He walked past the dining room, his steps did not linger, and he headed straight for the entrance, opened the door, and went out.

Ji Chicheng walked up to them, bent down, and ate the snack from Fenfen’s hand, then asked her indulgently, "Is it tasty?"
"Tasty," Fenfen nodded, her attention fixed on eating.

With that thought, she lifted her head and tried to appear calm as she faced the man before her, "Can I take Fenfen back with for a couple of days?"
"No."
Ji Chicheng’s refusal was adamant, leaving no room for Ji Anning to plead.
"I understand." Ji Anning held back her disappointnt, pursed her lips, and nodded gently, "Then... since there’s a guest at your house today, I’ll leave first and co see Fenfen another day."
