The night was deep and quiet.

In Ning Mansion, the light in Ning ngyao’s room was still on.

At this mont, she was wearing pajamas and hugging a quilt.

Leaning against the headboard, she was lost in thought.

And by her side, Yang Linglong, with her hair cascading over her shoulders, was also staring at the wall across from them.

Without a word.

Both won were heavily burdened with their thoughts, each preoccupied with troubles weighing on their minds.

Unable to find peace for a long ti.

"Linglong, I have a secret to tell you."

After mulling it over for a long ti, Ning ngyao still broke the silence.

If there was one person in the world she could fully trust,

it had to be Yang Linglong.

"I have sothing to tell you too."

Yang Linglong let out a sigh.

Lin Fan’s recent actions had left her feeling lost.

There had been so many opportunities to take the most important step.

Yet, she still hadn’t given herself to him.

The sense of distance Lin Fan showed made her afraid.

Could it be that she no longer attracted him?

"You go first!"

The two won almost simultaneously turned to look at each other.

Then, after falling silent again, there was deathly stillness.

"It’s about my husband and ... I’ve decided not to divorce him."

Ning ngyao was the first to speak up.

"Is it because you’ve fallen in love with him? ngyao, it’s true that familiarity can breed affection, but can you be sure that what you’re feeling is love and not just habit?"

Yang Linglong held Ning ngyao’s hand, her face full of concern.

Familiarity over ti doesn’t necessarily an love.

"I’m sure it’s love. Actually, during this ti, he’s been helping a lot behind the scenes. If it weren’t for him, I probably would be in big trouble by now. So, I can affirm that this is love. The reason I wanted to divorce before was not because I didn’t love him but because I felt like I wanted to give him the opportunity to be with soone else."

A blush crossed Ning ngyao’s face.

Having been around him, she realized she couldn’t part with Lin Fan.

The protective affection he showed allowed her to relax completely.

An unhesitating trust that went beyond life itself.

If this wasn’t love, then what is?

"Give him the opportunity to be with soone else? What do you an?"

Yang Linglong looked at Ning ngyao with a perplexed expression.

"Actually, not long ago, he had a great opportunity. As long as we divorced, he could have climbed to a higher and better platform, beco a better version of himself. So, I wanted to let him have that. After all, I know that he is like the wind; he will belong to the blue sky. Even if I tried to keep him, he would probably fly away from one day anyway."

Ning ngyao didn’t make it too obvious.

After all, Yang Linglong knew Xu Zhi Rou.

If it was about a woman with a better background, she would surely guess.

"But now I’ve changed my mind. Love is selfish, after all. I can’t bear to let go of my love for him, nor can I let go of him. I can’t even dare to imagine a world without him now, so I’ve decided that I will protect my husband, even if I can’t offer him better opportunities. I do not wish to just vanish. At the very least, I will definitely not be the one to leave first."

"What’s his attitude?"

Yang Linglong asked cautiously.

After all, this wasn’t a decision one person could make on their own.

"He has been firmly opposed to the divorce from the beginning. And because of this, he even had a confrontation with the other party. So it’s his actions that have given the courage. If I’m not good enough, then I will strive to be that good."

Ning ngyao pursed her lips.

She may not have a father like Prince Zhen Nan.

But she would strive to beco a better person.

Soone worthy of standing by his side.

"That’s right, love has to be grasped by oneself. Who are you to say what’s good for him is what he needs? If he has chosen you so firmly, you can’t let him down. After all, to reject such a great temptation for you, if not for a heart that loves you, he simply couldn’t have held on."

Yang Linglong could fully empathize with Ning ngyao’s feelings.

This kind of persistence was indeed enviable.

"What about you? Didn’t you say you had sothing to say just now?"

Bearing her heart to her best friend.

Ning ngyao felt as though she had finally put down the stone in her heart.

She turned her head to look at Yang Linglong; she didn’t seem well today either.

"ng Yao, I’m afraid this secret will make you think I’m a bad woman."

Yang Linglong bit her lip, looking timidly at Ning ngyao.

She was her very best friend.

If she really looked down on her, she would be truly heartbroken.

"What’s so serious? Besides, we’ve been close sisters since we were little. Others might not know what kind of person you are, but how could I not know? If you could beco a bad woman, then there probably aren’t many good won left in this world."

Ning ngyao leaned on Yang Linglong’s shoulder.

Their friendship was strong enough to support any problem.

Even if she truly were an utterly despicable person.

Ning ngyao would still choose to stand by her side, supporting her.

After all, she believed that her best friend must have her reasons.

"I’m actually the third party who destroyed soone else’s marriage!"

Yang Linglong really mustered unprecedented courage to reveal this secret.

As expected, Ning ngyao was startled.

She sat up straight, staring at her face.

"You’re not going to tell your boyfriend is married, are you?"

"That’s right, and I also hopelessly fell in love with him even after knowing he was married. But I swear, I never intended to break up his family from the start to the end."

Yang Linglong sighed deeply.

Leaning powerlessly against the headboard.

She had used all her strength to make her secret known to everyone.

She had almost spent all the courage she had in this lifeti.

"This... is troubleso!"

Hesitating a little, Ning ngyao took Yang Linglong’s hand.

"Sotis love is blind, and sotis it’s helpless. Fate has made you et such a person, and all you can do is to accept it helplessly. And I firmly believe that you’re not the type to wreck soone’s marriage. It’s just like Li Qiqi doing whatever she can to cling to a married man just to survive. So, both of you are pitiable."

"I don’t want to destroy anything of his, I just want to wait for him silently, to stand by him, to be by his side when he is free, to see him smile. My smile follows his, but it seems like a big problem has already occurred."

Yang Linglong had a bitter expression on her face.

As she spoke, tears were already marking her face.

"Did his wife find out?"

Ning ngyao asked with a puzzled voice.

"No, it’s not that. It’s just that he’s been particularly distant lately, and I’m afraid he wants to return to his family."

Yang Linglong sobbed and leaned on Ning ngyao’s shoulder, "I’ve never dared hope for a marriage in broad daylight, and I don’t want to trouble his wife. But I can’t forget him in my heart, that kind of love is just too tornted. I really don’t know what to do now. I’m in so much pain, I don’t want to be a bad woman, but without him, I don’t even want to live."

The sobs of her good sister made Ning ngyao’s eyes red as well.

Won deeply in love are always so easily hurt.

Wrapping her arms around her shoulder, Ning ngyao’s eyes flashed with a hint of resolve.

"Why not be a bad woman? My good sister, I support you. If we don’t steal the person away, we’re already being conscientious enough, but nobody can control a stolen mont!"
