At the buffet restaurant, seeing so many foods, Fenfen beca restless in Ji Anning’s arms, struggling to get down.
Ji Anning, having no other choice, had to let her down.

Beset by a woman with a shapely figure, Qi Helian frowned, visibly irritated. The woman kept swaying her hips, attempting to move closer to him. Losing his patience, he turned coldly, stretched out his hand, his long fingers pressing against the woman’s exposed shoulder and raised his eyebrows coldly, "You can’t pique my interest. Let’s call it a night, OK?"
His tone left no room for doubt.
The seductive smile on the woman’s face froze, her delicate body trembling.
Before she could react, Qi Helian had already turned away, leaving her with a view of his noble back.
"Fenfen, be careful."
Suddenly, a familiar girl’s voice ca from in front of him, and his excited gaze flashed, arresting his steps.
The familiar small figure brushed past him, a whiff of fragrance drifting before his nose, teasing like a feather on the tip of his heart.
Was it a dream, a hallucination?
"Mommy, hug..."
"Now that you can’t reach the food, you want a hug from ?"
The familiar voice entered his ears once more. Qi Helian abruptly turned around and saw that familiar figure, that familiar face. Unexpectedly, his breath involuntarily halted.
"Mommy, eat..."
"Eat what?" Ji Anning followed the direction of Fenfen’s pointing finger.
Her gaze swept past him unintentionally, and she paused.
Looking back, her mouth opened in surprise.
Once the man realized Ji Anning’s gaze was on him, he reacted, bending his lips slightly into a smile.
His hands, which had been resting by his legs, leisurely slipped into the pockets of his sharp trousers, as one shoulder lazily dropped.
"Little girl, have you forgotten ?"
His eyebrows slightly raised, unspeakably charming and mischievous.
Ji Anning also ca back to her senses. Perhaps because they hadn’t seen each other for so long, and because she used to use him for publicity, this sudden encounter left her feeling sowhat embarrassed, smiling shyly, "Mr. Qi, it’s been a while."

Suddenly, Qi Helian moved quickly to Ji Anning’s side, extending his arms to embrace her.

Belatedly realizing this, he hastily pushed Ji Anning away, awkwardly glancing at her, but ultimately unable to et her eyes.
Ji Anning also felt awkward, her cheeks flushing, not knowing what to say.
"Sorry." His apology didn’t sound quite heartfelt. Qi Helian’s hands went back into his trouser pockets, his gaze wandering uncertainly for a mont before he glanced askance at Ji Anning again.
Only then did he notice Fenfen by Ji Anning’s side, and he froze, his gaze falling on the little girl’s face, "This..."
Qi Helian crouched down in surprise, moving closer to Fenfen, cupping her little face with his hands, overwheld with excitent.
Fenfen was frightened by Qi Helian’s agitated reaction and hid behind Ji Anning, "Mommy."
