"Good girl, it is nice to see you in good mood. Otherwise, it will be a headache to coax a big girl like you", Zhan Chen spoke while patting the head of the shadow panter.
Li Yan, Li Shu and Kai Min smiled after hearing the words of Zhan Chen. Compared to their initial eting, they were now more closer towards the shadow panther and their own magical beasts.
Zhan Chen commanded the magical beasts to move on and their journey resud once again.
Yellow stone city was a border city of the Earth province. So, they were now very close to the the nearby province, the Dragon province.
"Young master, are we going to visit the imperial capital?", Li Shu looked towards Zhan Chen with expectation in her eyes but Zhan Chen shook his head in return.
He smiled after seeing the disappointed look in her face. "Dragon city is very far from our route to the Cloud prpvince. We can visit it another ti after grand sect competetion is over", Zhan Chen spoke.
Li Shu nodded her head after hearing Zhan Chen's words. They picked up pace after leaving the periter of the Yellow stone city but Zhan Chen could see that sothing was amiss.
"Stop", Zhan Chen gave a command and the four magical beasts stopped in their way. A frown appeared on Zhan Chen's face as he scanned the surrounding with his soul consciousness.
"Young master, what is the matter?", Kai Min asked Zhan Chen.
"Soone is trying to surround us using numbers. It is not a big deal for but it may be dangerous for you three", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Brat, you are quite capable to notice us but it is too late for you", a voice interrupted the conversation of Zhan Chen, Li Yan, Li Shu and Kai Min.
Two figures appeared in the distant sky and they flew towards the group of Zhan Chen with a breathtaking speed.
"Girls, move back. Keep a distance from . Your magical beasts will protect you in case of any ergency", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Why do we have to move back?", Li Yan knitted her eyebrows and looked towards Zhan Chen. She was never supportive of the idea that Zhan Chen had to protect them all along. With her personality, she would rather die fighting beside Zhan Chen.
"Li Yan, don't be stubborn at this mont. The two of them are Tribulation realm experts", Zhan Chen spoke.
I have my way to deal with them but what is more problematic is that there is a huge number of experts are coming along with them", Zhan Chen spoke.
Li Yan gritted her teeth in unwillingness but she still relented after seeing the grave look on Zhan Chen's face. "I promise I will be stronger. You don't have to protect us like this", she promised to herself inside her mind.
"Go, protect them. You don't have to fight along with ", Zhan Chen patted the head of the shadow panther. The shadow panther had an unwilling look on it's face but it couldn't go against Zhan Chen's command. It moved towards Li Yan, Li Shu and Kai Min with a sulking look on it's face.
Zhan Chen took a look at the approaching sixth stage cultivators. He was not concerned about them but his real concern was the hidden expert and the other warriors approaching them from the distance.
"Who would have thought that they would dispatch am entire force to deal with . Otherwise, I would have never let go those Flower striped sand boas. They are of no use to but they could have atleast protect Li Yan, Li Shu and Kai Min", Zhan Chen thought to himself.
"Brat, it is no use to play smart. Surrender obediently. Otherwise, they will also suffer along with you", the sa expert again spoke to Zhan Chen.
It took them only so monts to catch upto the group of Zhan Chen. Both of them hovered in the midair as they looked at Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen took a look at the two Tribulation realm experts with knitted eyebrows. One of them was at early tribulation realm which was not a threat to him. But his real concern was the other expert who was staying silent till now. It was an old woman who had a calm expression on her face.
"Fourth stage of Tribulation realm. Mid Tribulation realm expert!", Zhan Chen knitted his brows. He was fine with early Tribulation realm expert but dealing with the above stages would put his body on stress.
"Bring it. I can't back out anyway", Zhan Chen thought to himself as a determined expression appeared on his face.
Zhan Chen had readied himself for a difficult battle but the response from the enemies didn't co as he expected. The enemies seed to searching sothing as they looked at the sky behind Zhan Chen frequently.
"It seems like there is no one protecting him now. We will act after everyone arrives ", the silent old woman spoke.
Zhan Chen tried to call out his his sword but he didn't receive any response from the Celestial night. "Damn it", Zhan Chen yelled out with frustration.
He took a look at the approaching experts and a glint appeared in his eyes. "You are not starting then let start first", Zhan Chen murmured to himself.
He didn't look at the early tribulation realm expert who was hovering in the sky but the early tribulation realm expert felt alard suddenly. His eyes went blank before he could alert his companion.
"One down", Zhan Chen murmured to himself. He took a look at the old woman who was his next target.
"Li Yan, lend your sword", Zhan Chen spoke without looking at the three girls. Li Yan flung her sword towards Zhan Chen and he caught it with one of his hand.
"Old witch, how about having a match with ", Zhan Chen looked at the old woman.
"Brat, are you courting death?", the old woman knitted her eyebrows.
"No, it is you who is courting death", Zhan Chen spoke and launched a sword attack towards the old woman. The old woman waved her hand and the attack of Zhan Chen was blown away even before it could reach her.
An attack of the early tribulation realm expert ca towards Zhan Chen after an mont and the body of Zhan Chen flung afar as a result. "Elder Su, restrain your anger. Their is no point in getting angry for a fledgling like him", the old woman spoke in a calm voice. But she still felt delighted after seeing the response of her companion.
"I will be careful next ti", the early Tribulation realm expert nodded his head but the sinister grin in his eyes remain unnoticed by the old woman.
"Is that brat died?", the old woman knitted her eyebrows. She spread out her soul consciousness to look at Zhan Chen who was already moving towards the approaching warriors with a breathtaking speed.
"Brat, where do you think you are going?", the old woman yelled as she chased behind Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen's eyes dangerously glowed as he approached his enemies with a sword in his hand.
The first in line among the approaching warriors tried to stop his magical beast but his sudden action couldn't save him from his fate. A line appeared on his neck before he could do anything to Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen was quick to move towards the next warrior as he kept making slashes at the approaching cultivators.
"Sinister brat, no one can save you from today", the furious cry of the old woman ca out from behind. The early Tribulation realm expert also ca along with her as they chased behind Zhan Chen.
The furious old woman launched an attack towards Zhan Chen but Zhan Chen easily dodged it and moved towards the other warriors who had just recently appeared in the battlefield.
