Approaching the courtyard, Shang Xiu sniffed the air and then smiled at Qin Yaotiao, "I’ve heard from the master that you weren’t even a martial artist before, so how co you got injured?"
Qin Yaotiao bit her lip and said, "It’s because of my young master..."
"Young master? Which young master?"
Shang Xiu was surprised, then said, "Weren’t you brought here by master? Don’t tell you used to be a servant girl?"
"Yes," Qin Yaotiao nodded and explained, "I used to be a servant girl for the Lu Family in Yuzhou City. I got injured due to so incident, and the young master brought here. I was saved by Doctor Zhao’s treatnt. Then the young master took to seek spiritual dicine, and that’s when we t master!"
"Your young master sounds impressive," Shang Xiu nodded and added, "In my forr family, the life of servants was tough."
"Senior sister, were you also once a common mortal?"
Qin Yaotiao asked curiously, looking up.

Qin Yaotiao, not in the best of spirits and having learned that Doctor Zhao wasn’t around, didn’t say much. She directly asked, "Do you know where I can rent a carriage in Ten Thousand Demon Town?"
"Rent a carriage?"
Knowing the relationship between Lu Chen and Zhao Chang, the young man was willing to accommodate Qin Yaotiao. Without showing her away, he said, "There have been no carriage rentals in Ten Thousand Demon Mountain recently. If you want to rent a carriage, the closest place is Yuzhou City!"

"Big senior sister, we’ve asked around, and there indeed aren’t any. To rent a carriage, we must go to the nearest Yuzhou City!"
Even as Shang Xiu backed Qin Yaotiao up, she still ended up infuriating Liu Ruyan.
"I don’t want to walk even a single step. Since Yuzhou City has them, you go to Yuzhou City and bring a carriage back!"
Seeing Shang Xiu frown, Liu Ruyan smiled coquettishly and said, "Of course, after getting to Yuzhou City, you can leave first. We will catch up later."
