"Hmm? Oh, there are so who managed to get a 10 score on all the initial tests. But as you know, such a basic talent isn't aweso here, haha. Let's see how they fare here."

Ron, of course, saw Yela looking at Ian's figure standing at the top of the deck where, generally, apprentices weren't allowed at all.

But he didn't bother to explain anything; he just laughed a little with his old face as if there was no real surprise among those youngsters.

And it was precisely so if not for Ian being there. He was the only remaining anomaly in this ship since Carl basically disappeared after that day. Of course, Aurora and Lyra were only half the anomaly for now.

"Oh? Soone managed to score 10 points in all three tests?"

However, although Ron downplayed a little, Yela was still a little surprised. You know, even in the Calvora continent, scoring 10 points in elental affinity and magical aptitude was a rare thing.

And seeing one appear from that barren place was quite a shock as for decades and more, there was no noteworthy talent from that place at all.

That's why Wizard organisations in this continent were already thinking of abandoning that place.

However, since there were still old guys alive who still held so feelings towards that place, the discussion was put on hold for a while.

So, although Yela inquired just out of nowhere, now her curiosity was really picked up a little.

"Is this that guy at the top? Hmm... you seem to like him a lot. Are you already trying to recruit him in your faction or what?"

Yela asked while signaling at Ian's figure already climbing down the floating stairs conjured up by the Silver Gull to offboard the passengers.

Now that she saw his figure clearly, he indeed looked quite handso and suave with so charm she couldn't find on any youngster these days.

"Haha... your eyes are indeed as vicious as always, Wizard Yela."

Hearing the curious look of Yela, Ron probably wanted to roll his eyes in speechlessness, but he managed to laugh it off with his signature old smile.

What recruiting Ian in his faction? Wasn't Yela thinking too much?

If one had to say, he was instead already recruited by Ian for over a month now; that too so thoroughly that he was basically a slave.

If Ron was still free as before, he would probably cry after hearing such words from Yela.

But since he was already enslaved by Ian with his Nether Sight, his responses were always inclined towards supporting Ian.

"But I have no plan to recruit him to any faction right now. Let him choose what he wants to do after arriving at the Mystic Circle."

Ron replied tacitly.

"Tch...what are you even thinking, Yela? How can you get surprises from those low borns? Aren't you overly hopeful?"

Just when Ron and Yela were talking amiably, a disocrdant voice broke their peace as Zane butt in with his irritable voice as always.

"In my opinion, all of these guys will just be bottom feeders in Mystic Circle. At most, they might beco wizard; that too is debatable."

Zane said condescendingly while looking at the small crowd of apprentices looking around, gawking at everything as if country bumpking, causing him to disdain them even more.

"It is your opinion, Wizard Zane, and don't call by na. I am not that close to you."

Yela replied with a stiff smile while taking a few steps back as Zane was getting too close to her.

"Tch... you are overly sensitive. I am not interested in four eyes like you."

Zane was annoyed at getting politely disdained by Yela but didn't lash out like always.

Instead, he looked at Ron once again and asked,

"So, why are you here so early, old man? You better have a good reason, otherwise, the organisation won't let you go that easily. But, I might help you if you can offer so good treasures? What do you think?"

Zane asked while fluttering his luxurious robe that was faintly shimring with intricate patterns of ancient runes that pulsed softly.

Although his voice still seed condescending, his eyes were curiously sizing up Ron as if guessing what treasures this old man had found.

"Thank you for your offer, Lord Zane. But there is no need for that as I left early because there was so movent from the forbidden zone. It was dangerous to stay any longer."

Ron paid no heed to Zane's scrutinizing gaze and lightly replied matter of factly. And what he said was true and he wouldn't be punished by the organisation for the early return.

"Hmm? There was so movent in that place? What happened?"

Yela was standing by the side listening to their banter when Ron's words surprised her yet again.

"I don't know. I just felt the movent and left imdiately. My old bone can't be curious of such place after all, haha."

Ron smiled and laughed a little awkwardly as initially he had indeed decided to return early because of that.

"Tch... really, the older you get, the less courage you have. The mont you feel suspicious movent, the first reaction is to run out with tail between your legs. Where did you put our Mystic Circle's pride?"

Zane, as always, admonished Ron from the high ground, his voice dripping with superiority as he imagined that, had he been in Ron's place, he never would have run like that.

But still, his suspicion about Ron getting treasures decreased a lot with this revelation.

'Typical hypocrite.'

Yela, on the side, finally couldn't help herself and rolled her beautiful eyes behind the glasses, managing to appear mature yet so cute, garnering quite a attention from the Apprentices nearby climbing down the Silver Gull.

Ron, on the other hand, completely ignored Zane's reprimand as if he wasn't the one being cussed out. If he was the original guy, he might have argued back and forth, but now he felt that it wasn't worth it.

"Uhum... cough... anyway, so is it this guy who scored 10 points in all three tests as you say?"

Seeing that both Yela and Ron ignored his banter, Zane finally felt a little embarrassed, clearing his throat as he coughed softly and asked Ron again, this ti signaling towards Ian.

"Umm... it is that guy."

Ian had already finished climbing down the floating stairs and was now near them. Unlike the other apprentices, who seed nervous or excited about the new place and the uncertainty ahead, he remained unusually calm, descending at his own leisurely pace.

He didn't rush like the others, not caring to avoid irritating the wizard waiting below.

And with two beautiful girls grabbing his arm intimately and a gorgeous magical Raven of unknown species perched on his shoulder, curiously scanning the surroundings with its intelligent eyes, Ian looked more like the master of the Silver Gull.

"He got quite the presence."

Even Zane couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth after seeing Ian's handso visage, calmness, and unhurried pace.

Honestly, he was kinda jealous as he already saw Yela getting attracted to his figure just like any other girl among those apprentices, a stark contrast to how they looked at him.

However, he was a Wizard after all, and he had his pride.

So, he imdiately perked up, looked towards Ian, and snarled,

"Oi, you. Hurry up and get over here. Is this the place to fool around with girls? Why are you so slow? Do you want to help you walk or what?"

Well, at the end of the day, his jealousy got the better of him, and he seed to have forgotten his pride as a Wizard, bringing his irritable mood yet again.

'Here we go again.'

Yela, on the other hand, was speechless.

Really, this guy had such a fickle mind and an irritating presence that she couldn't understand how he'd even managed to beco a wizard in the first place.

Wherever this guy went, he always managed to ruin soone's mood.

He was at least an expert at ruining the mood, Yela thought bitterly.

'Sigh... let's just save him this ti if Zane tried to do sothing untoward. He seed like a cool guy, and his talent is good, too. Maybe I will be able to draw him towards my faction.'

Yela thought while feeling more and more that her idea was perfect.

So, she suddenly smiled a little to herself at the thought and turned around to look at Ian, curious to see his reaction, only to find him still walking at his own pace, looking as chill as ever, as if he hadn't heard Zane's voice at all.

In fact, from the way he looked, it seed he had completely ignored Zane's existence, as Yela saw Ian instead looking directly at her, sizing her up like a typical scumbag.

And her small smile, briefly upon her lips after crafting her so-called plan, was imdiately noticed by Ian, who responded with his signature smile, it seed a little.... teasing?

The whole process was so sudden and abrupt, yet so smooth, that Yela, despite being a wizard, blushed uncontrollably at Ian's teasing look, causing her to quickly look away in embarrassnt.
