"I have heard that your ancestor, Zhan Lin is still alive. Is it true?", Huang Ruoxin asked Zhan Chen.
"Yes, senior has co back recently", Zhan Chen replied.
"That is good then. I can personally avenge my ancestor after finding Zhan Lin", Huang Ruoxin spoke. There was a calm look on her face but Zhan Chen could feel the deep seated grudge inside her heart.
"This woman is trouble. Ancestor Zhan Lin seed to be burdeoned by sothing when I last t him. So, I can't let this woman near him who has such grudge against him", Zhan Chen thought to himself.
"How many of your Zhan clan experts are still alive? I need to know before doing anything", Huang Ruoxin asked as she looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Why should I tell you? This is a secret of my Zhan clan", Zhan Chen replied.
"Oh, you think you have a way out?", Huang Ruoxin looked towards Zhan Chen with a sneer on her face. Zhan Chen felt anger after seeing the haughty woman but he still managed to supress his rage and looked towards Huang Ruoxin with an unbothered expression.
"I have heard that Huang clan is the ally of my Zhan clan. But I think, I am mistaken", he spoke to Huang Ruoxin.
"Ally of your Zhan clan, what a poor joke! Our relationship was like vassals who can't say no to their master", Huang Ruoxin spoke.
"But ti has changed. It is ti to cut our ties and get even with you selfish bastards", she further added.
"Now, tell . How many of your experts are stil alive. I need to know the details before facing Zhan Lin", she spoke as a torrential pressure ca towards Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen could easily resist the pressure of an emperor but doing so would definitely make Huang Ruoxin more mad. So, he was in a dilemma about how to tackle the mad woman infront of him.
Huang Ruoxin was going to further increase the pressure but she felt sothing and looked towards the sky. An aura more powerful than her was approaching the Rosewood inn.
"Lady from Huang clan, please stay your hand. Zhan Chen is a guest of our place master. So, please let him leave with us", a voice floated towards the Rosewood inn.
"How troubleso!", Huang Ruoxin knitted her eyebrows and looked towards Zhan Chen. She gritted her teeths after seeing the calm expression on Zhan Chen's face.
"Brat, I am letting you go for now. But don't think, you can hide for ever. I will definitely make you talk after you leave the Longyang city", she spoke before vanishing into thin air.
A glint appeared in Zhan Chen's eyes after Huang Ruoxin left. He raised his head towards the sky and saw few experts coming towards the Rosewood inn.
There were five experts who had co from the Spirit palace. Four were silver armoured guards and their leader was a robust looking old man.
"Greetings senior", Zhan Chen greeted the old man after he reached near him. Lu Tai Cang also ca forward and greeted the old man from the Spirit palace.
"Senior, it is good that you have choosen to intervene. Otherwise, it will be difficult to handle the emperor from the Huang clan", Lu Tai Cang spoke.
"You should thank our palace master because it is beyond my comprehension that an emperor would chose to bully a junior", the old expert from the Spirit palace spoke.
He observed Zhan Chen with interest after talking with Lu Tai Cang. "Kiddo, you are indeed sothing. I haven't seen a trace of fear in your eyes even when you are facing an emperor", he spoke to Zhan Chen.
"Senior, you are overpraising . After all, who wouldn't be nervous while facing an emperor", Zhan Chen replied.
He invited the Spirit palace experts to the main hall but the old man rejected his offer. "Our palace master is waiting for you", he spoke before leaving with the silver armoured guards.
Lu Tai Cang took a sigh of relief after the Spirit palace experts left. A worried expression appeared on his face as he looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Zhan Chen, your encounters are becoming more ridiculous with each passing days. When I t you first, you are dealing with tribulation realm experts. But now, emperors are coming to find trouble with you", he spoke to Zhan Chen.
"Do you think I want to face the emperors?", Zhan Chen spoke after hearing Lu Tai Cang 's words. An angry expression appeared on his face as he thought about Huang Ruoxin.
"Senior, Tai Cang, what is her deal? Why do she want to find trouble with my ancestor?", he asked Lu Tai Cang.
"Zhan Chen, what happened to Hung clan, I do not know. But it most be related to the great war that occured between your Zhan clan and the Beitang imperial family", Lu Tai Cang replied.
"I know you have many questions regarding the past matters. But let tell you in advance, I have very little information regarding the past events", he further spoke.
"I indeed have many questions regarding the decline of my past family. But my curiosity of earlier has turned into a necessity after this encounter with Huang Ruoxin. I most understand what happened back then. After then, I can decide what to do with her", Zhan Chen spoke.
"You want to find trouble with an emperor?", Lu Tai Cang blurted out after hearing his words. A speechless expression appeared on his face after he saw Zhan Chen nodding his head.
"This is crazy. What ever you have done earlier does not matter. But here we are talking about emperors, the supre existence who are only below the mysterious sages", Lu Tai Cang spoke.
Zhan Chen could see the worry hidden in his words. So, he didn't refute him. "Senior, don't worry, i will think about it only in future. For now, my sole focus in on increasing my cultivation", he spoke to Lu Tai Cang.
"That is good. Keeping a rational mind is more important for a cultivator", Lu Tai Cang nodded his head.
"When are you planning to leave for the Spirit palace?", he asked Zhan Chen.
"I am planning to go there after a while but now I have no other choice. I want to find out about the past matters. So, it will be better if I leave for the Spirit palace at earliest", Zhan Chen replied.
Lu Tai Cang nodded his head and left the room. All of his won started to pour inside after Lu Tai Cang left.
"Little Chen, are you alright?", the worried voice of Zhan Qingyue ca. Zi Ningxi and Zi Nuan also ca along with her as they were worried about Zhan Chen's well being.
Zhan Chen felt more anger in her heart after seeing worried expression on his big sis's face. It sa for his other won as they inquired about his well being.
"Everyone, I am fine thanks to the Spirit palace experts. They ca in ti and save from the Huang clan emperor", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Now, let's part here. I need to visit the Spirit palace because I need so answer about the history of my Zhan clan", he further spoke.
