"So, we’re even."
Even?
Thomas Shannon was almost infuriated by this comnt, feeling like he might cough up blood. Calling Lucifer "dear" was so easy, but calling him was so difficult?
Noticing the man’s angered face closing in on her, Sophie Sullivan plunged into his embrace, "Thomas Shannon, it’s thundering."
After the lightning, a thunderclap suddenly exploded in their ears.
Boom—
Sophie Sullivan hid in his embrace, her body trembling slightly. Thomas Shannon pretended to pull her away, "Who am I to you for you to throw yourself into my arms like this?"
"Thomas Shannon, don’t touch ." Sophie Sullivan tightly held onto his lean waist, refusing to let go.
"First, tell who I am to you. No answer, no hug."
"Thomas Shannon."
"Hmm?"
"You are Thomas Shannon."
"Who is Thomas Shannon to you?" Thomas Shannon placed a hand on her head, gently caressing it, with a coaxing tone, "Tell , who is Thomas Shannon to you?"
"..."
"Who ca late at night because of your phone call, unbothered by the storm to keep you company?"
"..."
"Who flew over late at night because of your phone call, letting you hug?"
"..."
Not talking, huh?
Thomas Shannon sneered, "Since you can’t say it, it seems we have no relation. Stop hugging, let go."
"I won’t let go." Another thunderclap echoed overhead.
It seed to explode right above them, and Sophie Sullivan buried her head in his embrace, stubbornly refusing to let go.
"Sophie Sullivan, let go."
"Thomas Shannon, don’t force ."
"If you keep hugging like this, won’t my wife be furious with you later? Quickly let go, don’t hug."
"Your wife doesn’t know, what’s the harm in hugging once?" Sophie Sullivan discontentedly bit him through the sleep gown, "Hugging once won’t cost you a piece of at, why be so stingy?"
"Oh?" Thomas Shannon raised an eyebrow, "So, you’re saying give a child, anyway your fiancé doesn’t know, what’s the harm in having one? Why be so stingy?"
Sophie Sullivan never imagined he’d use her own words to block her.
Sophie Sullivan’s body rolled away, escaping from his embrace, rolling directly to the bedside, avoiding him as much as possible.
Thomas Shannon’s handso face darkened, talking about children scared her this much?
Fine.
Very well, Sophie Sullivan!
Thomas Shannon sat up, ready to catch her, but Sophie Sullivan was already aware, scread, and quickly jumped off the bed, ran outside barefoot.
"Sophie Sullivan, stop right there!"
"Am I stupid, stopping to let you catch ?"
Thomas Shannon sneered, "You’re not stupid, go ahead, run and show . If you can escape, I’ll concede defeat."
Sophie Sullivan: "..."
Suddenly rembering the n in black lined up in the corridor were all guarding her, preventing her escape.
Sophie Sullivan snorted, imdiately withered, her head hung low as Thomas Shannon sat up, opened his arms, "Confess and you’ll be treated leniently, resist and the punishnt is severe."
She glanced at him, unwillingly climbed back onto the bed, lunged into his embrace, "I confess."
Thomas Shannon chuckled lowly, kissed her soft, fragrant cheek, "Anything else? Want to strive for leniency?"
"Tell , how can I strive for it?"
"For instance... please ."
Sophie Sullivan grabbed him and tackled him down, picked up a pillow and pressed it against his annoying face, "Thomas Shannon, you’re getting more audacious and cheeky, deserve a beating!"
She’s defying everything.
