Zhan Chen looked at Shen Ruyan with tender eyes as she felt asleep in his arms. It was already deep night when Shen Ruyan felt tired and slept up.
Zhan Chen gently took her arms off and ca out from the bed. He unfolded a soft blanket and covered the naked body of Shen Ruyan with it.
Zhan Chen had a urgent expression on his face as he sat cross-legged on the floor. Without operating the Celestial Yin Yang sutra, pure streams of essence energy poured out from the divine Yin Yang symbol which was located above his dantian.
Currently the energy contained in the Yinyang diagram was overwhelming as it continued to flooded his ridians. If Zhan Chen didn't utilize such a godsent opportunity, then he would regret later. He operated the celestial Yin Yang sutra and guided the vast amount of energy coming from the divine symbol.
Earlier when he had made a breakthrough to the second stage of ridian opening realm, he had very less yin energy available in the Yinyang symbol. The availability of Yin or Yang energy could be determined from the glow of Yin Yang symbol.
Fortunately, the yin energy he had absorbed in the past days proved sufficient as he successfully made a breakthrough to the second stage of ridian opening realm. After providing energy for his breakthrough, the glow of the Yinyang symbol had reduced.
Now after absorbing the primordial yin of Shen Ruyan, the Yin Yang symbol was brighter than before and Zhan Chen's body was filled with energy. Zhan Chen could feel the trendous energy stored in the Yinyang divine symbol.
He continued to operate the celestial Yin Yang sutra and pure streams of essence energy flowed through his ridians. He reached the peak of second stage of ridian opening realm in no ti. The divine Yin Yang symbol continued to supply pure streams of essence energy. So, Zhan Chen pushed for the third stage of ridian opening realm.
There was description of hidden ridians in The Profound art of dual cultivation book. Zhan Chen had already studied it throughly. So, he didn't face any difficulty in channeling the pure streams of essence energy towards the hidden ridians.
He accumulated a good amount of energy within an hour. Then he pushed them towards his closed off ridians. There was a barrier Infront of the each ridians but the pure streams of essence energy easily pierced through the barrier.
A feeling of comfort coursed through the body of Zhan Chen as he managed to open up another set of ridians. The amount of essence energy he could channel increased and Zhan Chen felt extrely good as he circulated essence energy in the all twenty four of his opened ridians.
He scanned his dantian through his soul consciousness and found the Yinyang divine symbol was still glowing brilliantly.
'It is really a divine cultivation technique. Just by cultivating with a higher realm cultivator, I have managed to gather so much essence energy', Zhan Chen thought inside his mind.
'But I can't gather so much energy from Ruyan next ti we cultivate. Only a pure virgin can provide so much energy in one go. No wonder, teacher wanted to find a lot of girls', Zhan Chen thought further as he continued to operate celestial Yin Yang sutra.
After opening up twenty four ridians, Zhan Chen's cultivation speed increased a notch. The pure essence energy coming from the Yinyang divine symbol nourished the newly opened ridians as they beca more tenacious.
After another two hours of cultivation, Zhan Chen couldn't contain the vast amount of essence energy accumulated in his ridians anymore. He recalled the position of hidden ridians and pushed the essence energy towards their barrier. Unlike before, the vast amount of essence energy charged through the barrier forcefully. Zhan Chen felt a piercing pain in his ridians as the essence energy flooded the newly opened ridians.
'It is too dangerous. Fortunately, I didn't accumulate anymore. Otherwise, the force of the accumulated essence energy could have damaged my ridians', Zhan Chen thought to himself.
He took a look at the divine Yinyang symbol. 'Surprisingly, it still has energy left. I should continue my cultivation', Zhan Chen thought to himself.
Breaking through a stage required more than double amount of energy compared to its previous stage. Zhan Chen managed to reach third stage of ridian opening realm within an hour but it took him almost two hours to reach the fourth stage of ridian opening realm.
Hours passed by and the night sky gradually brighten up. The darkness started to fade as the glowing red light gave the signal of a new dawn.
Zhan Chen continued to operate the celestial Yin Yang sutra. The Yinyang divine symbol continued to pour out essence energy but it's glow started to fade away.
The Yinyang divine symbol was made of two parts. Currently the part representing yin energy was still glowing but the part representing Yang energy lost its glow.
'Looks like I have to consu a Yang attributed pill. Otherwise, I can't reach the fifth stage of ridian opening realm in a short ti', Zhan Chen thought to himself.
The sky has already started to brighten up when he opened his eyes. He threw a glance at the sleeping Shen Ruyan and a smile appeared on his face.
Zhan Chen took a look at the morning sun as a confident look appeared on his face. He stretched his body a bit. Then, he pushed open the door and walked away from the room.
It was early morning but the Firecloud treasure pavilion was already open. Seeing Zhan Chen coming off from the second floor, the managing lady ca towards him with a smile.
She was also staying in the third floor. So, she knew that the handso young man Infront of him was an important guest of her young miss. Although she was not sure about their relationship, she still had to show him courtesy.
"Young master, do you need anything?", the elegant looking middle-aged manager asked with a smile.
"Good morning manager", Zhan Chen greeted with a smile. Then he looked around and saw the various herbs stored in the pavilion.
"Please give three stalks of Scarlet Lotus grass, a ten year old vermilion Bamboo shoot and a blue branch fruit", he said to the middle-aged manager.
"Young master, please wait a bit. I will arrange the spirit herbs for you", the middle aged manager replied and walked away.
"Take your ti", Zhan Chen replied as he looked at the various products of Firecloud treasure pavilion.
