After a long while, Lu Chen finally ca to his senses.
"He might be too excited."
Lu Chen thought to himself that it might still take a while to go and register at the sect.
Sitting idly here was making him restless, so he turned his attention to the pit that was emitting Earth Fire.
Next to it, there was a forge for Artifact Refining, which Zhu Chongjiu would probably move over when he needed to refine Magic Artifacts, using the Earth Fire for the process.
"Why not take a look at this Earth Fire and see what’s different?"
With a flicker in his eyes, Lu Chen ca up with an idea.
But he was also worried that he might beco too imrsed in observing the Earth Fire and not notice when Zhu Chongjiu returned.
So, he walked towards the entrance of the cave and placed the Mysterious Iron Spear at the entrance.
"Spear Spirit, you must help keep watch. Alert if soone cos back."
The Spear Spirit hastily replied, "Rest assured, Master. I will keep a vigilant watch."
Lu Chen nodded, then walked over to the edge of the pit. After circling it, he chose a spot where the fire wasn’t too intense and used the Hateful Heaven Pupil Technique to look into the depths of the pit!
Under the Pupil Skill, all he could see was a crimson glow.
The deeper the color, the more it indicated that the concentration of Fire Spiritual Power was rich.

Lu Chen’s face changed abruptly; the spear was one of his lifelines. What would he do if it was stolen?
Imdiately, his expression beca severe. Channeling Spiritual Power under his feet, he dashed towards the entrance of the cave!
Seeing three figures with their backs to him, one of them examining the spear, Lu Chen suddenly shouted, "Put it down, that’s my Magic Artifact!"
