Darius was the first person to step forward, his eyes narrowing as his gaze landed on the board. His na was written in deep bold letters, and beneath it were scrawled crude descriptions in different sexual styles, each line explaining just how brutal he was in bed.
Shock rippled across his features, and just like Darius, both Zephyr and Auren shifted their eyes to the board. Their expressions hardened, and their breaths caught in their throats as realization dawned. The three Alphas turned their heads back toward Mirabel, their stares sharp and demanding, because this secret....this shaful, intimate knowledge of their sex lives was sothing they believed belonged only to the three of them.
The air grew heavy as the crowd of onlookers whispered among themselves, their hushed voices buzzing with curiosity and scandal.
Without wasting another second, Mirabel moved forward. She stopped before the three Alphas, lowering her head as if in sha, tears still streaming freely down her cheeks. Her small, trembling hands clutched the folds of her dress, and her shoulders shook under the weight of countless eyes judging her.
"How dare you?!" Darius barked, his voice booming with unrestrained fury. The crowd gasped in unison as he lunged forward, his hand clamping tightly around Mirabel’s slender neck. His eyes burned with rage as he lifted her slightly off her feet. "How dare you write my na on that board!!!"
"Yes, Mirabel! How dare you?!" Zephyr roared, stepping closer, his voice carrying both anger and panic. His chest heaved as his fists clenched at his sides. "And you know exactly who my girlfriend is. A Luna! Even though she hasn’t been officially mated to , she is still the only daughter of one of the three councils! How dare you try to ruin my reputation this way?!"
"I knew this bitch was going to snitch eventually," Auren growled, his hands resting on his waist as he shook his head in exasperation. His sharp gaze drilled into her trembling fra. "So tell , Mirabel... you’re no longer scared of your brothers and family finding out about your dirty little secrets, is that it? That’s why you’re suddenly bold enough to pull this stunt now?"
"It’s... not ..." Mirabel choked out, her words strained as she struggled for breath. Darius’s grip tightened rcilessly around her throat, her face flushed red as she gasped for air. Her eyes bulged, and her legs kicked weakly beneath her.
"You’re going to kill her, Darius!!!" Nicole’s voice finally rang out, trembling but sharp. Until now she had been too overwheld with anger and shock to speak, unsure of what to even say to her brothers. But the sight of Mirabel’s face turning purple forced the words out of her.
Darius’s nostrils flared as he glared at Mirabel for one last lingering second before finally loosening his grip. He shoved her away with a rough force, releasing her neck so abruptly that she collapsed onto the cold ground with a loud thud. Gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd once more.
Mirabel fell forward, her body wracked with violent coughing fits as she clutched at her burning throat. Her eyes were red, her cheeks streaked with tears, but the overwhelming relief of simply being able to breathe again flooded her trembling body. She was certain that if he had held on a mont longer, she would have truly died.
"You’re going to regret this shit you just did, Mirabel," Darius snarled at last, dusting his hands together as though cleansing them of filth. His face was still flushed with fury, his jaw tight. "And you’d better make sure this rubbish doesn’t turn into a rumor. If I hear even a whisper about this, you’ll wish you had never been born. Not even your brothers or your precious parents will be able to save you from ." His lips curled into a sneer as he pointed a finger at her trembling form. "And you better erase my na from this ss, because I never fucked you. Even when you tried drugging , even when you sucked my cock, I still managed to push you away, you slut!!!"
Gasps filled the air again, the students whispering frantically among themselves. Mirabel’s eyes widened, horror written all over her face, but she was too weak to form a response.
"I’m really going to deal with you, Mirabel!" Zephyr thundered, his angry gaze locking onto her crumpled body as though he could tear her apart with his glare alone.
"How dare you even compare my dick to the size of a pen?!" Auren snarled, his voice thick with fury. His eyes glead with both pain and anger, though his lips turned into a burst of cruel, mocking laughter. He pointed an accusing finger at Mirabel, his chest rising and falling with every heavy breath. "The very dick you begged for?!"
A shocked murmur rippled through the students, but it was quickly drowned in silence.
"Your sister is screwed, Victoria..." Rose whispered under her breath, swallowing hard, her voice barely audible.
The other students dared not speak either. They exchanged nervous glances, their faces pale, afraid that the wrath of the Alphas might shift toward them if they so much as breathed too loudly. The old building was as silent as a graveyard, the tension pressing on every chest like a weight.
"You know what..." Darius finally spoke, his tone laced with venom and seriousness as he turned from Mirabel to the trembling crowd. His voice cut through the silence like a blade. "The school itself can spread this as a rumor if it wants. I don’t care. All I know is this.....Mirabel, you’re screwed."
He then raised his voice so everyone could hear. "Let Mirabel’s life beco a living hell in this school! I don’t care what you all do to her, but make sure she doesn’t die. A person like her deserves to be treated like dirt. She ssed with the wrong man. The one who punishes her the most..." He paused, his gaze sweeping the fearful students like a predator stalking prey. "...will be entitled to a reward from ."
Gasps filled the air.
With that, the three Alphas turned away, ready to take their leave. But then....
"It is Victoria!" Mirabel suddenly scread, her voice cracking from desperation and fear. She struggled to her feet, her body still trembling from the assault. Her tear-streaked face tilted upward, her reddened eyes blazing with a desperate plea. "It was Victoria who wrote your nas there!!! She wrote them on the board to ruin you!"
The three Alphas froze mid-step. Their boots scraped against the floor as they turned in unison, their gazes snapping back to her with disbelief.
"Rember, Alpha Darius," Mirabel continued, her voice trembling but urgent, "when you ca to our house that day? When the secret of no longer being a virgin was revealed to everyone? My brothers, my mother, my father....they were all there. But none of them would ever spread that shaful truth. None of them... except Victoria. She did it! She hates ! She’s the one who exposed !"
"What?!" Darius roared, his eyes widening in utter shock. His chest heaved as his voice thundered across the silent hall. "What did you just say?!"
"Yes, Alphas," Mirabel pressed on, her voice shaking as she clutched her burning throat. "Victoria is responsible for everything! She was the one who wrote those three girls’ nas on the board before. And now she’s written your nas, and mine, too! She’s evil....who knows whose na she’ll put out next?! She wants to destroy everyone!"
"She’s right!" voices suddenly called out from the other students, emboldened now that the supposed culprit had been revealed.
"Victoria is the one behind this! She’s the one stirring up trouble! She really ssed with the wrong people this ti...the Alphas! You should deal with her!"
Darius turned sharply, his blazing eyes locking onto Victoria. She stood tall and unbothered, her arms folded neatly across her chest. A smirk played at her lips as though the accusations were re amusent. She appeared unshaken because she was unshaken.
"How dare you?!" Darius bellowed, his fury snapping like a whip. In a blur of motion, he strode toward Victoria and, before she could react, his fist tangled in her hair. He yanked her head back harshly, dragging her face close to his. His hot breath fanned over her skin as he growled, his voice dripping with venom. "Tell everything Mirabel is saying is a lie!"
"Oh no, it’s not, brother." Nicole’s voice rang out suddenly, sharp and certain, her tone firm with anger. She stepped forward, her eyes burning with condemnation. "This bastard did it. She really did. You should punish her greatly!"
"I didn’t expect such a tiny little thing to pull off sothing this big," Zephyr scoffed with a dry laugh, shaking his head in disbelief. His words dripped with cruelty. "She described every filthy detail like her life depended on it. Now that I think about it... maybe I should have left you at the brothel, Victoria. I should’ve let you be fucked hard and used by those Alphas instead of saving you. I regret it now."
Auren stepped in, his smirk wicked as his eyes glittered with mockery. "And how dare you say my dick was small? Did you taste it before, or are you hoping to taste it now?" He leaned forward slightly, his voice dripping with taunting malice. "Oh, wait....you kissed Darius on your first day here, didn’t you? What’s next, Victoria? You want to taste mine too?"
"Let go of Victoria, Alpha Darius!" Joe’s voice broke through the tension as he rushed forward, desperation on his face. But before he could reach her, Darius’s free hand shot out and delivered a brutal punch to his face. The sickening crack echoed in the silence, and Joe went flying to the ground, his lips split and bleeding as groans escaped him.
