504 The devils' nightmare
The devils turned their heads to look towards the distance when their conversation was interrupted. Amidst the rustling of wild grass, a tall and lean young man approached them. His gaze was chilly as he raised his head to look towards the malevolent looking devils.
It was only a gaze but the devils felt like they had seen the most scariest creature in this world. Their bodies involuntary trembled as their eyes t with Zhan Chen's.
Zhan Chen ignored the horrified devils and appeared infront of the three girls who were tied to a tree. A frown appeared on his face as he observed their ntal state.
"You have been through a lot. Just sleep for a while. Your bodies will be fine when you wake up", he spoke softly.
The three girls wanted to say sothing out of gratitude but their consciousness blurred before they could say anything. They felt sothing warm embraced their soul as they fell into deep sleep.
Zhan Chen treated the wounded girls one by one. His gaze beca more frosty as he observed all kind of bruises and wounds all over the three girls' bodies.
They had fractures in many of their bones. Their legs and hands were missing flesh in many parts. It was horrifying just to look at. He couldn't even imagine how the three girls bear such kind of torture. He took out few dicinal pills from his spatial ring and fade the girls. Then he used his own essence energy to help them digest the dicinal pill.
The devils snapped out of their fear after a while when Zhan Chen was treating the three girls. All of them looked towards eachother and communicated with their eyes.
They always act as a group even when they were in their ho land. So, there was tacit understanding between them although they had not spoken a single word.
Within monts after their eye contact, all five of them started to run in different directions. They tried with all of their might to get away from Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen didn't even bother to turn his head. He released his overbearing soul aura and the five devils froze in their respective tracks. All of their eyes beca wide with horror and disbelief as they felt the overbearing aura restraining their movent.
Soul aura of a sage! All the devils present had vast exposure. So, they imdiately knew what kind of soul aura restraining them. If they were ignorant about the soul aura of a sage, they would have felt better. Because of their experience with the devil sages, they knew exactly what kind of existence they were facing at the mont. Their heart gradually filled with dread and despair as they watched Zhan Chen treating the three human girls.
Zhan Chen turned around after treating all the three girls. His gaze was chilly as he looked towards the malevolent looking devils.
"So, you enjoy tasting human flesh! No, it is not only human flesh rather you enjoy tasting flesh of all kind of creatures. Even soti you can't help yourselves but taste flesh of your own kinds", Zhan Chen spoke slowly. All the five devils shivered when his chilly gaze fell upon their bodies.
"I will let you enjoy so more flesh. You will eat flesh untill all of your deaths", Zhan Chen spoke. A ruthless glint appeared in his eyes as he looked towards one of the devils.
The devil's eyes beca clouded for a mont before turning normal. Now, he had a reverent expression on his face as he looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Master", he knelt down imdiately to show his respect.
"Taste the flesh of all four of your companions. I want you to treat them like you have treated those three young girls", Zhan Chen spoke. His eyes were chilly as he looked towards all the five devils.
"No!", It was the first response from the devil who got attacked by his companion. He tried to turn away his body but to his utter horror, he couldn't move his body even an inch. He watched with shock and terror as his companion tore away a piece of his arm and started to devour the piece of his flesh right away.
"Zou Kui, co back to your sense. How can you harm our brothers like this?", a devil shouted from afar after gathering all the courage he had at this mont. He didn't dare to look towards Zhan Chen's direction. So, he could only talk sense to his companion.
The devil slave of Zhan Chen, Zou Kui got disturbed by his companion's high pitched voice. He turned to look towards his companion who was shouting.
"Master has told to treat you all like we are playing with the human girls. Don't disturb at this mont", the devil spoke. He was feeling very uncomfortable at this mont like soone was squeezing his heart. But he knew, he couldn't go against Zhan Chen's order. Despite their years of camaraderie, he continued to tear away the flesh of his companion.
"Ahhh", the devil shriked when Zou Kui ripped another piece of his flesh from the wounded area. Zou Kui didn't go for a fresh location rather he chose to attack the wounded area where he had attacked earlier.
It was a thod to enhance the pain. Devils were enjoying the shrieks of young girls just a while ago. Now table had turned with Zhan Chen's appearance. Now, it was ti for them to shriek instead.
No one who knew Zhan Chen in his past life would imagine that Zhan Chen could torture soone in such a cold blooded fashion. He was like a sunshine with a noble heart who only ward the heart of anyone he had co across.
He had tried to forgive his enemies in his past life. He wouldn't go for a kill if it was not inevitable. But coming to this life, Zhan Chen had already saw through the true colour of the world. He looked towards the tortured devils with an indifferent expression on his face.
'Reap what you sow. Sympathy is only for those who are deserving', he thought to himself. Such torture continued for half an hour before Zhan Chen told Zou Kui to stop.
"Co closer. I want to take a look at your mories", Zhan Chen spoke. He placed his hand on top of Zou Kui's head and took a peek at his mories.
"So, you have choosen the Red wood town as your forward base. There are two Law glimpse realm devils who are protecting the town in secret", Zhan Chen muttered after seeing through the mories of Zou Kui. All the five devils including Zou Kui looked towards Zhan Chen with sheer terror in their eyes. They didn't know, how such a freak of the nature born in the human race.
"Zou Kui, kill all of them. You can kill yourself after finishing up your companions", Zhan Chen spoke.
