"That mansion in the middle is the current base of the Xuantian sect", the middle aged commander spoke. He pointed towards a huge mansion which looked most eye-catching among other buildings nearby.
"This entire area is alloted to the Xuantian sect. Sect disciples and the powers close to the Xuantian sect can stay here", the commander further added. Zhan Chen felt slightly surprised by the preferential treatnt given to the Xuantian sect. A slight curiousity appeared in his mind as he wanted to find out the arrangents of the Sky dragon alliance.
"You may leave now. If their is sothing for which you need my help, you may visit our Xuantian sect base", Shui Liying spoke.
"Many thanks for senior's words. If there is any ergency, I will have to disturb senior", the commander spoke. He gave a respectful bow to Shui Liying before flying away.
"Husband, follow . Let's find out what is the arrangent of the Sky dragon alliance", Shui Liying spoke. Together both of them flew towards the mansion which was the acting base of the Xuantian sect.
There was a huge hall in the ground floor of the mansion. All the upper echelons of the Xuantian sect were gathered there. Deng Yue, the sect master of the Xuantian sect was standing in the middle as she heard one of the elder's words.
"Hmm!", she was the first to notice the presence of Shui Liying and Zhan Chen in the vicinity.
"Martial aunt Liying is here", she announced to the crowd gathered.
"Has not senior Liying returned to the sect? What is she doing here?", the elders felt surprised for a mont.
"There is no point in discussing among ourselves. Let's welco her", Ying Chao proposed. Deng Yue agreed to his proposal and flew outside to welco Shui Liying and Zhan Chen. All the other elders went outside along with her and waited for Shui Liying's arrival.
"Greetings senior Liying", the elders greeted Shui Liying. Zhan Chen didn't want to appear rude. So, he also greeted all the upper echelons of the Xuantian sect.
"Let's talk inside. I am curious about our situation in the Sky dragon alliance", Shui Liying spoke. She strode towards the vast hall in the ground floor and everyone else followed behind.
"Martial aunt, have not you returned to the sect? Why have you co to the Jade harmony city?", Deng Yue asked. The elders were also curious as they looked towards Shui Liying.
Shui Liying was one of the most respected emperors of the Xuantian sect. She was not only renowned in the Xuantian sect rather her fa spread across the entire Central land.
Her cultivation base was amazing but it was not the reason of her widespread reputation. The true contributing factor was her reputation as a wood elent cultivator. As an emperor proficient in wood elent, she could save cultivators with critical injuries. Moreover, her elental mastery had reached to such a point that she could use wood elent to nullify most of the poisons. So, it could only be called as a blessing if Shui Liying willingly ca to visit a place.
She generally didn't see any guests. So, even the Xuantian sect cultivators considered themselves lucky if she visit them.
"Let be clear. I am here only for him. I will stay in the Jade harmony city as long as he participates in this war", Shui Liying spoke.
The Xuantian sect elders looked towards Zhan Chen with a hint of surprise on their faces. They couldn't believe that the always aloof, peak master of the Serene bamboo peak would go to such a length for a junior.
"What is his relationship with senior Liying?", almost all of them though the sa question in their heads. Even Deng Yue herself was completely surprised after she heard Shui Liying's words. She was aware about Shui Liying's dislike towards the n as a whole. So, it was a surprise for her after seeing how attached Shui Liying was to Zhan Chen.
"Martial aunt, it ans you will be staying in the Jade harmony city for a longer period?", she asked Shui Liying for confirmation.
"Yes", Shui Liying nodded.
"It is assuring. With your presnce, our sect's standing in the Jade harmony city will improve", Deng Yue spoke.
"Sect master is right. It is reassuring to have senior Liying here", the elders agreed unanimously. They could get treatnt now even if they were critically injured. So, they were indeed happy to have Shui Liying in their base.
"Hmm!", Zhan Chen felt few powerful auras approaching the base of the Xuantian sect. Shui Liying and Deng Yue noticed the sa after few monts.
"Second princess! Is she here after finding out the arrival of martial aunt?", Deng Yue muttered. Her voice was not loud. So, everyone could hear her words.
"Don't guess wildly. Let's see what does she want from us", Shui Liying calmly spoke.
"Okay. Invite her in", Deng Yue looked towards Ying Chao.
Ying Chao returned with a graceful lady and her two golden armoured guards. The faces of the golden armoured guards were expressionless as they followed the graceful looking lady into the main hall.
Zhan Chen could see the flustered expression on many elder's faces as they shifted their gazes hurriedly. None dare to lock gazes with the graceful lady who just ca in.
She was covering her face with a delicate veil, yet her presence was enough to fluster the many Heavenly tribulation realm experts. Her graceful body draped in an azure robe was a sight to behold. Even, Ying Chao who was reputed for his upright manners was slightly flustered after seeing the bewitching figure infront of him.
"Senior Liying, please accept this bow from I , Xie Lanying have always heard about you but never got a chance to et with you in person", the graceful looking lady spoke. Those elders who had doubt in their heads, got clarity after hearing her words.
"You really are like the rumours say. Imperial family really have so capable offsprings", Shui Liying spoke softly. She observed Xie Lanying. No matter how she looked, her deanor and bearing appeared flawless to her.
"Senior, overpraises . I am not capable as my first brother and ninth sister", Xie Lanying spoke.
"Everyone, we can talk later. Prepare a room for martial aunt and second princess", Deng Yue spoke. Despite her fierce personality, she knew how to carry herself as the sect master. She sent away all the elders and gave Shui Liying and Xie Lanying so private space.
No one noticed the veiled beauty was sneaking glances towards Zhan Chen. Xie Lanying fooled almost everyone but her sneaky glances couldn't escape the person in question.
