"Destroyed by you?"

Qi Helian frowned, his tone certain.

Ji Chicheng looked up, silent, his deep black eyes staring at the ground, devoid of any expression.

"Ah!"

Qi Helian didn’t expect Ji Chicheng to open up to him; that was almost an impossibility.

With a helpless sigh, he leaned on the windowsill with one hand and slowly stood up. Thinking of sothing, he bent down, snatched the wine bottle from Ji Chicheng’s hand, "Don’t drink anymore."

Then he walked towards the door, holding the wine bottle, passing by the trash can, he casually threw the wine bottle into it.

...

After much thought and adjusting her feelings in the dark, Ji Anning turned over, turned on the light, and from the bedside phone, she found out she was at the Heavenly Capital Hotel.

Her first ti was taken by a demon at this hotel.

Rembering this, grief overca her again, and she leaned helplessly against the headboard, with traces of blood at the corner of her mouth, accentuating her pallor and weakness.

She didn’t want to move, didn’t want to go back. Her mother was also leaving, and now she truly had no desire for that ho anymore, she didn’t even deserve... silence.

The Ji Anning of the future, staying shalessly in the Ji Family, was entirely for the most realistic thing, money.

The more she thought about it, the more unworthy she felt. She wiped her face with both hands and decided to stop thinking.

She grabbed the blanket, flipped it off, supported herself on the headboard with one hand and pressed the mattress with the other, enduring the sharp pain between her legs as she slowly climbed out of bed.

A streak of blood red inadvertently caught her eye; she frowned and looked directly at it. On the bedsheet, near the edge of the bed, there was a large blood stain.

Ji Anning’s pupils shrank; her heart jumped, he was injured.

Apart from the pain between her legs, she had no discomfort, so it must have been him... the demon; he was injured, he had drunk a lot, he seed to be in pain.

Even though she despised him, hated him to the bone, the sight of the bright red blood on the white sheet caused a pang of compassion to stir within her.

Her heart softened for a mont, but Ji Anning’s expression suddenly turned cold; she reached for the blanket and covered the blood stain.

She got up and quickly entered the bathroom, rushed into the shower, turned on the showerhead, and stood underneath, allowing the cold water to pour down from above her, washing over her mind.

’I like her, she doesn’t like .’

Ji Anning, clear your mind; you and him are not of the sa kind. He’s a demon, he deserves unrequited love.

But what about herself?

Ji Anning leaned back against the wall, slowly sliding down it as she scoffed at herself. What about herself?

For the sake of money and a future, allowing a demon to insult her over and over again, investing in a relationship without dignity; the mont you harbor that sentint, you beco a shaful and filthy person.

...

After about half an hour under the cold water, Ji Anning walked out of the bathroom, as if fully revived.

She changed into her clothes, tied a high ponytail specially to cover the wound on her lip, and with disposable makeup provided by the hotel, she applied light makeup, mainly to match her lipstick.

As long as she was alive and had to return to that ho, she had to be strong, even if it was just a facade.

So, when Qi Helian saw her, he cursed Ji Chicheng countless tis in his heart, and even his ancestors got a share of it.

Hiding in a corner, he took a short video and sent it to Ji Chicheng. It showed Ji Anning exiting the elevator and walking towards the revolving door. He zood in the cara to focus on Anning’s face.
