Ji Anning finally agreed, and she laughed, "Alright."
After she hung up the phone, Jin Yuanyuan’s cool laughter ca from behind, "Hehe, hehehe."
Ji Anning turned her head and glared at her irritably, "What’s so funny, what’s there to laugh about?"
She knew what Jin Yuanyuan was laughing about: it was Ji Chicheng’s remark about sending her a box of condoms.
But now that the call was over and she thought about that remark again, she wasn’t so embarrassed anymore. Just now, she had been quite awkward.
As expected, Jin Yuanyuan really teased her with Ji Chicheng’s comnt, "One night, one box of condoms, Teacher Ji is really sothing."
Ji Anning unashadly responded, "A box only has three anyways, and my brother-in-law is in such good shape, it’s a small case for him."
As she said it, she couldn’t help but laugh.
But a box of three really doesn’t seem like much, right? Last ti it seed like... they used up a box, didn’t they?
Hearing this, Jin Yuanyuan frowned in disdain at Ji Anning, "Ji Anning, you really have no sha, turns out you’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing."
"Hahaha." Ji Anning laughed heartily.
She and Jin Yuanyuan chatted and laughed all the way ho.
Zhen Cheng slept right through until they got to Ji Anning’s ho, not waking up even once. Ji Anning lived in a low-rise building without an elevator, so they had to climb the stairs. Ji Anning and Jin Yuanyuan both felt they didn’t have the strength to carry the little guy upstairs, so they had to wake him up.
The little guy followed them sleepily.
Ji Anning walked ahead, opening the door, just as Aunt Wu ca out from the kitchen holding a plate of fruit.
"Miss Anning, you’re back."
"Aunt Wu." Ji Anning introduced Jin Yuanyuan to Aunt Wu, pulling her along, "This is my friend, Jin Yuanyuan."
Aunt Wu busily nodded slightly to Jin Yuanyuan, "Miss Jin, hello."
Before Ji Anning could introduce her, Jin Yuanyuan imdiately bowed slightly to Aunt Wu, smiling, "No need to be so formal, you can just call Yuanyuan."
Then she brought Zhen Cheng over to Aunt Wu, pointing at her and saying to Zhen Cheng, "Zhen Cheng, call her grandma."
"Hello, grandma." Zhen Cheng politely greeted Aunt Wu.
Aunt Wu glanced at the little guy and smilingly said to Ji Anning, "This way, Fenfen has soone to play with; she was just asking for you."
Then she turned her head and called into the room, "Fenfen, look who’s back."
"Mommy."
A little girl’s voice imdiately ca from the room, she didn’t even have to ask, she knew it was Ji Anning who had returned.
"Brother Zhen Cheng."
Already very happy, the little girl’s eyes lit up when she saw Zhen Cheng, and her expression beca extrely excited in just a split second.
She happily ran towards the doorway to greet Ji Anning and the others.
Fenfen ran swiftly, and Ji Anning cast a glance at the floor, her face suddenly alard, "Fenfen, be careful, there are toys on the ground."
The little girl was used to being ho alone every day without friends to play with, so she played with a bunch of toys, which littered the living room floor; Aunt Wu simply couldn’t keep up with tidying them.
By the ti Ji Anning shouted, her feet had already dashed out, but it was still a step too late. Fenfen stepped on a fluffy toy on the ground, slipped, and fell over.
She fell forward and it wasn’t a light fall.
Only then did Ji Anning reach her, bending down to scoop the little girl up from the ground, asking with concern, "Fenfen, where did you fall? Does it hurt?"
"It doesn’t hurt." The little girl was used to such tumbles, cheerfully rubbed the spot on her head where she’d fallen, and struggling out of Ji Anning’s grasp, continued towards Zhen Cheng, "Brother Zhen Cheng."
