307 Chapter 306: God amongst enemies
Loud music rocked the central region of the southern province and many people gathered, laughing and dancing rrily. Joyous cries and cheers filled the air as a massive four-headed dragon statue was shown to the world. It represented the dragon ancestors who died in an attempt to stop the God of death and now people were given this as the war deity of the One God, the being that has awakened in Cecile.
This was the way new gods are to be inducted into the order. With each god added, he is chipped into the religion sohow and allowed to beco a part of the story. While this sounds crazy but it works. Damon had revealed the dragon’s inheritance in the face of thousands of soldiers. With this alone, no one would dare speak against it and even if soone dared to, the one church will deal with them as they have always done in the past.
Damon sat in his room alone as he greedily consud the faith power of these people.
When he was awakened by Cecile it was only his consciousness he could barely manifest his power because he lacked a soul but now he is slowly recovering his god’s soul and the more he regains what was lost the more complete he beca.
Even though he acted calm in the presence of the twin Demon lords, he was still worried since he knew too little about these Grims.
“What you don’t know will definitely kill you,” Damon said in a calm tone as his eyes shone with a strange light. He could sense Cecile’s deepest feelings and that of nurous souls living within him.
To be able to remain sane as the God of death who once consud most of the world is no small feat. His eyes which have always carried no emotions finally shivered as he rembered Elsa’s reincarnation in this world. By getting involved with her, he will be revealing his true identity.
“Chaos after chaos... Battle after battle... I have been fighting all my life... When will it stop? Or am I not destined to live a normal life like others and feel the joys of life like others?” Damon laughed bitterly. He felt tired within his soul and right now he was only fighting because he doesn’t have a choice.
Those he started this life with are dead and the few who have survived till now will die sooner or later.

Damon sighed out loud as he looked in the direction of the window and frowned. He had positioned more forces at Olanka in hopes of forcing Klien to attack Naz. A decisive battle was all he could hope for at this mont.

Hurried footsteps rang across the corridor, causing Damon to frown. Now one would dare disturb him outside Rose and the Gravity cosmic spirit and those two wouldn’t bother him unless given a reason to.

The doors of the room swung open and it was the gravity cosmic spirit in black robes and a hood covering his face.
Seeing this Damon sneered in his mind but his face remained perfectly calm.
“The other provinces have been attacked, and the leaders of the attacks are the successor of the God of death, the lone wolf, Armanthos, and the invading deity helping out the God of death. With the four of them leading the attack in the other regions, it’s only a matter of ti before they reach the Capital” The gravity spirit said with a grave look on his face but Damon remained perfectly calm while his mind raced with countless thoughts.
Those three are rated four stars to six stars. With the help of the blood mountain’s true bloods even if the Beyond should attack any of them personally he will find it hard to win.
But then, why are they moving now?
He didn’t think the sin of Gluttony was the type to directly attack the enemy forces himself. Even though the man looked confrontational, he seed reluctant to get involved directly until now. Why the sudden change of heart overnight?

Damon’s eyes flashed with realization as he rembered the threat of the Grim, it beca obvious why Alex moved. If the Grim cos and he remains in Blink’s base, he would only end up standing out, allowing the Grim to find him. But in an empire this big with so many Godly beings belonging to so sort of demon lord it won’t be able to spot him easily.
This is the perfect hiding place and this was also a better way of improving his chances of winning. With the Beyond and the rest dealing with a Grim, it will give Alex the chance to push the attack.
“Smart” Damon comnded with a deep frown. The enemy was not only strong but cunning, just like him.
The thought of going against soone who practically has the sa story as him rising to the top from nothing was just too disturbing even for him. It felt like there was a possibility of losing especially since he is going against soone who knows the struggles and pains he went through.
“I will not be defeated” Damon muttered before looking at the Gravity spirit.
“Prepare, we are heading to Naz. The enemy will most likely appear there” Damon said and The gravity spirit was stunned.
This was part of the news he was ant to bring but even before he got the chance to say it, Cecile had already predicted it.
“You knew?” The Gravity spirit asked.
“I am the one who set up the trap, why won’t I know?” Damon said calmly as he walked over to the wardrobe and opened it, pulling out a white and golden robe as his multicolored hair turned pure golden, and a divine aura diffused from his body.
Golden dragon scales could be seen erging from his body and even the gravity spirit gulped down a mouthful of saliva.
He knew the Draconians were tyrannical but this kid was even scarier because, unlike the normal dumb and brute dragons, he was smart and cunning.
