Murder flashing in her eyes, Raina Bell tightened the arm she had locked around Sophie Sullivan’s neck. Sophie, caught in the chokehold, was pressed firmly to the ground by Raina, her neck constricted by the other woman’s arm.
The oxygen she could breathe was getting less and less...A suffocating feeling spread through her...
Her face gradually turned a dark purple. Her gaze shifted to the bed, her eyes suddenly lighting up. With a mixture of surprise and great effort, she gasped out, "Thomas Shannon, are you awake?"
Hearing this, Raina trembled and turned her head to look.
The man on the bed was motionless, completely unaware of what was happening around him.
Seizing the mont Raina was distracted, Sophie ramd her elbow backward forcefully.
Her elbow struck Raina’s ribs, causing her to gasp in pain and shrink back.
Sophie lowered her head and bit down hard on Raina’s arm.
"AH..." Raina cried out in pain. Sophie imdiately launched a counterattack, shoving Raina’s body off her. She rolled aside twice and quickly scrambled to her feet.
Still crying out in pain, Raina saw Sophie getting up and struggled to stand as well.
Unexpectedly, Sophie was faster. Before Raina could get up, Sophie landed a flying kick.
Raina felt a sharp pain in her head. The next second, everything went black, and she lost consciousness.
Sophie bent over, panting heavily. She had almost been strangled to death just now... If it hadn’t been for her quick wit, Raina would have succeeded.
Sophie glanced at the unconscious Raina, then reached out and felt under her nose. Still breathing.Good, she wasn’t dead.Dying from a single kick like that would be letting her off too easily!
Sophie went to the bedside table, plugged in the telephone line, and pressed the intercom. "Get a few people to the guest room," she said.
After speaking, she opened the guest room door and leaned against the wall, catching her breath.
The n in black arrived quickly and were deeply shocked by the scene.
What on earth happened here?
Two won—Maniac and Raina Bell. One lay unconscious on the ground in a bathrobe, while the other, in a sleep gown, leaned against the wall, panting wretchedly.
What was even more shocking was their cold and aloof Young Master.
At this mont, he was lying on the bed, wearing only a pair of black underwear, looking utterly harmless.
"Maniac, what happened?" one of the n asked.
Once Sophie had caught her breath, she replied, "What do you think happened?"
The way they were all looking at her, it’s as if they think I’m here to catch cheaters!
The n in black, however, had a different theory: Maniac had flown into a jealous rage and ruined the Young Master’s fun.
However, seeing Thomas Shannon still unconscious, they realized he was completely drunk and senseless.
Their earlier suspicion was wrong.
"If it weren’t for , Thomas Shannon would have been raped by Raina Bell! If it weren’t for , his virtue would have been lost!" Sophie pointed at Raina Bell lying on the ground. "What are you standing around for? Drag her out!"
"Yes."
The n in black dragged Raina Bell away as ordered. Sophie turned and walked out.
One of the n in black glanced at Thomas Shannon, hesitated for a few seconds, then finally called out to Sophie, "Maniac, are you just going to leave the Young Master here?"
Sophie turned her head, her smile chilling. "Or what?"
The man in black fell silent. ...
Maniac’s tone is off...The Young Master is definitely going to have a headache when he wakes up tomorrow.
Sophie turned and walked away, her departing figure confident and carefree.
The n in black stayed behind to care for Thomas Shannon.
「The chaotic night thus passed quietly.」
Sophie returned to her bedroom and tossed and turned for a while.
