Congratulations, You Hit the Jackpot!

“She ran into the n’s bathroom and undressed the British pri minister?”

Leng Yejin stood up and strode out towards the door. Once he left the eting hall, his expression darkened. “What really happened?”

“Miss Tong said that the British pri minister had angina, and she was giving him first-aid assistance. But according to the British pri minister’s delegates, he had no prior history of angina. At that ti, the British pri minister was already unconscious. There were no witnesses or surveillance caras in the bathroom. The pri minister’s bodyguards had detained her and are currently interrogating her. Our people are not allowed to visit her. She is currently detained in the British pri minister’s lounge. Mr. President is already on his way to the hospital.”

Leng Yejin turned and strode towards the British pri minister’s lounge. He perked up his ears and tried very hard to pick out her voice amid all sorts of random noises in the background.

The lounge and the corridor outside the room were crowded with the British pri minister’s bodyguards. The more they spoke, the more her booming voice stood out amid the noises.

Tong Lu forced herself to calm down and take deep breaths. During the interrogation, as she faced the endless series of questions, she had tried hard to remain composed and repeatedly recounted what really happened. The only ti she panicked was when a number of guns were pointed at her in the n’s bathroom earlier on.

“I’m not lying. Mr. Pri Minister was indeed suffering from angina. But I did not have Instant Cardio Reliever Pills at the ti, so I could only perform a simple first-aid procedure. No matter how many tis you ask to tell you what happened, this is the truth. Now that Mr. Pri Minister has already lost consciousness and has been sent to the hospital, I understand your worries and suspicions. I’ll cooperate with your investigation. I’m a volunteer at the eting venue. This is my employee ID.”

Tong Lu took a deep breath and told herself not to be nervous. Once Mr. Pri Minister woke up, the truth would be revealed.

Leng Yejin stopped at a stairway entrance near the lounge.

The whole corridor was crowded with people from the British pri minister’s security detail. People from the Diplomatic Security departnt were negotiating with them. The atmosphere was tense. It was unlikely for him to see Tong Lu at the mont.

Leng Yejin widened his eyes and thought for a mont. He then gestured to the room. “Assign so people to guard the area outside the room. Do not let them take Tong Lu away in secret. I’m going to the hospital to check on the situation.”

Secretary Yu bowed and obeyed his order. “Yes, sir!”

He had already heard Tong Lu’s voice from inside the lounge and knew how this ss unfolded. All he could do now was to wait for the British pri minister to regain consciousness and resolve the crisis. ‘An angina? At his age, if it turns out to be a heart attack and gets him killed, it would be a huge trouble!’

That woman was not too bad. Judging from her voice, she was being very coherent, so she would probably be fine for now. But things might change if the pri minister died in this country. She would instantly beco the sinner of the nation.

‘Should I congratulate her for hitting the jackpot?

‘She was about to beco a woman who would make history! The headline would be:

‘Widow Molests British Pri Minister in n’s Bathroom!

‘No, it should be Woman Causes War between Two Nations!’

As it seed, he did not have to think of a way to get her killed to protect his secret. She had already chosen the most glorious and controversial way to die!

At midnight, the lights in the office of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Security were still on. Mr. President had already returned from the hospital. Leng Yejin stood before the railing in a hallway outside the office with hands behind his back. The people in the room were having a discussion. He could hear every single thing they said.

“The female volunteer’s testimony is basically true. The British pri minister was indeed having a heart attack. But now he is still in a critical situation. The British delegates refuse to release her, unless the pri minister wakes up and proves that she did not play a suspicious role in this dical ergency.”

“The hospital says that the British pri minister is in a very dangerous situation. Even if they manage to save him, he might go into shock or have a stroke after the operation. As for when the British pri minister will regain consciousness, it is still uncertain.”
