"Senior, it most be elder Yali who has co to visit. I have t her during the Grand sect competition", Zhan Chen spoke. He had already sensed the arrival of Hu Yali through his soul linkage. Hu Yali had a slave seal planted on her soul. So, he could sense her arrival from a long distance.
"Oh, you are already acquintances!", the emperor looked towards Zhan Chen with a slightly surprised expression. Zhan Chen nodded his head with a calm expression.
"We have already discussed the most important matter. As for the rest, you can discuss with the elders", the emperor spoke. Zhan Chen bade farewell to the Lu clan experts before going back to the Xuantian sect's base.
"Senior, are we really going to let him lead our troops?", an elder asked the emperor realm expert after Zhan Chen left. Other elders also looked towards the emperor realm expert to hear his answer.
"He has already proved his ability infront of everyone. So, what is the harm if he leads our troops? If anyone of you is dissatisfied, you can challenge him anyti", the emperor realm expert spoke. He glared towards every elders present and all of them could only look down to avoid his eyes.
"We have already suffered such devastation. I will not let any of our clan mber to be easily killed again. This ti, I will let two of our tribulation realm experts and five of our Martial ascension realm mbers to follow Zhan Chen. If his leadership quality is good, we can provide him with additional troops", the emperor realm expert spoke. The elders nodded their heads as they had no problem with this arrangent. They could see for themselves whether Zhan Chen was an able leader or not.

"Senior brother Chen", three sweet voices reached Zhan Chen's ear as soon as he approached the entrance of the Xuantian sect's base. He turned his head and found Yin Ran, Hui Ling and Xue Yi waving their hands towards him.
"You girls, what are you three doing at the entrance?", Zhan Chen asked with a smile on his face. He was happy to see three of his won together.
"Senior brother Chen, we have heard that an emperor from the Fragrant Lily sect is looking for you. So, we are waiting to inform you", Yin Ran replied.
"Thank you for being so considerate. Please accompany to the place where the emperor is waiting", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Senior brother, how can you be so formal with us?", Hui Ling muttered with reddened cheeks. As for Xue Yi, she could only take sneaky glances at Zhan Chen and blush endlessly when walking side by side with Zhan Chen.
They entered through the main entrance and walked towards a side corridor. Hui Ling, Yin Ran and Xue Yi already knew where the emperor was waiting. So, it didn't take them much ti before they brought Zhan Chen to the entrance of a lavish looking hall.
"Please co in", a pleasant voice ca from the inside of the hall.
"Senior brother, we will wait here. If there is anything you need, please let us know", Hui Ling spoke.
"Are not you three coming inside?", Zhan Chen looked towards his three won. All of them shook their heads as they didn't want to go infront of an emperor without any invitation. Unlike Zhan Chen, they considered emperors to be extrely respected and revered individuals. Emperors were seen as the peak existences among the common disciples who were not aware about the existences of the sages. So, Zhan Chen could understand why Yin Ran, Hui Ling and Xue Yi were so hesitant.
"Wait here. She may ask you to enter after a while", Zhan Chen spoke. He strode towards the stone door and pushed them open. A gust of wind passed by and the stone door closed on its own after he entered.
"Greetings master", a graceful looking woman appeared infront of Zhan Chen as soon as the door was closed. She didn't hesitate to kneel down as she looked towards Zhan Chen with an excited expression on her face.
"Hu Yali, it has been a while", Zhan Chen spoke. He pulled her up with his hand and looked towards the excited beauty infront of her.
"Master, you are really incredible. I don't know how to thank you. Without you, I might not have been able to be an emperor in this life ti", Hu Yali spoke.
"You are exaggering. You beco an emperor with your own effort. Without a solid foundation in the previous stages, how can you beco an emperor?", Zhan Chen asked.
"Master, without your help, I couldn't have entered the state of enlightennt. It is only because of your hard work that I am able to reach the zenith of happiness that day. That mont of fulfillnt leads to a state of enlightennt and finally now I am an emperor after two months of seclusion", Hu Yali explained. There was devotion, longingness and attachnt in her eyes as she looked towards Zhan Chen. She was not even trying to hide her emotions as she faced Zhan Chen.
"Good for you. I have been planning to get back at you for trying to use the bewitchnt technique on . But your wildness win over that day. Since we have got to such a stage, I think there is no need for the slave seal anymore", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Master, please don't. It is not a bad feeling to remain a slave of yours. I want to serve you with all my heart and body", Hu Yali spoke imdiately. Zhan Chen could feel that she was really against the idea of removing her slave seal.
"As you wish. I will not insist then. It is not a bad deal to have an emperor serve anyti in a day", Zhan Chen spoke.
