No wonder the sea clans in the North Sea were in such dire straits. The rmaid clan had fragnted into several tribes and even lost its Nascent Deity stage. The last Snake Person among the Snake People was probably exceedingly powerful, but with tens of thousands of years having passed, the sea clans had likely gradually recovered their strength. Thanks to Bai Ling’s explanation, Li Su better understood the Northern Territory’s history.

“What about the other sea clans?” Li Su inquired, hoping they wouldn’t cause trouble again.

“I’m not entirely sure, but the rmaid clan is in the worst state. The others are faring much better. For instance, the Snake People have beco quite powerful, and the recent activities of other sea clans have increased,” Bai Ling explained.

Bai Ling warned, “You should be cautious. So sea clans have offspring with human bloodlines, and these descendants have integrated into the Northern Territory.”

“Oh?” Li Su raised an eyebrow. “Are the sea clans causing trouble again?”

Bai Ling clarified, “The sacred artifact from back then was shattered, but there are still fragnts in the Northern Territory. They likely want to obtain them.”

“The rmaid clan didn’t participate, and they didn’t even have Nascent Divinity stage beings or any surviving royal lineage, so they aren’t eligible to enter the sea clan’s sacred temple,” she added.

Bai Ling continued, and Li Su understood. The rmaid clan must have suffered severely in that war. Li Su felt that the rmaids were probably used as cannon fodder by the other sea clans during the conflict. Of course, the current plight of the rmaids was also related to Bai Ling being trapped. The rmaids wouldn’t be in such a dire state if she were still around.

As they talked, Li Su couldn’t help but be entranced by Bai Ling’s beauty again.

During their ti on the island, Li Su and Bai Ling spent the happiest month together. It was indeed a joyful month. Li Su let go of all his worries, and during the day, he would take strolls and converse with Bai Ling. He would listen to her stories about the sea and share tales from another world.

“Li Su, the Third Prince is quite unfortunate. He didn’t do anything wrong, but he got his tendons torn out by Nezha,” Bai Ling said as she walked barefoot on the beach, her feet touching the water.

Li Su replied, “Nezha was just a mischievous child back then, but many humans tend to view things from their perspective.”

Bai Ling nodded in agreent. Over the past month, she had grown very fond of Li Su. Initially, she approached Li Su to “borrow” his genes because of her favorable impression of him. But now, she was genuinely drawn to him, not in a physical sense, but on a deeper level. Li Su’s viewpoints and perspectives earned her admiration and respect, which positively impacted her overall state of being.

When Bai Ling gazed at Li Su, her eyes shone with a kind of admiration and affection that one felt when they t soone they truly admired.

“Have you succeeded, Bai Ling?” as night descended, Li Su inquired.

Bai Ling shook her head. “It seems not yet.”

“Alright, let’s continue,” Li Su said, determined to persist. So, he continued his efforts, and two more months passed.

“Still no success?” he asked. Li Su’s voice resonated calmly, and he didn’t seem to be in a hurry. Being with Bai Ling was a unique experience, and Li Su had been quite content over the past three months. He didn’t feel the need to rush with anything pressing on his agenda and his long lifespan.

Bai Ling shook her head. “Su, not yet.” Given the circumstances, it seed challenging to make Bai Ling conceive. After so consideration, Li Su suggested, “Bai Ling, conceal your presence, and I’ll take you to the Northern Territory.”

Staying on the sa island was beautiful, but Li Su thought a change of scenery might improve Bai Ling’s mood and enhance her chances of conceiving. Bai Ling accepted the idea, and she wouldn’t be easily recognized in her current human-dominant form. With Li Su by her side, she felt safe.

So, Li Su took Bai Ling on a journey through the Northern Territory, starting with the City of Linhai.

“This city is quite sizable,” Li Su remarked.

“Hey, Li senior!” soone called out. Recognizing Li Su was common, but as for Bai Ling, her veiled face prevented anyone from identifying her. Bai Ling took precautions to hide her face.

“Has Senior Li arrived?” Soon, a group of cultivators gathered around. Li Su was well-known in the Northern Territory, with almost everyone aware of his na, except for those in seclusion or with limited access to information.

Li Su’s fa also stemd from his practice of taking concubines, which had caused quite a stir. He even married the most prominent twin sisters in the Northern Territory, sparking envy among many cultivators.

“I didn’t expect Senior Li to visit Linhai. My Master is currently in seclusion and unable to co and greet Senior. If Senior has any needs, please let know,” one of the cultivators respectfully said.

The disciple of the city lord of Linhai also ca to greet Li Su. However, Li Su didn’t linger in Linhai City for too long, using disguises for the visit as it was mainly for leisure.

“Bai Ling, have you succeeded?” After three months, atop a breathtaking mountain, Li Su asked the question again.

Bai Ling shook her head. “Not yet.”

“Then let’s continue,” Li Su said, resolute, and delved back into his efforts. Several days later, Li Su and Bai Ling left the area to continue their exploration.

The Northern Territory was vast and filled with stunning landscapes, with countless uninhabited areas showcasing untouched natural beauty. As they entered the seventh month, they ventured into an ordinary country.

Li Su concealed his cultivation and embraced life as an ordinary mortal alongside Bai Ling. In cultivators’ eyes, mortal lifespans were incredibly short, especially from the perspective of powerful cultivators. It was as if ti passed in the blink of an eye for them, during a single session of seclusion.

Bai Ling was equally curious about the human world, experiencing it for the first ti.

“Sue, what are they doing, and why are they wearing so much red?” Bai Ling asked as she observed a wedding procession.

“They are getting married,” Li Su explained.

“Married?” Bai Ling’s face showed curiosity, as she had no knowledge of sea clans’ wedding ceremonies. That day, Bai Ling watched the entire wedding ceremony. As night fell, she comnted, “Su, the bride’s appearance isn’t particularly outstanding, but for so reason, I feel like she looks very beautiful today.”

Li Su picked her up and said, “People radiate happiness on special occasions, Bai Ling. Tonight, you’re my bride too.”

Bai Ling blushed. Despite being in the Nascent Deity stage, this rmaid had displayed the most charming and adorable aspects of herself over the past few months with Li Su, becoming increasingly endearing.
