Gray could be seen laying on his bed, dozing off as he stared at the roof. His mind was recalling the recent conversation he had just had with Ruby.
"I can't fall asleep..." He muttered.

"What's your planet like? The one you're from?" Gray asked as he stared up at the moon.
"I'm not sure how to explain it... It's sort of like this one. The air is breathable without any need to use abilities. It's split into five continents. There are kingdoms and war, but also peace and harmony. The structure and everything is completely different though... For example..."
She seed to enjoy explaining what her hotown was like.
Based on her descriptions, Gray got an eastern vibe from it. The technology wasn't nearly as advanced as this world's one but there were still engines and other bonuses which could be acquired through the benefits of so of their abilities.
Most of the people there had abilities, it was pretty much a fantasy-like world.
Or at least, that's what Gray understood from it.
"Are the horned ones, the only race there?"
"Horned ones?"
"Yeah, that's the na us humans have given you race."
She shook her head, before saying. "Hm~ Well it has a nice touch."
'It does?'
"To answer your question, not really. There are blood suckers, wolf man. Quite a few others. Truthfully, I haven't encountered many. I've been in our kingdom for as long as I can rember... In fact, coming to your planet is one of the few tis I've left."
"Is that so..." Gray muttered, before turning to her. "Just a while ago you told to save your planet, from impending doom. What exactly am I saving your planet from?
The instant he asked, her expression beca more puzzled as she nervously looked away.
"I'm not sure... My father would never tell , most of us don't know and those who do keep it to themselves."

After confirming it, Gray swiped once more and now there were no screens ahead of him. He had checked everything he needed. Currently, he had no plans to buy anything since he had no money.
He also didn't have a specific way of making money. Whether dollars could be exchanged into currency in the system or not was still unknown.
Regardless, he was tired. It was a long day, he wanted to go to sleep and wake up with the evolution completed.
But before that, there was still sothing left to do.
Gray opened his pouch, before pulling out a large red book.

"System, what is this...? Why did I feel such a strong connection and the need to bring it with ?" Gray asked.

As Gray placed his finger on the edges to open the book, the door to the room slowly creaked open.
"Who is it?" He asked before turning away from the door.
At that mont, his vision was blocked as his eyes were suddenly covered by soft hands before a voice whispered into his ears.
"Guess~"
"Violet." He replied almost instantly.
"Tch, you're no fun." She clicked her tongue as she moved her hands.
Turning around, he finds Violet's face just ahead of his. Her smooth pink lips and tiny nose just inches away from him. Her purple hair slightly moist from the showers and her round scarlet eyes, dazzling as they stared into his.
A towel rested over her shoulders and all she was wearing was but an oversized white shirt, just big enough to cover her bottom half.
Without saying anything, as if he was hypnotised, Gray simply stared at her.
Growing even more nervous as a result, her cheeks grew slightly pink as she glanced away before asking. "W-What...? W-Why are you looking at like that?"
"Nothing, just thought you were cute." Gray replied before sitting up.
The instant he said so, her cheeks shifted from a pink to a bright red shade. "Don't tease ..." She muttered before lowering her head.
'Hm? What's with that reaction? More specifically, this situation...'
