Chapter 2236: A Gamble
“Wordless Heavenly Book, the Flourish of the Heavens and Earth!”
Empress Feiyue collected her thoughts and summoned an ancient book. She inserted a huge amount of her Power of Rules into the book. The pages of the book began to flip rapidly.
Wisps of mystical light ca out of the book and ford a watery screen.
The visual on it blinked rapidly until it stopped at a specific scene.
It was a vast valley with a mountain range that resembled a white mist. The mountain range was like an ancient dragon lying across the valley.
Eternal Night Heaven Highness. Ruler Huangyun, Ruler Miexiang, and the others were standing in front of it.
Apart from Eternal Night Heaven Highness, Ruler Huangyun and the rest were emitting a trendous glow with ancient artifacts hovering around them. They were unleashing terrifying forces at the mountain range.
The spirit of the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor must be sleeping inside the mountain range from the looks of it.

Qin Nan’s eyes soon flickered with astonishnt.
He discovered that the mountain range had rged with the vast land. The five Rulers of Dao were struggling to overco its power.
A dark light burst out of Eternal Night Heaven Highness’ body, followed by an overwhelming aura.
Even though Qin Nan and Empress Feiyue were quite far away from the mountain range, they could still sense the Heaven Highness’ aura.
Eternal Night Heaven Highness took out a bow and pulled its string. A trendous dark Power of Rules gathered with every inch the string was pulled back.
The Power of Rules eventually turned into a pitch-black arrow.
Qin Nan was stunned.
He could feel a trendous pressure through the screen.

The string loosened and fired the arrow. The screen imdiately fell into darkness.
Qin Nan lifted his gaze. The rift nearby had darkened too.
The darkness lasted for more than a hundred breaths before it slowly faded away.
Qin Nan imdiately looked at the screen and saw the mountain range was now black with a huge pit over a hundred zhang long and a few dozen zhang wide at its center.
The mountain range’s color also darkened gradually. Eternal Night Heaven Highness’ Power of Rules was corrupting the mountain range like the venom of a snake.
“A Heaven Highness does have extraordinary capabilities!” Qin Nan exclaid.

Qin Nan frowned.
Things were more complicated than he expected.

“Even if they aren’t interested in Cang’s reincarnation, they wouldn’t know what’s going to happen if they aren’t able to retrieve the spirit of the orb prior to Cang’s reincarnation.”
“Therefore, we have the sa goal as them.”
Qin Nan nodded. Empress Feiyue added, “If I’m right, Eternal Night Heaven Highness and Ruler Huangyun is going to call all the Rulers of Dao here to break through the mountain range.”
“However, the Ancient Taboo will have predicted it too. Judging from how sturdy the mountain range is, even if they were able to gather all the Rulers of Dao, they wouldn’t be able to break through it in just a month.”

If he showed himself, Eternal Night Heaven Highness and the others were surely going to leave the spirit aside and target him first.
