Theo chuckled, clearly not needing much encouragent. "Alright. The Alpha of the East is Alpha Auren Morgrave. He’s second in command among the heirs. The Cold Strategist...mysterious, calculating, and quietly dangerous. He keeps to himself, but don’t be fooled. He’s deadly smart and plays gas with your mind. No brute strength...he’ll break you using only his wits."
He gave a theatrical shiver. "eting him is like eting the devil himself."
Victoria swallowed hard, her grip on her fork tightening slightly. But rather than flinch in fear, her eyes glead with fascination.
"And then there’s the Alpha from the North," Callum added, his tone heavier. "Alpha Darius Fenwick. Future leader of the Lycans. Feared and respected across the territories. He cos from a long and prestigious bloodline....one of the oldest. A full-blooded Alpha, through and through. The Dominant Heir."
Callum paused to let the weight of that sink in before continuing. "He’s ambitious. Ruthless. Charismatic in a way that pulls people in even as it sends a chill down their spine. One wrong move, and he’ll make you regret it in ways you never imagined."
"Basically," Theo added with a short laugh, "if you ever get on the bad side of any of the three...Zephyr, Auren, or Darius....you’ve basically drawn their wrath down on yourself."
’Well, what’s a little suffering from Mirabel or the three heirs,’ Victoria thought, her lips twitching into a slow, satisfied smirk, ’when I’ve already lived through a fate worse than death?’
’Mirabel’s hatred isn’t a threat though....it’s an opportunity. The more she loathes , the more doors she unknowingly opens for .’
’If I truly want to take down every last one of my enemies,’ she thought, cutting into another piece of chicken, ’then I need to be close to them. Which ans... I have to attend this school. No matter what it takes.’
The three siblings ate in silence after that, the mood settling into a heavy calm. It wasn’t long before they finished their al. Theo wiped his mouth and then reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone...sleek, polished, a newer model with a dark reflective screen that humd softly to life.
"We should go now," he said, rising from his seat. "Lucian just texted. He says we can et them in the library. Eldest brother is there with him."
Callum stood without protest, and Victoria followed suit.
They exited the cafeteria, walking down the long corridors of the academy building.
But just as they neared the exit, Victoria’s gaze drifted to the side....and froze.
There, carved in dark letters upon a heavy oak door, were the words:
The Heirs’ Office.
’Those bastards are in there?’ Victoria thought with curiousity in her eyes.
Why not just take a peek? Just to see what they look like. If she got caught... well, she could always claim she got lost. The building was massive. It wouldn’t be hard to fake confusion.
"Brother!" Victoria suddenly called out, clutching her stomach with exaggerated urgency. Her face twisted in mock pain, her eyes wide with feigned terror. "I really need to use the toilet. It’s... urgent."
Theo imdiately stepped closer, concern flashing across his face.
"Sorry, little sister. The female toilet is just down the stairs," he said gently. "Should I walk you there?"
"No, no. That won’t be necessary," Victoria quickly replied, her voice tight as she held her stomach. "You and Callum can go ahead to the library. I saw the library earlier when we ca into the building, so I can find my way once I’m done."
Theo hesitated for a beat, then smiled warmly. "Alright, then," he said, giving her cheek a playful tug. "We’ll be waiting for you at the library. But rember....don’t get into any trouble. And don’t help anyone in trouble either. Just mind your business, okay?"
Victoria nodded earnestly, biting back a smirk as her brothers turned and walked away down the corridor.
The mont their footsteps faded, she spun on her heel and dashed toward the door marked Heirs’ Office. Her hand gripped the handle and to her delight, it turned.
Unlocked.
Perfect.
Her heart skipped with excitent as she pushed the heavy door open and slipped inside.
The air was cooler here. A faint, polished scent filled the room....wood, leather, sothing expensive.
Her breath caught in her throat.
The office was enormous. In the center stood a grand table, surrounded by four luxurious chairs. Every piece of furniture were made of pure gold embellishnts and deep mahogany. Trophies and awards lined the shelves, glinting under soft, overhead lights....debate dals, sports plaques, certificates of excellence. The walls, however, held no photographs of the heirs themselves. Instead, they featured scenic images of the academy grounds, its various departnts, and inspirational quotes from legendary leaders.
"Oh yes... fuck it~"
A moan echoed from the side of the room.
Victoria froze. Her head snapped in the direction of the sound. Her eyes narrowed, finally catching sight of a tall wooden door she hadn’t noticed when she first entered. It blended into the wall almost too perfectly, but now she could see it clearly and more importantly, she could hear what was happening behind it.
Carefully, she tiptoed toward it and stood by the edge. A small pane of glass sat just above eye level. Standing on her toes, she peered through.
What she saw made her heart nearly stop.
Mirabel. Fully naked. Spread out across a velvet-sheeted bed, her hair fanned over the pillows.
Between her legs knelt a blonde-haired young man, his back to Victoria as he gave Mirabel head, his movents slow and sensual. Another young man...this one with dyed pink hair....stood at the head of the bed, his hips moving rhythmically as Mirabel took his cock into her mouth like it was the only thing that mattered.
Victoria stared, stunned.
They’re the heirs, she realized. Two of them, at least. And they’re screwing Mirabel?
Her lip curled with disgust, but her eyes narrowed with calculation.
So that’s what she’s doing? Sleeping with them to stay in favor? For better grades? To be marked as their mate? Or does she just enjoy being a convenient plaything?
She shook her head slowly, a smug glint in her eye.
How pathetic.
