...Infirmary...

Han Chenchao had given Pu Sangzhi a simple bandaging treatnt for the wounds on her knee, lower leg, and elbow.

Throughout the entire treatnt process, Huo Feng stood by Han Chenchao’s side, displaying a completely neurotic state.

He would intermittently burst out with a few curse words berating the instigator, anxiously inquire after Pu Sangzhi’s well-being, and occasionally slap Han Chenchao’s back, warning him to be gentler.

As an elder and as the school doctor, Han Chenchao inevitably felt undermined in his authority when being warned by Huo Feng, this whippersnapper.

So, when Huo Feng warned him, Han Chenchao countered with a warning of his own, "If you make another noise, I won’t hold back with my hands anymore."

"Don’t... please be gentle, you have to be gentle!" Huo Feng was often intimidated by Han Chenchao’s warnings, and then he would back down.

Throughout the whole treatnt process, Pu Sangzhi hardly made a sound.

With Huo Feng by her side saying everything she wanted to say, and seeing his anxious deanor, Pu Sangzhi felt that he had expressed all the emotions she intended to convey herself.

Thus, there was no need for her to react anymore.

At the mont, she wasn’t too angry or too concerned with winning or losing; after leaving the field and coming here, her heart had beco calm and unruffled.

Huo Feng by her side was like a treasure, taking her away from an awkward spot and into another world.

His actions were so swift that before she even had ti to feel the pain, her heart was already healed.

So now, Pu Sangzhi was feeling very stable, her face calm. Sotis, her eyes would warmly gaze at Huo Feng, but she might not have realized it herself...

"Alright. The wounds have been taken care of for now. You should try walking later and see if you can move around. If you can walk fine, then there shouldn’t be any major problems."

Han Chenchao put away the treatnt tray and walked away.

As soon as he left, Huo Feng pounced over in a hurry, sat on the bed, and leaned in close to Pu Sangzhi.

"Hey..."

Seeing a shadow coming toward her, Pu Sangzhi quickly reached out to push him, "What are you doing... "

"Sangzhi, are you feeling better?" Huo Feng asked urgently.

Pu Sangzhi shrank her neck and pushed him a bit further away, "I’m fine, just don’t lean so close to ."

"Then, are you feeling better emotionally?" Huo Feng asked again.

Pu Sangzhi nodded, "Pretty good."

Huo Feng wasn’t quite convinced, "Really pretty good? Don’t keep it inside, if you want to cry, just cry. My shoulder is right here, and it’s very solid!"

Saying this, Huo Feng also patted his shoulder, with a ’co on over’ gesture.

Pu Sangzhi couldn’t help but laugh at his silly appearance.

It wasn’t until he saw her smile that Huo Feng was sure she was in a good mood.

True to being his girlfriend, her ability to handle pressure was top-notch!

To be able to laugh off an incident like this showed a great ntality.

"Sangzhi, let tell you, everything that happened today is just a small matter, don’t take it too seriously! There’s no competition this afternoon, right? Want to co watch play?" Huo Feng asked.

Pu Sangzhi indeed had no commitnts that afternoon, and thinking about Huo Feng’s help, she didn’t refuse him again and nodded her agreent, "Okay."

Once she agreed, Huo Feng smiled, "Alright, then co and cheer for ."

Pu Sangzhi nodded, "Okay."

Suddenly, Huo Feng pointed at her, "Let’s get one thing straight first; even if it’s our class against yours, you have to cheer for ! You can only cheer for Huo Feng, just like how these past few days I’ve cheered only for you, got it?"

Pu Sangzhi pursed her lips and didn’t respond to him for a mont.

This made Huo Feng anxious, and he added, "You’re still considering? Where’s your conscience? Can’t you see or feel what I’ve done for you these past few days?"

"Ahem..."

Huo Feng’s nauseating words drew the ire of Han Chenchao, who coughed twice to interrupt him.

Huo Feng didn’t care about Han Chenchao and continued to press Pu Sangzhi, "Sangzhi, you’re not allowed to consider it. If you do, you’re not human, you’re an ungrateful wretch!"

Pu Sangzhi was amused by Huo Feng’s words, but considering there was a third person present, she decided not to argue with him, "Huo Feng, will you ever be done?"

Huo Feng persisted, "No, I won’t. If you don’t cheer for , I will never rest in peace, and if I lose, it’ll be all your fault."

It was only then that Pu Sangzhi said with a smile, "I got it; I’ll cheer for you."

"Sigh..."

Huo Feng then sighed, expressing self-pity, "How pitiful am I, having to beg for my own encouragent."

Pu Sangzhi looked at him speechlessly, with an expression that said ’are you done yet?’

"Sigh..."

Huo Feng sighed again when she didn’t respond, lanting, "You really don’t care about , you’re just annoyed by my nagging, so you’re humoring . I carried you from the sports field here, yet you’re so heartless and ruthless towards , it’s simply too..."

"Fellow student, could you not nauseate right before my eyes?"

Huo Feng had a whole bunch of sickening nattering pending, but Han Chenchao couldn’t stand it anymore.

This was the infirmary, supposedly Han Chenchao’s territory.

Huo Feng was acting as though he owned the place, almost making Han Chenchao want to walk right out.

Fortunately, Han Chenchao ca to his senses. He decided he needed to get these two eyesores out!

"If you’re fine, you can go now. Garden, grove, go wherever you want, just stop making sick."

Han Chenchao waved his hand to send them off, "If you push too hard, I might just go to the Valley Master of Ruthless Valley, you know."

Huo Feng and Pu Sangzhi were well and truly despised.

So, they decided to leave.

As Pu Sangzhi got out of bed and stepped on the floor, she hadn’t taken two steps before she felt a sharp pain in her right ankle. She quickly braced herself against the bed and took a deep breath.

Huo Feng panicked and quickly rushed to support her, asking, "Sangzhi, does your foot hurt?"

"I see there’s a bruise on your right ankle. If it really hurts, we can’t rule out a sprain. We should go to the hospital tomorrow for an X-ray to check," Han Chenchao suggested.

"Okay, thank you, teacher," Pu Sangzhi nodded.

Seeing this, Huo Feng eagerly turned around, presenting his back, "Co on, I’ll carry you."

"No need."

Pu Sangzhi said, "I can walk slowly."

"Stop the nonsense, just get on," Huo Feng replied to her.

Pu Sangzhi: "Really, there’s no need."

Huo Feng turned his head to scare her, "If you don’t get on, I’ll just pick you up."

Pu Sangzhi had no choice but to obediently climb onto his back and let him carry her.

Thus, Huo Feng carried her out of the infirmary, heading for the girls’ dormitory.

Han Chenchao watched the young couple leave, gazing at their youthful school-uniform-clad figures, and he couldn’t help but smile silently.

...

Huo Feng carried Pu Sangzhi back to the girls’ dormitory, making the short distance feel very long and very slow.

Lying on his back, Pu Sangzhi felt the rise and fall of his back and occasionally glanced at the profile of his face, sculpted by the sunlight. At that mont, her heart was in turmoil.

Under the rows of shady trees on the path, the patchwork shadows and the fine sunlight cast upon the figures of the two youths, brewing a sense of youthful affection quietly in their hearts.

Pu Sangzhi noticed Huo Feng was snickering, his lips curved in a handso smile, seemingly delighted about sothing.

Several tis she wanted to ask but didn’t dare to.

Because she faintly felt that there was sothing ambiguous between them.

And regarding this ambiguity, she was at a loss, as if she couldn’t find the words to describe their current relationship.

"Sangzhi..."

It seed as if Huo Feng had been planning in his heart for a long ti before he mustered up the courage to ask her, "Are you, by any chance, 36B?"

"Huh?"

Pu Sangzhi was taken aback.

"I think you... seem quite large," Huo Feng said, taking his life in his hands. "It feels pretty good."

He indeed felt very good; the soft sensation on his back was telling him... it was quite large, and it would be very comfortable to have.

Once Pu Sangzhi realized what he was saying, her face instantly flushed red with anger, and she started smacking his shoulder, "Jerk! How can you be so disgusting!"

Huo Feng thought her tone sounded like she was coquettishly angry and he couldn’t help but laugh, "No no, I’m just a bit indecent sotis. n, you know, full of vigor and spirit, can’t help but have a bit of a roguish heart when faced with beauty..."

Seeing that he even admitted it outright, Pu Sangzhi was both angry and annoyed, "What nonsense are you spouting! Let down!"

"No no... I was wrong, I was wrong."

Huo Feng quickly admitted his fault, "Please don’t squirm around, it’s quite comfortable the way I’m carrying you."

Pu Sangzhi’s face was beet red, "If you dare say another word!"

"I won’t, I won’t."

Huo Feng quickly held back, "I just feel... why is this mont so blissful!"

Pu Sangzhi puffed up her cheeks in anger and turned her head away from him.

"Sangzhi, surely no boy has ever carried you before, right?"

Huo Feng asked with so pride, "Am I not the first? Your ’first carry’ is with , right?"

Pu Sangzhi pursed her lips in denial, "No."

Huo Feng exclaid with a raised voice, "Which darned kid made the move first? Hey, you didn’t have a first love already, did you?"

Pu Sangzhi turned away, "It’s none of your business."

Huo Feng furrowed his brows in thought, "You’re such a good girl, so you probably haven’t had an early romance. Just wondering which darned kid took your ’first carry’, he’s so lucky!"

Listening to him ramble, Pu Sangzhi couldn’t help but chuckle.

Actually, before her family’s downfall, she always carried in her heart an older boy whom she regarded as her goal.

But then too many things happened, and she gave up...

So much so that now, she no longer harbored any fantasies about romance.
