Chapter 955: Chapter 641: Desolate Heart, Fleeting Words, Enduring Love (67)
Although she agreed like this, Yang Su still felt in her heart that Yan Chenqing and his little girlfriend were probably really over.
Emotions are just an upheaval; if your unwavering dedication can’t evoke a response from the other person, it’s truly not worth it. So before you determine that this person is soone you want to protect and accompany for a lifeti, don’t easily give yourself away completely.
When Chang Linsheng called, Yang Su was already in the taxi, and she told Chang Linsheng about Yan Chenqing’s situation over the phone. After hearing it, Chang Linsheng furrowed his brows, “Then what are you going to do? It seems quite difficult for you to be of help in this matter!”
“But I can’t just sit by and do nothing!” Yang Su said, “Now in H City, only Li Weihuan is there looking after him, and you know how Li Weihuan is. Most of the ti, it’s others advising him; since when has he learned to advise others? Forget it, it’s hard to explain in just a few words. Anyways, you go back first, I’ll return after I’ve handled everything here, and you don’t need to worry about !”
…
At that mont, Chang Linsheng was sitting in his black Cayenne car, quietly gazing out of the window. Hearing Yang Su’s sentence “You don’t need to worry about ,” his heart softened unexpectedly.
This little girl finally understands that he is worried about her, which is a pretty good sign.
At least, she is beginning to slowly understand him and understand the significance of her presence in his mind.
Chang Linsheng nodded, “Alright, you go ahead, if you need anything, rember to call !”
Yang Su responded with a sound from her side, and then the call was hung up.
…
Due to traffic congestion, Yang Su arrived at the entrance of the KTV that Li Weihuan had ntioned half an hour later.
Just as she was about to go inside, her gaze suddenly caught a familiar figure. Yang Su furrowed her brows and paused her steps because that person seed vaguely familiar to her—it was Ding Ziyu.
Ding Ziyu probably didn’t expect to et Yang Su here either, as a hint of panic and surprise flashed across her face.
Yang Su gave her a smile, Ding Ziyu pursed her lips, nodded, still exhibiting that gentle and calm deanor.
“Hello, Miss Yang!” Ding Ziyu greeted Yang Su.
“Hello.” Yang Su smiled and then said, “You can just call Susu.”
“Okay, Susu.”
Yang Su said, “Then I’ll call you Ding Jie!”
“Sure.”
“Hey, Ding Jie, are you here to find Yan Chenqing? I happen to be going too, let’s go together!”
“No, I…”
Ding Ziyu hesitated, and Yang Su slightly frowned, understanding a bit in her heart.
Earlier, Ding Ziyu had been lingering at the entrance, hesitating not to enter for quite so ti, but the reason was unclear.
Yang Su had a pretty good impression of Ding Ziyu, even though the two hadn’t t many tis and hadn’t spoken much.
She rembered the first ti she t Ding Ziyu was on Bai Yuchuan’s birthday eve. At that ti, Li Weihuan had specifically co back to celebrate Bai Yuchuan’s birthday, and Yan Chenqing had taken them to a restaurant. Ding Ziyu showed up then and seed quite familiar with Yan Chenqing, and was very courteous to them.
However, Yang Su didn’t pay much attention to Ding Ziyu at that ti and didn’t know about the exact relationship between her and Yan Chenqing.
Yan Chenqing once said she was his sister, but Yang Su thought it wasn’t that simple.
Yang Su said, “Ding Jie, I think you might have heard that Yan Chenqing just broke up with his little girlfriend, so he’s probably not feeling well now. You know his temperant; he always keeps things to himself and doesn’t express them outwardly. Thus, even though we want to help as friends, we can’t do much. So I think you should go talk to him, maybe it would help!”
Ding Ziyu pursed her lips, seemingly considering, and Yang Su added, “Since we’re already at the door, don’t hesitate, let’s go in!”
After speaking, Yang Su, without further ado, pulled Ding Ziyu inside.
…
The lighting in the KTV room was sowhat dim; when the two entered, a love song was playing on the big screen, with no one singing, so the music wasn’t loud.
Yet it was enough to keep the atmosphere in the room, where there were only two people, from feeling completely lonely.
Yan Chenqing was drinking with Li Weihuan; there were piles of beer bottles on the table, seemingly already having drunk four or five bottles—not too bad, hopefully not too drunk.
Suddenly, two people entered the room, and naturally, Yan Chenqing and Li Weihuan noticed.
Their gaze turned straight to co over.
Yang Su was about to say sothing when Yan Chenqing’s expression suddenly changed slightly, coldly throwing out a sentence, “Why did you co?”
