Chapter 612: Chapter 626 Stirring the Water to Catch Fish

In this Newbie Village, apart from the two major alliances, there were also a few lone adventurers.

So, the disappearance of Mu Can and his two companions along with their dog went unnoticed.

Even the mbers of the two alliances didn’t regard those left behind as significant, believing that the absence of a few wouldn’t affect the overall situation.

Thus, Mu Can’s initial plan went smoothly; after consuming elixirs that masked their presence and activating the Array Plate that did the sa, they followed behind the two alliances.

The mbers of both alliances had rged into a single force, wearing new equipnt and armor, radiating murderous aura as they headed straight to the robbers’ mountain base.

The poor Mr. Robber, after returning to the mountain base, imdiately reported to the thieves’ leader, covering up the death of his companions with a lie.

Deaths under strange circumstances among robbers did happen occasionally, and the leader didn’t suspect anything but told him to recover well on the mountain.

Mr. Robber also followed Mu Can’s instruction and inford others about the Newbie Village planning an assault on their base.

This was big news. The leader didn’t doubt the authenticity of the information and gathered all his scattered n to be on guard day and night against an attack from the village.

Actually, these robbers were quite pitiful, stationed on this mountain with ager als and no chance of going ho.

They also had to face harassnt attacks now and then, losing a few brothers every few days.

Now, hearing that soone dared to attack the Mountain Village head-on, they were all howling, eager to show the attackers so non-ignorable colors.

These days, everyone kept their weapons close, sleeping in their armor, ready for the Newbie Village people to advance their attack.

In the freezing winter weather, they huddled in the village shivering.

“I don’t know when these guys will co, I’m freezing to death!”

“This ti the boss said, as long as we kill these enemies, he will allow us to loot down the mountain.”

“Don’t dream, that village at the base of the mountain, even our boss dares not touch, what can we do even if we go down!”

Although it was deep into the night, the robbers inside the village were barely sleepy.

In the past two days, they didn’t enjoy a single minute of peace, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the invading enemies.

Under the quiet night sky, a loud whistle echoed through the mountain, as a sentry among the robbers spotted the attacking two alliances.

Hearing the whistle, the leaders of the two alliances exchanged glances, detecting uncertainty in each other’s eyes.

This did not match the intelligence they had researched; according to the villagers, the mountain thieves usually didn’t arrange night sentries, hence the decision to attack at night.

Based on prior situations, the robbers should be asleep now, but the whistle shattered their illusions.

“Prepare for battle.” Since their presence was discovered, a stealthy approach was no longer feasible, leaving only direct confrontation as an option.

Hearing the whistle, the robbers grabbed their weapons and rushed out, howling as they charged at the mbers of the two alliances positioned at the entrance.

The intense battle ignited within the dark village, but the alliance mbers were prepared for a night battle, each arm tied with a white cloth to avoid friendly fire in the darkness.

The number of robbers was more than double that of the alliance mbers, but under the pitch-black conditions, a greater number didn’t necessarily an an advantage.

The mbers of the two alliances, equipped with armor and other gear obtained in Newbie Village, were also skilled enough to face the robbers in close combat.

The front of the village was chaotic, with both sides clashing in a turmoil resembling a giant vortex, the situation completely uncontrollable.

Unnoticed, three n and a dog, utilizing the cover of night and the Array, stealthily infiltrated the village.

“True God, we actually made it!” Ye Feng looked at Mu Can with an admiring expression.

Under normal circumstances, sneaking into the village would require Mu Can to substantially increase his strength, but now they were easily slipping in amidst the chaotic battle.

“Co on, let’s find our lovely informant.” Mu Can, leading the others, quickly moved through an entrance toward the interior of the village, pressed for ti as the battle outside could end at any mont, potentially exposing them.

In a corner, they t the eagerly awaited Mr. Robber.

They first handed him an antidote, which Mr. Robber quickly consud. Without the poison in his system, it’s doubtful he would’ve cooperated with Mu Can and his group.

“Quickly, take us to the Treasure Room.” Ye Feng spoke to Mr. Robber.

Having infiltrated successfully, his heart was racing, eager to witness the treasures of the robbers.

The pitiful Mr. Robber, now caught in their sche, could only obediently lead Mu Can and the other two towards a hidden spot within the mountain base.

Even among all the robbers, fewer than a handful knew about this private Treasure Room, discovered only through a serendipitous twist by Mr. Robber about the leader’s personal treasury.

Leading the three to a large boulder, Mr. Robber pointed and spread his hands, “Here it is, but I don’t know how to get inside.”

“I’ll handle this.” Ye Feng volunteered, as an assassin who was also an expert in chanical Technique.

Unfortunately, after circling the massive rock several tis and knocking on it, he still couldn’t find a way inside.

“You’re not playing us, are you?” Failing to find an entrance, Ye Feng looked askance at Mr. Robber.

“How could I be? It’s right here.” Mr. Robber himself climbed onto the rock, tapping and knocking, but still couldn’t discover an entrance.

“Stop knocking, it’s an Array.” Wang Cai stood up, his paws behind his back, looking disdainfully at the two on the rock while declaring.

“Oh!” Ye Feng obediently climbed down from the rock, glanced at Wang Cai, and stepped aside.

Professional matters required professional skill, and since it wasn’t a chanical gimmick, he was powerless.

Wang Cai circled the rock for so ti, then walked to a nearby tree and lifted his leg to urinate.
