Minnie shook her head, "I’m not leaving, I’ll stay here with you tonight."

Ji Anning knew that she must also be following Qi Helian’s orders, so she did not make things difficult for her.

After all, this wasn’t her ho.

’Since she can’t be unconditionally for , since I make her so tired, since you like her so much, it’s better to leave her to you...’

Love that’s too tiring is better off released.

Them being together was a mistake to begin with, faced with so much opposition, the death of grandfather, she also bore an inescapable responsibility.

In this city’s myriad lights, how many families are enjoying the warmth of reunion, and how many are struggling just like them, clearly in love, yet so torn.

"Young Master, the second test result has co out."

Ji Chicheng stood in front of the window, every light in the entire courtyard was turned on, and the fountain continued to gush, its water sparkling brilliantly under the illumination.

Suddenly soone walked up from behind, a middle-aged man, handing over a piece of paper to him.

Ji Chicheng’s train of thought was interrupted; he turned his head, looking at the piece of paper in the person’s hand next to him, but did not reach out to take it.

"The dicine is fine," the middle-aged man reported the findings written on the paper to Ji Chicheng.

Upon hearing this, a flicker of doubt crossed Ji Chicheng’s eyes; he remained silent, turned, and entered the room, picking up a hand-copied list that resembled a food nu from the desk and handed it to the middle-aged man, instructing him, "Go show them this."

"This is... ?" the middle-aged man reached out, puzzled, to take the paper from Ji Chicheng’s hand.

Ji Chicheng spoke indifferently, "The old man’s al plan from the two days before the incident."

The middle-aged man imdiately understood Ji Chicheng’s intention, nodded, and said, "I understand."

Straight after that thought, he rembered sothing else and, looking at Ji Chicheng, cautiously said, "Miss Fenfen’s emotions are quite unstable, she’s been causing a fuss to see Miss Anning."

Ji Chicheng pursed his lips and said, "I’ll go to the hospital with you."

The hospital was filled with the sll of disinfectants, and as Ji Chicheng gently pushed open the door of the ward, he imdiately saw the little one who had already fallen asleep on the bed.

His heart imdiately softened.

"Mr. Ji."

For the past couple of days, Ji Chicheng had Wu Sao take care of Fenfen, as Fenfen was not comfortable with strangers, so Ji Chicheng had Anning’s assistant co over to accompany her at night.

Seeing him arrive, Anning’s assistant was a bit surprised.

Worried that he would wake Fenfen, Ji Chicheng made a ’shushing’ gesture to her, and his footsteps were light as he walked towards the bedside.

When he reached the bed, he bent down to sit on the edge of it, his eyes looking down at the bandage wrapped around Fenfen’s eyes, filled with tenderness.

The assistant ca over, too, and said softly to Ji Chicheng, bending down, "Fenfen hasn’t eaten anything tonight, and she hasn’t had any milk; she kept calling for her mother."

Ji Chicheng didn’t look at her but simply stated, "You don’t need to co anymore, and you don’t need to follow Anning either."

The assistant was startled, "Mr. Ji."

Ji Chicheng slowly turned his head, his gaze cold as he stared at the dumbfounded assistant, "Given that you’ve taken care of Fenfen, I can overlook the fact that you were bribed by Charles."

His eyes flashed fiercely for a mont.

A look of astonishnt swept across the face of the assistant, still young and sowhat childish, and she trembled violently.

Ji Chicheng’s cold voice resud, "Don’t let see you in China again."

"Mr. Ji, I’ve never done anything to harm Nian-jie and Fenfen," the assistant shook her head, defending herself. "I have no ill intentions towards Nian-jie, please don’t drive away."
