Instead of standing on the moral high ground, blindly advising the other to be rational.

Interaction is very bland, and infrequent, but in Ji Anning’s heart, her friendship with Jin Yuanyuan is already deeply rooted.

Ji Chicheng opened the front door.

In the kitchen, the aroma is diffusing, and two won inside are chatting and laughing. He curved his lips and directed his gaze toward the living room.

Two little ones are lying on the mat, Zhen Cheng is playing with a Rubik’s cube, and Fenfen is resting her chin in both hands, staring unblinking at Zhen Cheng’s skilled technique.

Big eyes bright and sparkling, with a hint of admiration. Actually, if you look closely, the little girl’s eyes are not much like Anning’s, more elongated.

Her pupils are particularly dark and shiny, dark but sowhat not pure.

"What are you looking at?"

Ji Anning was in the kitchen, worried about the two kids playing outside, she decides to co out and take a look. She opens the door and sees Ji Chicheng staring dazedly at Fenfen.

She asks laughingly.

Ji Chicheng tilts his neck and chuckles lightly, "Whose daughter is she? So pretty. Her father must be handso."

"..."

Ji Anning’s mouth twitches, seeing such childish and narcissistic Ji Chicheng, she’s a bit unaccustod.

"You ca back just in ti, go play with the kids. I’m making dinner."

With that, she goes back into the kitchen and closes the door.

Jin Yuanyuan hears Ji Chicheng’s voice, while stir-frying, she asks Ji Anning with a smile, "Your handso man is back?"

"Yeah, he’s back." Ji Anning nods and goes to the sink to continue washing vegetables.

Jin Yuanyuan says curiously, "I’m wondering, with him being so aloof, what’s your usual interaction like?"

Interaction mode?

Ji Anning raises her head, she’s never actually summarized their interaction mode before.

She thinks for a mont and says, "Whatever I do, he watches like a bystander, in his eyes, nothing is a big deal except death."

After saying this, she nods to confirm, "Yeah, should be like that."

Then she continues washing vegetables.

Jin Yuanyuan asks laughingly, "And if you cheat, he just calmly watches?"

Ji Anning frowns with a black face, "If you cheated, would your man calmly watch?"

But if she really cheated, how would he handle it?

Break up with her?

But surely, he wouldn’t easily let her and the man who cuckolded him off, probably there would be another floating corpse in the waters of Hai City.

Ji Anning’s retort turns Jin Yuanyuan’s face black. She raises the spatula in her hand and gently taps Ji Anning’s head, "Ji Anning, you have a sharp tongue."

"What?" Ji Anning looks innocently, then feigns a realization, "Oh, I forgot, you still don’t have a man."

She’s being intentional.

Jin Yuanyuan sneers coldly, "Huh, as if only you in the world have a man, look how proud you are."

Ji Anning nods, "Many won in the world have n, but only I can show off in front of you."

Afterwards, she adds, "Why don’t you find one yourself, and show off to instead."

Jin Yuanyuan disdainfully looks at her, "Vulgar, shallow, no ambition."

She lowers her gaze, focusing on her stir-frying seriously.

Ji Anning looks at her, deliberates for quite a while, then speaks up, "Yuanyuan, has Mr. Sun recently contributed to your school again?"

She withdraws her gaze, looks down to chop vegetables, pretending as if she’s just casually asking.

Jin Yuanyuan doesn’t think much of it and casually replies, "The school isn’t lacking anything, what’s he contributing?"
