The song that rang in Wei Wuyin's heart with nostalgia was a defining, cherished mory that would never leave him.
At the dawn of it all~
We see the stars, the trees, and the snow fall~
We hear the worlds cry~
We see the good fight~
We hear the evil's monstrous bite~
We see all things without fright~
"My sweet and plump boy..."
Wei Wuyin softly caressed his right cheek with his hand, almost as if the warmth of that woman all those years ago still remained. The song, the Scroll of Akasha, the Records of the Magi was simple, yet it foretold the essence of the Magi's ntal Incantation for those of the Magi Commoner level and beyond.
The Akashic Records were fabled by the song as containing the origins of all things, from the dawn of creation to every experience of every existence that has existed since, forming a vast collection of thoughts, words, emotions, events, and intentions that was astoundingly detailed. It was said to be the first and most accurate book of history and supposedly had the ans to estimate the future.
The ntal Incantation was nad the sa as the song and its purpose was to create an Akashic Records of Creation. However, the fundantal properties of the Akashic Records of Creation were limited to the Dao Domain from which a Magi received their acknowledgnt.
Therefore, without passing the Dao Acknowledgnts, the technique itself was useless. However, unlike the song and history behind it, the Akashic Records within the Magi Commoner's legacy was not as exaggerated.
"What a strange ntal Incantation," Wei Wuyin muttered to himself as he inspected the Incantation and its resulting power. It was no different than a Library of Eden, but unlike the Library of Eden where information can be potentially infinitely stored and newly devised, the Akashic Records of Creation, the Scroll of Akasha ford by the incantation, situated itself within the ntal realm of one's Sea of Consciousness and could grasp existential origin details of anything the Gaze of the Magi or you ca into contact with.
At first glance, this was both easily underestimated given the limitations of Dao Acknowledgents, and incredibly terrifying after one learns that upon completing the Mortal Realms, being acknowledged by the Mortal Dao was inevitable.
This was an unprecedented way of gaining complete information regarding anything. The Dao of Concoction should be able to obtain perfect information regarding the origins of any alchemical process or thod, dicinal creation techniques, perhaps the origins of materials and their age, what they've experienced during concoction, and more. It was... It contained great possibilities.
However, Wei Wuyin was still unable to fully understand the extent of the Scroll of Akasha just by rely reading the Magi Commoner's version. Fuxi wasn't lying when he said that the ntal Incantation would be incomplete, as there was critical information missing on how to do certain things. For example, actively seeking out information wasn't included, and only things that were chanced upon or t personally could be registered and explored.
This was like having an empty library, and until you went out to see Mt. Tai, you simply would not know of its origins. You wouldn't even know about mountains until you saw them, and then the information given would be limited to just that mountain and its existential experience thus far.
It's implied that the past, present, and future of things could be recorded within this scroll yet the Magi Commoner wasn't just limited in what they could obtain, they could only record the past. There were bound to be further limitations that Wei Wuyin wasn't initially grasping too.
"..."
When the Magi Noble's inheritance ca next, expanding his True Soul just a little more, Wei Wuyin was enlightened to the differences even further. The Akasha Records could elevate and expand one's ntal realm. To put it simply, it cultivated one's ntal Energies, Sea of Consciousness, and Psyche. However, the Magi Commoner's version lacked the essence of how to do so.
Wei Wuyin had experienced this once before by coincidence or perhaps not. When Eden had tried to possess his body to escape from its tragic fate, Wei Wuyin had 'lived' Eden's entire existence from its creation, every thought it had, every emotion it felt, all the way until it reached the joy at the opportunity of finding Wei Wuyin, a pri candidate to be possessed!
To cultivate one's ntal Realm was the sa as that, living through other experiences and understanding them. While the Akasha Scroll might contain their information, that had little to do with the Magi. Even if you had a book that detailed a specific study of knowledge, it wouldn't matter if you didn't read it and then put it into practical application, either with ntal or physical ans of confirmation.
By living through those existential experiences, the Magi elevate their own and grasp knowledge that was unobtainable by the common cultivator. Few could ever understand the process of a Solar Star's inception and demise as well as soone who experienced it themselves.
It would be an understatent to say that Wei Wuyin wasn't shocked by this discovery. There was a strong chance that Eden's ntal energy type may very well be...
The Seven Source Soul Light had an entirely different aning after Wei Wuyin understood the very origins of the Alchemic Dao and the Akashic Records of Creation! It changed everything!
The ability to read mories... The ability to read thoughts... The ability to bestow his thoughts and mories to others...
In the vast world of cultivation, interacting with mories was either obscenely difficult to impossible for certain low-level cultivators to a great taboo for higher-level cultivators. The foundation of mory was heavily connected to soone's Mind's Eye, which is connected to their souls, psyche, and True Souls, and touching this with their own was not just extrely dangerous, but could cause all sorts of ntal afflictions such as split personality or personality being overwritten.
In the vast world of cultivation, reading mories was extrely difficult if not almost impossible, and even those within the Mystic Ascendant Realm didn't have that intuitive ability as a result of natural cultivation, while those of the Resonant Soul Realm were said to have the ability to search souls, the truth was that mories was simply too taboo and could bring severe harm to the True Soul and Soul if extracted forcefully while if looked at personally with one's True Soul or Soul had unknown results.
This was why, at an almost united level, the entire world of cultivation across multiple galaxies relied on Heavenly Seers, Oracles, Fortune Tellers, and Temporal Reversion to grasp details about events, and the concept of interrogations and torture still existed.
If soul searching or ntal searching existed on the level that Wei Wuyin could perform...cultivation would not be so difficult. Not at all.
And geniuses would be used as tools for those above. Stealing profound understandings of Intent, Laws, Arts, Spells, and more would be rampant, and no secret would be safe. For example, Wei Wuyin had gained all of his suave version's mories and experiences and this greatly thrusted his path of the Alchemic Dao considerably.
Wei Wuyin had thought he was an abnormality with Eden within the Ancient Sealed Regions and Onestar Domain, and this abnormality was only because he hadn't co across a society that specialized in ntal Incantations and the Mind Dao just yet...
"Eden's energy...is it Akasha or Akashic Energy?" This form of energy would be able to contain, read, and divulge existential experiences just like the Akasha Scroll that was cultivated by the Magi.
This ant...
Eden could be considered a living, breathing spirit that embodied the profound powers of the Akashic Records of Creation!!
An Alchemic Akashic Astral Soul!!!
Since Eden was created, Wei Wuyin was unable to understand what type of energy Eden originated from and there were no records of Eden's energy anywhere, even in the mories of Teng Jiangwen and Sage Springfield. While Wei Wuyin's heart was pounding, the last portion of the inheritance, the Magi Royalty inheritance, was infused within him and rapidly expanded his soul once again. Fortunately, his tempered soul was capable of holding every ounce of it.
Magi Royalty!
There was a significant difference between Magi Commoner and Magi Noble that stood out. If Magi Commoner had connections to a limited past, and Magi Noble had expanded past and limited present, then Magi Royalty had expanded past, present, and limited future!
"..."
Wei Wuyin briefly mulled over this before moving to the incantation's differences. There were two new things: the Celestial Eyes of Ascending Divinity and the Eye of Dao.
The Celestial Eyes of Ascending Divinity was the advanced version of the Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity! The Gaze of the Celestial, otherwise known as the Gaze of the Magi, evolved to higher limits of perception, attune intimately with the Akasha Scroll. It required the complete Akasha Scroll to cultivate, and the scroll acted as the core for this version which is why only those with the completed version could cultivate the Celestial Eyes of Ascending Divinity.
The Eye of Dao, however, was not a specific technique, but a type of foundational thod to establish other spells such as the Eye of Immortality, the Eye of Truth, the Eye of Illusion, the Eye of Creation, and everything else.
Wei Wuyin had learned that the Everlasting Spirit of Nine Flas that he had chanced upon in the Four Extre Continent, also known as the Devil War Realm, was a lesser, simplified, and rged derivative of the Eye of Creation and the Eye of Immortality. There was a possibility that the King of Everlore had chanced upon another version of the Eye of Creation to cultivate his unique eyes, deriving originality as well.
However, while simplified derivatives of the spells could be invented by creative minds seeking to bypass the difficulties of non-magi cultivating the main spells, they were considerably inferior to the main spells themselves. The Eye of Dao thod instructed one on how to create other Eyes of the Magi, such as the Eye of Immortality if soone could, for example, like Wei Wuyin, possess a strand of eternity's aura.
In fact, the Eye of Dao might be the very origin of all Ocular-based spells in existence! The first!
He wondered how those books arrived in the Myriad Yore Continent and then the rest of the galaxy. For so odd reason, he thought of an unassuming librarian...
The Eye of Illusion, Eye of Creation, and Eye of Truth were all devised by Magi Royalty at so point using the Eye of Dao. But when he thought of the words Fuxi said to his other self in that tiline regarding obtaining things later even as a Magi Commoner, then those things could have been made by Magi of any lineage besides the Magi Servant!
"Alright! Ti to consolidate and plan out my next steps..."
Cultivating the Akashic Records of Creation and creating an Akasha Scroll was not a simple process. It would take...a long ti...
