“Didn't I tell you to never show your face in front of again! Today, I want to break your legs, maybe that will help you to heed my warnings. Boys, beat him up!” a teenage male voice sounded in an alley.
Puchi! Puchi! Puchi! Puchi!
The sound of soone being beaten up resounded in the alley. Two boys were punching and kicking a young man of similar age while the other two boys watched the show in excitent. One of the teenage boys beating up the other boys had fists that had spikes on them while his friend was very muscular.
The teenage boy on the ground was covered in blood and wounds but the beating still went on.
‘I fucking hate my life! I fucking hate my life! Just because of my Ability, I'm subjected to such inhuman treatnt! If only I awakened a powerful Ability instead of this trash Reversal Ability.’ thought the teenager who was being beaten black and blue.
This was the current Earth, everyone now had a superpower which was called an Ability. These Abilities were separated into ranks of Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, Epic, Legendary and Mythical. The higher the rank, the stronger one's Ability was.
Having a Unique or higher rank Ability ans that you have a bright future ahead of you. The teenager who was being beaten up was called Jace and he'd awakened a Unique Rank Ability called Reversal. This Ability allows him to reverse anything to its original state, for example, he can turn a broken glass to its original state without even needing the broken glass pieces.
It might sound like a broken Ability but it's not, the things that he can reverse to their original states are small and ordinary objects like glasses, cups, knives, clothes and such. And in the current Earth, that basically ans you're trash and trash are treated as nothing in the current society.
As for how Earth ca to be this way, it actually happened hundreds of years ago when the Spiritual Tide occurred. A different form of Energy was suddenly exposed to Earth and caused all living creatures to evolve and grow stronger. Instead of evolving like what wild and dostic animals were doing, humans awakened Abilities.
These Abilities were then used to fend off the now evolved beasts which were running rampant all over the world, hunting and killing humans. This era was then nad the Age Of Beasts or the Age Of Extinction. It was in this era that the rankings of Abilities was introduced and those whose Abilities were deed to be of higher rank obtained full support from the governnt and grew stronger.
It was these guys who helped humanity to survive this disaster and gain a foothold for themselves. Seeing that the strategy of ranking Abilities had worked, it had been implented ever since.
This was also why this teenager was being bullied to such an extent yet the bullies had no fear of the consequences. It was because the two beating him up had Unique Rank Abilities which also ant that their Abilities were unique to themselves and no one else had the sa Ability as them. The other two watching had Epic Rank Abilities and were treasured young n.
The two teens beating Jace up were called Terry and Ben, they were Chris's lackies and beside Chris was his right hand man Hugh. Terry had an Ability called Porcupine Spikes, Ben had an Ability called Gorilla, Hugh had an Ability called Poison Manipulation and Chris had an Ability called Fire Manipulation.
“Terry, Ben, please stop beating up. The three of us are black, shouldn't we take care of one another since we're of the sa race.”
“Jace, what bullshit are you spouting! A talentless person like you doesn't deserve to be of the sa race as ! You might be black but you're nothing in our eyes! Besides that, in this day and age, who still cares about race, only one's Ability matters!” answered Terry and Ben nodded in agreent.
“Jace, trash like you doesn't even deserve to be called human. I've fucking changed mind, instead of crippling you, I think killing you would be much better. Today, I shall clean the stain of humanity and get rid of you!” said Chris as he and Hugh approached him.
“Guys, I was wrong, please let go! PLEASE LET GO! I PROMISE TO DROP OUT OF SCHOOL! I WON'T SHOW MYSELF IN FRONT OF YOU EVER AGAIN! PLEASE LET GO!” begged Jace with snort and tears all over his face.
Chris grabbed him by the head and whispered softly in his ears.
“It's too late…”
Hugh then plunged his sharp nails into Jace’s back and injected poison into Jace's body through his nails. Green veins appeared all over Jace's body as he scread in pain and agony.
“AAAHHH! PLEASE! PLEASE LET GO! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEA…AAAHHH” Jace begged for rcy but what he got instead was a powerful fist that broke his bones.
“PLEASE…LET …GO! PLEASE! I'M…BEGGING…YOU! JUST LET G…AAAHHH! HELP! HELP! AAAHHH! SOBODY HELP ! HELP! AAAHHH!!!”
After the fist that broke his bones, spikes pierced him and finally, Chris set him alight and burned him alive. No matter how much he scread or begged for help, the teenagers didn't stop torturing him and neither did anyone co to his aide. Chris was about to finish him off when suddenly, a massive space crack appeared where they were and all of them fell inside it.
The space crack remained open for a few seconds before closing up and just when it did. Soone appeared there but found nothing except for burnt blood.

Jace woke up but found himself in a completely unfamiliar place, even the air he breathed felt different. When Jace and everyone fell inside the space crack, Jace had imdiately lost consciousness due to excessive blood loss and ntal fatigue and he woke up only now.
His body was aching all over, he couldn't move his arms and legs or any part of his body because his bones were broken, his skin was burnt to a crisp and he was also poisoned and was on the verge of death. It's often speculated that when soone is about to die, their life flashes before their eyes and Jace was in the sa situation.
His breathing was growing softer by the second, his vision beca clouded and mories flashed by like a speeding car. The only problem with these mories was that these weren't happy mories but mories of him getting bullied from when he was young till now. Especially the recent ones of Chris and his lackeys trying to kill him, that mont kept replaying in his mind over and over again like a broken record.
‘I want revenge… I want them to pay… I want them to suffer… I WANT THEM TO GROVEL AT MY FEET AND BEG FOR RCY! I WANT THEM TO SCREAM IN PAIN AND AGONY! I WANT THEM DEAD!’ Jace scread in his mind and it was at that mont that another thought appeared in his mind like a command. With cold and determined eyes, Jace uttered two words. Words that would change his life forever.
