Jace naturally didn't refuse the offer and readily agreed to the invitation then the two left while chatting like old buddies. Scarlet was completely surprised by Jun Hie's actions because for as long as she knew him, Jun Hie had always been an arrogant person who rarely hung out with anyone. Even the number of his friends could only be counted on one hand, this was how difficult it was to make friends with him so his actions were very shocking.
She then looked at Haoyu under the tree who was also looking at her with his cold eyes like they were made from ice. Her senses warned her to be careful of Haoyu because he was a very dangerous person.
‘Is he the one secretly watching over Jace in the shadows?! So he was hiding in plain sight, no, he wasn't even hiding himself.’ she thought inwardly and quickly left.

Jun Hie took Jace to a high end bar where only the wealthy could afford to drink here and average people compyrku avoided this place like a plague. This place was called Joe's Bar and not only did it sell expensive alcohol, it also had an entrance fee of Twenty Thousand Stella so even if you just wanted to tour the place as an average person, you had to pay such an exorbitant amount of money.
Jun Hie bought very strong and very strong alcohol and he and Jace enjoyed themselves while talking about random topics. “Hahaha! That's a good one, hahaha!” laughed Jun Hie but internally, he was having different thoughts and seed to be acting drunk for so unknown reason.
‘Fuck. So he found the skinny Haoyu trapped in a cave and nursed him back to health and in exchange, Haoyu pledged his undying loyalty to him. Lucky bastard!’ he said internally.
Jun Hie was really pretending like he was drunk to get information out of Jace but took what Jace told him and translated it to an sothing completely different when in fact, Jace was telling him the truth.
“And how did you make him submit to you? It must have been difficult right, afterall, that guy is very powerful.”
“Hahaha! He is really powerful but it was very easy to make him submit. I gave him a chance to personally get revenge on those who wronged him and in exchange, he had to beco my slave for eternity. Easy right, the whole process took less than five minutes after just finding him inside the cave.” said Jace.
‘What the fuck?! Did that guy submit so quickly?! Jace must have given him lots of food and water then tricked him into becoming his slave. What a manipulative and calculative guy, a true master in disguise.’ thought Jun Hie.
“Brother in-law, you're really aweso, co on, let's continue drinking! Drink more! Drink more!” said Jun Hie and the two drank and spoke about all sorts of things but when Jun Hie probed about Jace's past, Jace just laughed and didn't say anything. This obviously made Jun Hie even more curious about Jace's background.
‘Why are you trying to hide your past? Is it because you're from a hidden family in the mountains and finally decided to descend in order to experience the world?! That would make complete sense.’ thought Jun Hie. The two continued to drink and spoke about random topics again but not for long.
“Brother in-law, just out of curiosity, how strong is Haoyu? I an he has to be really strong right if he's also your bodyguard right?”
“Haoyu is very strong. You know… he is a cultivator. You know what a cultivator is, very strong people who can destroy cities with the wave of their hands. Haoyu is one of them and not only is he strong, he is extrely talented and dedicated to cultivation.” answered Jace with pride and joy.
“He's a cultivator?! Amazing! I've naturally heard about cultivators from books and I know that they are separated into realms. What realm has Haoyu reached?” asked Jun Hie.
“Haoyu is really amazing. He didn't even take a day to go from being an ordinary person all the way to the peak of Qi Condensation. How amazing is that?! He can even control the Ice Elent so he's very strong but I don't know how strong a peak Qi Condensation Realm cultivator is because I never asked him. I'll ask him when I have ti.” said Jace.
“WHAT?! PEAK QI CONDENSING REALM?!” exclaid Jun Hie in complete shock. He couldn't believe it but rembering what happened earlier today, it all made sense. He didn't expect Haoyu, who looked young to be so powerful and even control the rare Ice Elent. Jun Hie quickly composed himself and the two continued to have a good ti.
Jun Hie also stopped inquiring about Jace's life and past and just went with the flow and they left Joe's Bar late in the evening. Jun Hie didn't find carrying Jace difficult because Jace was an ordinary person.

“Where have you guys been and how many drinks did you have?!” shouted Scarlet with worry as she looked at the two drunk people. One couldn't even walk properly and the other couldn't speak properly. Haoyu was standing with Scarlet and once he saw Jace in a drunk state, he smiled and shook his head. He then carried Jace like a sack of potatoes while Scarlet also ordered the servants to take Jun Hie to his room before following behind Haoyu.
“Haoyu, I actually made a friend today. Jun Hie is not just my brother-in-law anymore but also my friend. The first friend to ever have!” said Jace in a drunken voice.
“Congratulations.” said Haoyu calmly.
Scarlet on the other hand was surprised by Jace's words because that ant that Jace had never had friends until today. She just couldn't believe it. Scarlet then opened the door to her room and Haoyu entered, placed Jace on the bed and proceeded to leave.
“Wait!” she said.
“What?” asked Haoyu coldly.
“Thank you for your help.”
“I'm just doing my job so there's no need to thank .” said Haoyu before leaving.
Scarlet then changed clothes and wore her night dress but not before he took off Jace's clothes and shoes in order for him to sleep comfortably. When Scarlet entered the bed, Jace took her into his arms and gave her a deep kiss.
“I don't know what love is and I never knew what love is but I'm gonna try my best to make you happy. You're the best thing that's ever happened in my life.” said Jace before he fell asleep.
