At the academy.
Since the academy festival had been forcibly ended due to yesterday's attack, we decided to clean up and tidy up the decorations and equipnt related to the academy festival. Not only did the Elevrad mbers decide to clean up the equipnt, but the other students also decided to help clean up. They also helped clean up the academy grounds, which were filthy from yesterday's attack.
anwhile, many knights were patrolling and guarding the academy to prevent another attack like yesterday's. Moreover, many of the knights were gathered near Charles and Chloe.
"It seems those knights are keeping a very tight guard on you," I said.
I was currently cleaning up equipnt, such as the damaged booths, with Charles and Chloe. So I also noticed that many knights were around us.
"It seems like Mother ordered the knights to keep us under close guard," Charles said.
"But Mother shouldn't have done this," Chloe said.
"Doesn't that an Her Majesty cares about you guys very much? She doesn't want anything to happen to you again," I said.
"Well, even so, this treatnt makes
uncomfortable, Rid," said Charles.
"I feel uncomfortable too," said Chloe.

One of the people holding the Artifact handed it to Miss Karina. Miss Karina accepted it and imdiately pointed it toward the front of the destroyed academy lobby. I sensed Miss Karina expending so of her mana as she held the Artifact. Slowly, the academy lobby began to recover. Several other Artifact holders also helped restore the building by pointing their Artifacts at it. Then the academy lobby building began to recover more quickly, finally completely restored to its original state before the attackers attacked yesterday.
"That Artifact seems to be the sa type of Artifact usually installed in tournant arenas, and it functions to restore the tournant arena if it is damaged. It seems like it can restore any damaged object. But the more severe the damage, the more mana it requires to repair it. before. Even so of the people who had been helping Miss Karina repair the academy lobby seed to be watching .
I turned to look at the people I felt were watching . Chloe, seeing
turn around, beca curious and asked .
"What's wrong, Rid?" Chloe asked.
"Nothing. I just felt like several people were watching , one of them being this knight I'm looking at," I said, looking at the soldier.
"Hmm, I see," Chloe said.
Chloe then walked over to the knight ??I ntioned earlier.
"Hello, sir knight," Chloe said.
"Uh-huh, Princess Chloe, h-hello too. What's wrong?" the knight asked.
"Look, my friend over there felt like several people were watching him, and one of them was you, sir knight. Do you have a reason for watching him?" Chloe asked.
"Watching him? N-No, Princess Chloe. M-Maybe it was just a coincidence that I was looking at him, so he thought I was watching him," the knight said.
"Just answer , I know you're lying. You must have a reason for keeping an eye on him, right? Is sothing going on?" Chloe asked.
"Okay, I'll be honest, Princess Chloe. Actually, this morning I was reading a newspaper published by 'Diganta'. In that newspaper, there were many articles about your friend, Rid Archie. I kept an eye on him because I was simply curious; I had no ill intentions towards him. So of the people who were also watching him probably had the sa thoughts as ," the knight said.
"I see. So you've been paying attention to Rid because there's a lot of news about him in the newspaper that was released today. I'm curious about what news is in that newspaper, but unfortunately, the newspaper isn't circulated among the students inside the academy, so the students can't read it. Did you bring the newspaper, sir knight?" Chloe asked.
"Unfortunately, I didn't bring the newspaper, Princess Chloe. I left it outside the academy gates," the knight said.
"I see. Okay, then I'll go back to tidy up. Thank you for telling , sir knight," Chloe said.
"You're welco, Princess," the soldier said.
Then Chloe returned to where Charles and I were.
"Why did you approach that knight, Chloe?" I asked.
"To ask him why he was paying attention to you," Chloe said.
"You shouldn't have done that, and besides, I don't mind a few people paying attention to ," I said.
"But isn't it a little uncomfortable being watched by people like that? Especially if those people turn out to have malicious intentions. Then, in the late afternoon, Queen Kayana and King Albert arrived at the academy. Caroline also arrived with Queen Kayana and King Albert. Due to yesterday's attack, Queen Kayana decided to take Caroline back to the palace. Caroline complied, as she was only here to enjoy the festival. Since the festival was over, she felt no need to continue staying at the academy. But today, Caroline decided to return to the academy. Caroline approached , Charles, and Chloe, who had just finished cleaning up the booths that had been damaged by the attackers yesterday.
"Hey, Brother Rid, you're in the newspaper today. There's a lot of news about you in the newspapers," Caroline said.
"I already know about that, Carol," I said.
"Even though you know, you haven't seen the newspaper in person, have you? Because it's not circulated among the students at this academy. Thank
for bringing you this," Caroline said, holding up a newspaper.
"Here, do you want to read it?" Caroline asked.
"Okay," I said.
"Is it just , or is Caroline getting closer to ?" I thought.
Well, I didn't think much of it. Then Caroline handed
the newspaper, and I started reading it. Charles and Chloe also read the newspaper.
"It's true, this newspaper has a lot of news related to Rid. There are even many photos of Rid in this newspaper. It ntions that a first-year student at San Fulgen Academy nad Rid Archie made a significant contribution to fighting a group that attacked the academy," said Charles.
"You're amazing, Rid. You were even called a 'hero' in this newspaper. And I just found out that you also protected
