the academy will provide compensation to the deceased’s family or sect.

Executing tasks and obtaining contribution points is the only way for academy disciples to exchange resources from the academy.

It can be said that every grown disciple of the academy has climbed out from various tasks, from mountains of corpses and seas of blood!

...

Entering the Mission Hall, there are many disciples coming and going daily, and even non-academy martial artists co here to issue tasks.

Casually finding an attendant, Chu Nan straightforwardly said, "I want to choose an academy task."

The attendant, without looking at Chu Nan, plainly asked, "What cultivation?"

"Yang Wheel." Chu Nan directly replied without concealnt.

The person was not surprised, as Yang Wheel martial artists were too nurous in the Cyan Profound Martial Academy, not worth extra attention.

Taking out a silver-covered booklet, the attendant said, "Here are the recently issued elite missions, feel free to choose one."

Chu Nan nodded, then flipped it open.

The booklet had ten pages, each annotated with many tasks, including content, location, etc., and lastly, even recomnded cultivation levels, allowing academy disciples to weigh their actions.

Chu Nan did not look at Yang Wheel level one martial artist tasks, his gaze continuously moving down to directly find the recomnded tasks for Yang Wheel level three martial artists.

Characters at this level had contribution points ranging from one thousand to two thousand, enough to exchange for a top-grade Spirit Martial weapon.

Royal-grade Spirit Martial weapons were too rare, so Chu Nan plans to go with the flow later.

"Capture the Yang Wheel level three demon beast, Ling Huoque at Jinghong Ridge, take its carcass, reward one thousand to one thousand five contribution points based on the integrity of the carcass."

Ling Huoque is adept at fast flying, and although Yang Wheel martial artists can already move through the air, Chu Nan feels he can’t catch up with Ling Huoque and imdiately chose to give up.

"Pursue the fugitive Li Hao, Yang Wheel level three late-stage strength, once robbed a convoy, assaulted won, and used martial artist’s essence to enhance cultivation, guilty of heinous cris.

Recently reported to be active near Cyan Profound Mansion, may be executed on the spot upon discovery, task reward of one thousand three hundred contribution points."

Chu Nan was sowhat tempted, but thinking about fugitives being elusive and uncertain of their whereabouts, searching was too difficult.

Reluctantly, Chu Nan gave up this task and continued looking down.

Like this, he looked over ten or more tasks in a row, most of which were kill missions and extrely dangerous, consuming a considerable amount of ti.

After contemplating for a long ti, Chu Nan finally settled on a task and said, "I choose mission eighteen."

Seeing the task Chu Nan chose, the attendant’s eyes widened slightly, then asked, "Are you sure you want to choose this task?"

"I see you’re young, cultivation level at most Yang Wheel level one. This task was undertaken by five Yang Wheel level three disciples in succession and none returned. I advise you to reconsider."

The attendant kindly advised.

Chu Nan slightly frowned, the content of mission eighteen was simple.

Go to Black Killing Mountain in Songyang Commandery to eliminate the bandit gang Black Slaughter, which has about three hundred mbers of various martial artist levels.

According to the information above, the strongest in Black Killing Mountain is a Yang Wheel level three entity, very powerful, and under his protection are two Yang Wheel level twos.

Under his shelter, the Black Slaughter gang often robs passing martial artists heading to Songyang Commandery, plundering nearby villages, stained with untold blood.

Due to the large number in the Black Slaughter gang, the task contribution points are as high as two thousand!

Enough for Chu Nan to exchange for a decent top-grade Spirit Martial weapon in the academy.

"So many Yang Wheel level threes have died, why not upgrade the task and increase contribution points?" Chu Nan frowned and questioned.

The attendant replied, "According to multiple investigations, the strongest in the Black Slaughter gang is only at the Yang Wheel level three realm, hence it can’t be upgraded."

Chu Nan was sowhat helpless, but finally made up his mind and said, "It’s okay, risky is risky, I’ll take this task."

Danger and opportunity coexist, for five Yang Wheel level three disciples to not return, there might be sothing fishy, perhaps even so benefits!

Seeing Chu Nan’s resolve, the attendant stopped advising, deeply sighed, and began processing his paperwork.

Before long, the paperwork was completed, and Chu Nan’s na was added to the back of mission eighteen, indicating he had taken this task and others could not.

After finishing all this, Chu Nan turned to leave.

Unexpectedly, he ran into an old acquaintance. Zhang i’Er, accompanied by her two followers, stepped into the Mission Hall.

"It’s you!" Zhang Baii exclaid upon seeing Chu Nan, then sneered, "You’ve just joined the academy, and you’re already taking on missions?"

Zhang Baii was also here to take a mission but didn’t expect to encounter Chu Nan.

As she spoke, Zhang Baii walked to the attendant and snatched the silver booklet, saying, "Let see what mission you took."

Flipping through casually, Zhang Baii quickly noticed Chu Nan’s na, and imdiately mocked, "Chu Nan, I didn’t expect you to be so overconfident."

"Even I wouldn’t dare to take on the task of eliminating the Black Slaughter gang, and you dare to try; it’s ludicrous."

"Given your ability, I think it will be a one-way trip, why not hand over the rewards from the Cyan Profound Competition, and maybe I’ll be kind enough to collect your body!"

Zhang Baii originally planned to find a chance to deal with Chu Nan and avenge her brother Zhang Jian, but didn’t expect him to seek his own doom.

Chu Nan shot a cold glance at Zhang Baii, unable to tolerate her mockery, then said, "Just because you can’t doesn’t an others can’t."

"You’re just a pampered young lady, daring to bark madly in front of ."

"Bold, just joined the academy and dare to speak wildly!" Zhang Baii was instantly infuriated, and in her anger, was about to suppress Chu Nan.

Chu Nan’s gaze bore into Zhang Baii unyielding, if this woman wanted to make a move, he naturally wouldn’t be polite!

But just as Zhang Baii raised her hand halfway, her eyes turned, and she revealed a sinister smile, saying, "Chu Nan, I don’t want to bully you with cultivation either."

"Why don’t we make a bet?"

Zhang Baii squinted her eyes at Chu Nan, she had an idea to get the Cyan Profound Competition rewards from Chu Nan without breaching academy rules.

And avenge her brother Zhang Jian.

"What kind of person are you, to be thinking of betting with ?" Surprisingly, Chu Nan didn’t take the bait, instead calling it out with a taunt.
