Dad?
Ji Anning looked speechlessly at Qi He, staring at his handso face.
Qi Helian had tried several tis but was rejected by Fenfen. He laughed, raised his head, and t Ji Anning’s bright black eyes. His smile faltered for a mont.
Blinking in confusion.
"Mr. Qi, you really are beautiful."
After giving a serious complint, Ji Anning couldn’t help it and covered her mouth with a laugh.
She rembered he really hated being praised for his beauty. In the early days, every ti his uncle called him "Qi the beauty," he would turn away in a huff, giving the impression he wouldn’t talk to anyone for days, yet he never lasted an hour before he was trailing behind, calling out ’Chicheng, Chicheng.’
Qi Helian scowled, "You’ve grown quite bold."
"Just kidding." Ji Anning pretended to be scared, hugging Fenfen and leaning back slightly.
Fenfen didn’t understand what they were talking about, but seeing Ji Anning laughing, she studied her for a mont and then blindly followed suit with her laughter.
Moreover, she laughed out loud with a ’giggling’ sound, full of childlike innocence, even laughing out her double chin.
She really was adorably irresistible.
Qi Helian couldn’t help himself, snatched her from Ji Anning’s hands, lifted her high up, and spun around in place, "My darling, today you are with , I’ll take you to have fun, to the amusent park, and buy you yummy treats."
At his words, the little girl’s eyes lit up, and she sweetly called out, "Dad."
Ji Anning: "..."
For the first ti, she realized this little one was so without principles; with food and fun, she would...acknowledge a thief as her father?
"Yes, say it again." In his childish voice, Qi Helian was extrely pleased, keeping her held high, looking up at her.
Fenfen obediently called out again, "Dad."
Ji Anning rolled her eyes in speechlessness.
In reality, Fenfen didn’t know what ’dad’ ant. All along, she only knew ’daddy’ and knew she was born to daddy and mummy.
Qi Helian played happily with Fenfen, while Minnie constantly checked the ti outside the door, glancing at the ti, then lifting her head to look at Qi Helian.
Seeing that he had no intention of leaving, she frowned and shook her head worriedly, "Ah, every ti it’s Miss Anning, it’s a lifeti mistake."
It always was.
After receiving another urging call, Minnie mustered up the courage to approach Qi Helian and remind him, "Mr. Qi, it’s about ti."
At her words, Qi Helian paused from teasing Fenfen, looked at Ji Anning and asked, "Are you ready?"
Ji Anning nodded, "Yes, all set."
"Then let’s go," Qi Helian said indifferently, then turned and walked towards the door, holding Fenfen.
"Um," Ji Anning followed up, "We’re not taking Fenfen, leaving her at ho?"
That kind of place had a lot of people. She had brought her to a photoshoot a few days ago, and she got lost; she was still traumatized by it.
"Why not bring her?" Qi Helian frowned and asked Ji Anning, then lovingly smiled down at Fenfen, "Daddy will take you to have fun."
Fenfen pecked like a little chicken, nodding her small head, "Daddy."
"Mm, good," Qi Helian gently touched the little girl’s fluffy head, his lips curving into an artfully sly smile.
Ji Anning opened her mouth, wanting to prevent it, but Qi He carried Fenfen to the doorstep, not even looking at her.
As a special guest, the organizer’s RV had been waiting for him at the hotel entrance for a while, and the car that ca to pick up Ji Anning was clearly a few notches lower.
It was reality, and it was normal, Ji Anning didn’t think much of it.
Outside the door, she called out to Qi Helian, who was holding Fenfen, "Mr. Qi, give Fenfen, I’ll see you at the venue."
