"ng Yao, did you sleep well last night?"

Early in the morning, when Ning ngyao arrived at the dining room, Ning Zhenyue was already seated there.

After yesterday's ordeal, the Ning Family had returned to normal.

"Quite... well!"

Ning ngyao fiddled with her hair, her face blushing as she looked down.

She dared not tell her grandfather that she had sent the groom next door.

To this day, she didn't even know his na.

"This ti, it was truly heaven's rcy on the Ning Family, bringing us such a good grandson-in-law at the crucial mont and also resolving the Ning Family's crisis. From now on, you two must respect each other and live well, striving to let hold a great-grandson before I close my eyes," Ning Zhenyue said with a delighted smile.

Although his conversation with Lin Fan last night had been brief,

he had taken a strong liking to his manner and character.

"Grandpa... these things can't be rushed!"

Ning ngyao sat awkwardly on the chair.

She was still contemplating a divorce in six months.

"In any case, you can't act the spoiled young lady anymore, especially not using the Ning Family to bully him. He is the Ning Family's benefactor. I also thought last night that with the company's busy affairs, it would be good to have your husband help you. In the future, you can face challenges together," Ning Zhenyue said after sipping his tea.

"Grandpa, I can handle the company's matters by myself. Besides, we are a formal company, and what I dislike the most is nepotism. Furthermore, we don't know his background well enough to understand if he could adapt to our company. Moreover, parachuting him into a high managent position might cause other executives to speculate wrongly. The Ning Family doesn't need an extra idler; better to have him stay ho and keep you company," Ning ngyao abruptly refused.

This sort of emotionless life was already suffocating.

If he were around more, she feared she might be utterly overwheld.

"He doesn't have to be a high executive; he can start with a different position, starting from the bottom. I rember today there's a group going to the marketing departnt. It would be good for him to go along, understand the supply and demand relations, and gain so experience. Once he gets the hang of things, we can promote him. I'll discuss this with your husband in a while," Ning Zhenyue said, having made up his mind.

"The marketing departnt, is it? Fine, as long as he agrees, I have no objection. There are still matters to attend to at the company, so I'll leave first,"

Ning ngyao stood up, not wanting to et with the husband whose na she didn't even know, and walked out.

Watching her hasty departure, Ning Zhenyue could only sigh.

How could his granddaughter be so indifferent?

"Grandpa, good morning!"

No sooner had Ning ngyao left than Lin Fan ca out.

He, who had been awake for a while and stretched lazily, had only stayed out of sight because Ning ngyao was there.

"Son-in-law, please sit down. I didn't know what you liked for breakfast, so I just had the kitchen prepare sothing. If it doesn't suit you, tell them to make sothing else," Ning Zhenyue invited Lin Fan to sit, looking contentedly at his son-in-law.

Such a fine young man, the more he looked, the more pleasing to the eye he found him.

"Grandpa, no need, this is quite good,"

On days of deploynt, even a full al was hard to co by.

Lin Fan was naturally not picky.

"Son-in-law, do you have other matters to attend to besides receiving the sword?"

Watching Lin Fan eat voraciously, Ning Zhenyue was very happy.

"Not at the mont, Grandpa, do you have sothing you need?"

Lin Fan asked curiously.

"I feel with your youth and strength, you shouldn't remain idle too long. How about you help out at the Ning Group? You're still young, start from the bottom, understand the operations of the Ning Family's company, and also improve your relationship with ng Yao. After so ti, once you are fully acquainted, I'll call a board eting and appoint you as an executive," Ning Zhenyue said, now in a semi-retired state.

The company was entirely managed by Ning ngyao.

"Okay, I'll follow Grandpa's advice,"

Lin Fan smiled, stuffing a piece of bread into his mouth.

After all, he had nothing else to do.

Working at his wife's company would definitely be interesting.

......

In the CEO's office of the Ning Group.

As soon as Ning ngyao walked in, she began instructing the secretary by her side.

"I heard that there will be new hires in the sales departnt today," she said. "Inform the head of sales that these people must be scrutinized rigorously, and there is no probation period. They must participate in the assessnt imdiately. If their performance is not up to standard, get rid of them imdiately. Got that?"

Ning ngyao leaned back in her chair.

Her expressionless eyes gazed at the beautiful scene outside the window.

"President, are these people perhaps your relatives? Are you being so harsh because you don't want them to stay in the company?"

Having worked closely with Ning ngyao for years,

secretary Li Na had long figured out her thoughts.

So jobs involving relatives are really hard to turn down.

The only option is to find a way to have other leaders take the hit for her.

"Look who thinks she knows too much," she snapped. "Rember, tell those leaders that if they can't drive those interns away, they can beco interns themselves."

Ning ngyao certainly did not want the person to remain around her.

As long as she could find an excuse to kick him out of the company,

even grandfather couldn't do anything about it.

"Why don't you just tell the na, and I guarantee he won't last three days!"

Li Na asked curiously.

"The na... I didn't ask!"

Ning ngyao then rembered that she hadn't asked what this person's na was.

"'Better to kill mistakenly than to miss out'—no problem, I've got this," Li Na said with a mischievous grin as she walked out of the office with the file.

The president's request was imdiately understood by everyone.

After all, they had done the sa in the past.

But Lin Fan, completely unaware, was just now taking a cab to Ning Group.

As he pushed open the taxi door and stood beneath the office building,

he looked up at the imposing structure of the company's many-storied building.

"Squeak!"

Suddenly, the sound of brakes screeched next to Lin Fan.

Turning his head, he saw a fiery red convertible sports car.

"Hey, bumpkin, first ti in the city, huh? What are you gawking at? You're blocking the way!"

A woman in jeans, wearing sunglasses, sat in it.

Her black hair draped over her shoulders, and while her delicate face was partly hidden,

those red lips and her fiery figure were completely unmistakable.

"Sorry!"

Lin Fan could see a hint of a dark aura between her brows,

but he didn't say much else and quickly moved out of the way.

As the sports car drove into the underground garage, Lin Fan also walked into the office building.

After inquiring at the reception about the marketing departnt on the sixteenth floor, he headed for the elevator.

But as the elevator doors opened, Lin Fan found the tall beauty who was driving the sports car standing in front of him.

It was indeed her from the convertible.

Over 1.7 ters tall, she had the proportions of a model.

Jeans and a white t-shirt couldn't conceal her voluptuous chest and slender waist.

Her black skinny jeans accentuated her long legs even further.

Nothing was revealed, yet it was hard to look away.

"Hey, country bumpkin, what are you staring at? Haven't seen a beauty before? Keep looking, and I will gouge your eyeballs out!"

She flipped her hair and stood with a haughty stance,

clearly looking down on Lin Fan.

"I've seen plenty of beauties, but I haven't seen one as terminally ill as you. The heart disease of your ancestors must be severe, making it difficult for them to live past seventy. As for you, you might not even reach thirty!"
