Superior Di's decision to bolt across the void was shocking, but not nearly as shocking, as raving mad, as mind- bogglingly unbelievable as Palace Master Shattered Star's death! She was so close, oh-so close. The physical equivalent of a single step away from safety.
However, as her severed head, accompanied by a pair of soulless eyes offering irrefutable proof of her death, was clenched insultingly in the hands of Wei Wuyin, the reality of the situation dawned on them all. Most notably so for Superior Shizi.
He had hesitated before the eyes of everyone in the Utmost Unity Mind-Realm, and while everyone was focused on the deeply shocking scene of another Supre Sage's death, he was carrying the most distorted, ugliest, and uncertain facial expression. Since he had activated the Utmost-Heaven Guardian Array, he was the main controller until deactivation, so the others couldn't act even if they wanted to. The bla for Palace Master Shattered Star's death landed partially on his head. If he had acted sooner, despite the Neo-Dawn Ascendant Emperor's unfettered ability of movent, there was no way Palace Master Shattered Star would have died.
"Thr-three Supre Sages!" Zenith Extraction hoarsely voiced.
"No-six..." Zenith Growth corrected. Long Shiya, Superior Duan, Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven, Sovereign Goliath Bird, Palace Master Talisman Star, and finally, the most recent, Palace Master Shattered Star. A total of six Supre Sages.

While the first half was the result of Long Shiya's abrupt detonation that no one could predict, and no one knew the cause for truly except placing the bla on Superior Black Widow for allowing Long Shiya to enter the fray without thorough investigation if she wasn't directly responsible, the other half was the direct result of the Neo-Dawn Ascendant Emperor's murderous saber. How frightening!
"They played with fire," Dongfang Yue was equally as shaken as the rest, but her voice was dipped with heavy derision, "So they can't complain when they get burned."
Those words aside, when has there been a ti when six Supre Sages died in less than a few minutes of each other? Within the entirety of the galactic cluster's history? When?! Even Sovereign Darkmother, also known as Heaven-Saint Gloomdark, and Sovereign Littlefather's death was the direct result of several veiled and precise plans, tacitly allowed by the galaxy's hierarchy.
This...this wasn't planned.
This was on the scale of mortals scheming on continents and planets and then getting counterkilled by their target. The even more horrendous fact was that this Neo-Dawn Ascendant Emperor wanted his enemies to suffer. He wanted them to know-TO KNOW that they were going to die by his hands. He was not rushed. He was not visibly showcasing any anger. His calm, chillingly gorgeous silver eyes radiated a serene and murderous spirit. And reflected in those pupils was the vision of their permanent existential eradication.
"I" Zenith Transformation was speechless. He revered Supre Sages, and only recently was he involved in the calculated demise of the two false Heavenly Saint Alchemists, but that was his largest playground, and he had only joined when it was already underway, supporting Suo Kai-Ming from the background, whose bet was placed on Su Yi's triumph.
In fact, the ga's victory condition was on the number of Supre Sages of the Seven Towers of Heavenly Sages and Supre Sages in general that would die before Sovereign Darkmother's death, including a litany of side wagers. Most were in the camp of one to zero, with zero being an outright failure, and only Suo Kai-Ming had higher than two, while Zenith Refinent was the sole participant that believed the number would be exactly two. Due to Wei Wuyin's act of saving Hong Xuannu, Suo Kai-Ming and the others had lost, leaving Zenith Refinent the sole victorious participant in a ga spanning over several centuries.
If not for this, and while they had so greed toward Su Yi's secrets, they would have never allowed him to go free. They were the current generation's Zeniths, the wealthiest figures in the Holy Void of Fortune, and they could easily gather multiple Supre Sages, Supre Seers, Supre Oracles, Supre everything if they really desired Su Yi's secrets at all costs.
But unreliable secrets of reincarnation were far less valuable than the ga's victorious reward in their eyes.
Wei Wuyin wouldn't have been able to stop them in the slightest. In fact, they wouldn't have kept protecting Su Yi by allowing the established limits on the Incinerated Dominion's entry. A re Dominion? They had several Supre Sages as Dao Enforcers, two of which were Superior Sages, and even then, putting aside breaching it, any of them had the monetary ans and authority to hire or field a Cardinal Sage or Daoseed Seeker to destroy it or extract Su Yi from within.
After all, what was a little money?
All their cultural traditions of playing the heavens aside, the deaths of six Supre Sages were unprecedented!

After living for over two million years, enjoying great wealth, revered strength, gorgeous won, heavenly authority, and exciting adventures, his desire to live longer was far greater than any re mortal could ever imagine-EVER!
And if he outlived his loved ones, he would often leverage his grand strength to extract their mories and Sea of Consciousness, direct their soul reincarnation into his region, locate their cleansed soul in infants, and imbue their souls back with all their original qualities. While this wasn't exactly resurrection on the scale of what the Heavenly Daos performs, twisting ti and forgoing the process of Hell's cleansing, it was remarkably close.

Wei Wuyin's gaze observed the fleeing Superior Di. According to Su i's report, the man had delivered Hong Xuannu's sealed body back in so degree of good faith. This act gained a small degree of rcy from Wei Wuyin, all of which was imdiately squashed after his arrival in the Dark Void to take advantage of his half- corpse state. A re empty gesture to plan an escape route laced with a false coating of goodwill.
However, as Superior Di rushed away, Wei Wuyin didn't imdiately take action. Superior Yanzi and Superior Black Widow stood their ground, standing together in the Dark Void, far less optimistic about the situation, but simultaneously confident in their strength and allies.
Superior Yanzi delivered a brief sidelong glance toward Superior Black Widow and then turned to the silently observing Wei Wuyin. Since this series of executions began, Wei Wuyin had rarely spoken beyond his first words that exposed his acknowledgent of their reasons.
"Emperor Wei," he began with his voice thrumming with resonant qi and spiritual strength, "I understand your anger, but-" Superior Yanzi began, attempting to explain or downplay the situation, but his words were interrupted by a stormy tempest of laughter. The laughter was majestically disdainful, laced with ridicule, amusent, and
anger.
This mocking laughter originated from none other than Wei Wuyin! His voice was extraordinarily pervasive, reaching the fleeing Superior Di, who was already over a trillion miles away, escaping in the direction of his original galaxy, obliterating any unfortunate Void Creature in his path.
"YOU understand MY anger?!" Wei Wuyin's four words echoed out with thunderous booms. A fury reminiscent of the gods; he held not a single shred of his Spiritual Strength back as Little Defiant aided him. The expression of Superior Yanzi imdiately changed into one hit by a stinging pain, his Sea of Consciousness and Mind's Eye erecting several layers of spiritual defense.
"You act against my family! You harm my wife! You cost the lives of innocent individuals, placing their deaths on my head by interfering with my Void Discs! You try to ruin my reputation with lies and slander! You surround my tower, threaten my subordinates! You attack upon my return!!
"You? Hahaha! YOU understand MY anger?!?!" Wei Wuyin's voice reached the ears of every cultivator throughout the Utmost Purity Galaxy, sohow piercing through the Utmost-Heaven Guardian Array without issue.
He waved his arm with a flourish, conjuring three heads. They were the burnt Sovereign Goliath, the rife with disbelief Palace Master Talisman Star, and the pleading, desperate Superior Duan, whose head was recreated after his death.
Superior Duan's head took all of them by extre surprise! Didn't he die from Long Shiya's abrupt explosion? While it was obviously a recreation, it carried the faint traces of Superior Duan's Resonant Soul aura, a sign that it was recreated from his quintessential innate energies while alive.
"...You will regret this," Superior Black Widow's words spread throughout the Dark Void.
Superior Yanzi's pupils shook. This threatening bitch!
Wei Wuyin's eyes slightly widened, bursting with murder. Then, he cald down. His laughter, while maintaining its majesty, began to beco increasingly calr, colder, and deeper. When he abruptly ceased, his cold gaze stared at Superior Black Widow.
His next words sent chills down the spines of every living existence in the Utmost Purity Galaxy, almost as if they could feel just a millionth of his rage, "The only regret I will have...is that I can not kill you all twice."
Clutching his saber, Elent, who recently elevated to the fourth-level Nascent Saber Soul, his eyes darted to the fleeing sand river, who was already two trillion miles away, likely cursing that Wei Wuyin's Mystic Prohibition prevented his ability from Spatial Shifting, and that with his Superior Authority of Earth, it was one of the slowest forces of the material elents, truly showcasing it at this critical mont.
Wei Wuyin sheathed his saber.
The saber howl, faintly echoing in the Dark Void, went completely silent.
While Superior Di was going unimaginably fast, far exceeding light, which would take almost a full year to achieve what he had done in a re few seconds, yet in relation to others in the Superior Sage level, he was stupendously slow. Far too slow!
Superior Di sensed an imminent crisis, warned directly by his Resonant Soul, his Soul, his True Soul, his cells, and the Sea of Consciousness. They all alerted him. Without hesitation, he brought out every treasure, every talisman, every pellet, and carelessly released his Resonant Qi without restraint, executing his strongest defensive art, encasing him in a titan-sized planet that kept hurtling backwards, guarded by the glistening radiance of a myriad of treasures and tools.
Like a planetary-sized cot, he hurtled across the Dark Void while retreating under his greatest efforts of defense. The shell of an earthen planet had 3,000 layers, of similar strength as his ordinary resonant qi ward. He
had tapped into almost all of his power.
And the sensation didn't fade in the slightest.
Wei Wuyin stood aloft, four heads of Supre Sages at his feet, his saber sheathed, and his silver eyes focused entirely on Superior Di. All five of his Mystic Cores transford. Akin to their unity of power when he first underwent his Draconic Ascension transformation, they all took on King's essential power.
His entire body radiated a peerless sharpness as the Dark Void suffered indirect lacerations, exposing the very fabric of ti and space. Superior Yanzi and Superior Black Widow instantly made a move.
They didn't strike!
They instantly gathered together. The woman of Arachnids began to grab his shoulder tightly. Superior Black Widow fueled Superior Yanzi as he unleashed his Superior Authority. Then, they instantaneously vanished, unable to be halted even by Mystic Prohibition.
However, Wei Wuyin paid them no mind. Instead, he began channeling his power into his sheathed saber, causing a beautiful white and silver aurora borealis to leak from the scabbard.
Suddenly, the entire Void reacted. The energies, the essence, the mana-EVERYTHING-began to transform, emulating his will as the world for several tens of billions of miles began to be seethed with saber light. All this was saber energy. Moreover, it wasn't simply saber energy of a specific type.
By an extraordinary influence, Elent was exerting its will upon the Void, transforming it into a Profound Saber ridian, generating a far greater quality of saber energy. What was forrly astral-grade energies transford into energies that could rival Mystic-World grade, and what were Mystic-grade energies jumped a single level. Mystic-World grade essence, energies, and mana reached Mystic-Heaven, while the Mystic-Heaven energies forming from the Dominion formation and galaxy formation were enriched by the aura of eternity, not quite Mystic- Soul, but far beyond Mystic-Heaven!
They were truly erased at this mont, converted entirely into saber energy.
In an instant, Wei Wuyin was surrounded endlessly by profound saber energy. As they obediently danced, heralding their worship for his existence, he was indifferently cold as he gripped his saber tighter.

When the sharpness penetrated his existence, seeking to allow him to experience his final dawn upon this world,
an ultimate end by the edge of a saber, he found the inability to resist. It was almost as if all resistance were nothing before true annihilation.
