326: Chapter 227 Peeing on a Rock 326: Chapter 227 Peeing on a Rock Through communicating with Wang Cai, Mu Can seed to have resolved the greatest puzzle in his heart.

Yet another question slowly erged in his mind—if a war of resistance against an invasion truly took place in the distant past of the Three Realms, then why is there not even a trace of it in the entire history of the Mortal World, not even in legends?

If such a war had indeed occurred, it must have been a world-shaking conflict.

What could be the reason that everything about it was buried under the annals of history?

And why did all the Alchemists in the Mortal World disappear mysteriously?

What connection could there be between these events?

Mu Can didn’t know, but his heart brimd with curiosity.

Although all of this had nothing to do with his own interests, Mu Can was exceedingly eager to uncover the truth.

Curiosity is one of the driving forces for a Cultivator’s progress.

Mu Can shook his head, casting aside these overly distant matters from his thoughts.

His current goal was straightforward—to pass all the trials of Tongshen Mountain.

Only by doing so could he uncover the secrets that Tongshen Mountain hid, and he believed, emphatically, that the secrets of Tongshen Mountain must be tied to the entire Immortal Ancient Secret Realm.

“It’s nothing more.” The yellow-robed Donghuang lightly waved his sleeve, watching as the last Chess piece fell directly into the enemy’s camp, slaying the enemy’s commander with a strike, and casually remarked.

The entire giant platform, transford into a Chessboard, shattered in an instant, turning into a streak of red energy which Donghuang absorbed into his body.

“If this is the only difficulty of the trial, then the final test will definitely be mine.” Donghuang flicked his sleeve and continued striding up the stone steps, as if the previous trials were as simple to him as eating and drinking.

“Heh heh, trying to make things difficult for ?”

A skinny old man gently took off one of his shoes and carelessly tossed it into the boundless sea before him.

The shoe expanded in the wind, instantly turning into the shape of a large ship.

“Cough cough, thankfully I don’t have stinky feet.” The skinny old man shook his head, boarded the ship, and the ship sailed through the waves towards the distance.

A leaf fluttered down onto the surface of the sea and imdiately sank beneath the waves—it turned out to be a drowning sea.

Yet even such a sea could not cause the ship to lower in the slightest; in a brief mont, the ship had arrived at the other shore.

Just as the skinny old man stepped onto the shore, the vast ocean disappeared before his eyes, transforming into a red light that entered the skinny old man’s body.

“The Power of Gluttony is indeed delicious.” The skinny old man took a satisfying breath and then remarked in reflection.

If Mu Can were here, he would certainly exclaim out loud, because this old man was Dongfeng Shuo, who had entered the Secret Realm with him.

It has to be said, Tongshen Mountain is simply the safest place within the Immortal Ancient Secret Realm.

Since none of the trials posed any risk to life, they varied according to the different levels of Cultivators, creating different types of challenges tailored to the individual.

They were designed to push one to their limits without causing panic, but the rewards varied—undoubtedly, the stronger you were, the better the rewards you received.

So even passed the trial effortlessly without even a fine strand of red light erging.

In the First Layer of Tongshen Mountain’s trials, no one was eliminated, though so were stopped by the Gatekeeper, whose interception weeded out those with feeble strength and intellect.

Because the initial Gatekeeper’s challenge could be passed without fighting, it offered those of lesser power a chance to succeed.

The thod of passing was simple: pose a question the Gatekeeper could not answer.

Nevertheless, about two hundred or so people failed the challenge and had to reappear at the foot of Tongshen Mountain, staring enviously at others seizing their fortunes.

Mu Can didn’t know that his two acquaintances, Donghuang and Dongfeng Shuo, had already perfectly passed the first stage of the trial.

He was currently busy with sothing—furiously hamring the large rock that previously emitted red light.

Anyone passing by would surely be dumbfounded to see this.

“Co out, co out,” Mu Can muttered with a chuckle as he rhythmically knocked on the large rock, its upper surface resembling a giant platform.

If Purple Cloud knew what Mu Can was doing now, she would watch him with a smile and then tell him, “You’re becoming more and more like soone.”

“Who?”

“Wang Cai.”

It might be because of his prolonged exposure to influence; spending a lot of ti with Wang Cai, his personality had been partly influenced.

Mu Can had only seen two beams of red light erge from the huge rock and started banging on the rock during his rest.

“No way, there has to be sothing in this rock.” Seeing that his efforts were to no avail, Mu Can scratched his head, his face full of confusion and incomprehension.

“I refuse to believe this is just an ordinary rock.”

Mu Can had tried to move the rock before but discovered that it seed rooted in place as if it had grown there.

Even when he exerted all his strength, he couldn’t shake the rock in the slightest, let alone his knocking, which also failed to leave a mark on the rock.

“If you don’t co out, I’m going to pee on you.” Mu Can frowned and ca up with a plan, pretending to undo his trousers and prepared to relieve himself on the rock in a burst.

“Cough cough, don’t go too far.” A voice ca from the rock, scaring Mu Can into a startle, and the hand about to undo his trousers was retracted.

“Heh heh, I knew it, you’re definitely not an ordinary rock.” Mu Can chuckled as he looked at the rock.

He had managed to force it out after all.

The rock Mu Can was examining felt increasingly like the platform he encountered during the trial.

In Tongshen Mountain, nothing adhered to logic; the Suru mustard seed’s Array was used to the utmost.

Who could say for sure that a rock couldn’t contain a space the size of several football fields inside of it.

“Spit it out, what do you really want?” The voice from the rock, which had the honest and magnetic tone of a middle-aged man, reminiscent of the host of an animal docuntary, took on an irritated edge at present.

It’s understandable; if soone was about to urinate on you, you probably wouldn’t be much calr than him.

“Senior, I just want to know a few questions.” Seeing that the rock was cooperating, Mu Can imdiately spoke up.

“Seems I have no choice but to satisfy your curiosity, but there are so questions I cannot answer.” The rock knew that if it didn’t deal with Mu Can’s questions, this kid might genuinely pull down his trousers and pee on it.

Actually, it slightly misjudged Mu Can; Mu Can was just bluffing.

After all, such uncivilized behavior was not Mu Can’s style.
