Then, an opportunity ca. A famous company approached them, wanting to place a large order with their small company. The profit from this order could exceed their total profit of the previous year!
Gu Xuehong thought it was too risky. Their small company simply did not have the capacity to take on such a big order, not to ntion the lack of adequate funds. It was simply not feasible!
The two quarrelled over this. Later, Zhou Jingyi invited him for a drink and brought up the fact that he had eloped with Liang Huiqing. Zhou said, “Don’t you want to show your achievents to your mother-in-law and brother-in-law who once looked down on you? Gu Xuehong was sowhat swayed. After thinking over it the whole night, Liang Huiqing asked him about it since he was acting strange. He told her everything, but Liang Huiqing objected strongly, telling him not to sign the deal.
Gu Xuehong said, “Qing, do you know? If we sign this, you and Nanxi’s future will be secured. I can then proudly bring you back to the Liang family and prove that I can make you happy!”
Liang Huiqing still objected, “I already feel very happy now, so, you don’t have to sign!”
