Already filled with rage, he ca to give him a lecture.

Ji Chicheng’s forehead vein was subtly pulsing as he reached out and grabbed Charles by his collar, glaring at him with a look of loathing.

This action alard the security guards stationed at the door; thinking he would ignore Charles, they rushed in all at once, each drawing their guns.

Charles frowned, giving them a displeased look, "Without my command, don’t co in."

Upon hearing this, the security guards holstered their guns and retreated back to the doorway.

Charles’s gaze then slowly returned to Ji Chicheng, fixating on his eyes for a second or two longer, his eyes flashing with myriad thoughts.

Then calmly curving his lips, he said, "You’re so hot-tempered, just like Ji Zhengdao; truly, none of the children educated by him are gentlen, all roughnecks."

In saying this, Charles was not only criticizing Ji Chicheng for not being a gentleman but also mocking Ji Zhengdao’s failure.

Ji Chicheng ignored his words, still clutching his collar, "Say that again, give Fenfen."

"You just want Fenfen?" Charles raised an eyebrow, his gaze intensely fixed on Ji Chicheng’s brooding black eyes.

He did not miss a single hint of reaction that Ji Chicheng revealed.

Ji Chicheng’s lips quivered slightly and he then nodded, "... Yes!"

His answer was resolute and assertive.

But as the words fell, his eyes flashed with a mont of hesitation, an involuntary regret.

"I’m sorry to tell you," Charles shrugged to express his regret, "Niannian and Fenfen are no longer in L City at this ti."

Having said that, he grabbed Ji Chicheng’s hands that were clutching his collar and during Ji Chicheng’s mont of distraction, he pried his hands off.

Bending down to straighten his crumpled collar, Charles then politely and courteously said to Ji Chicheng, "Handso young man, why don’t you sit down and have tea with ? No girl likes a man as hot-tempered as you."

The term "handso young man" reminded him of when he was a child and those wealthy ladies used to call him that; it had been many years since he heard it.

Ji Chicheng felt Charles was mocking his youth, patronizing, and repeatedly condescending, teaching him lessons because of his old age.

Was he bragging that Ji Anning was now with him?

Young Master Ji felt for the first ti so frustrated, so suffocated.

No matter what reasons or hardships, in the end, he had been bested by a man twice his age, who stole his daughter and his lover.

He never stopped glaring at Charles for even a mont, filled with murderous intent.

Charles also kept staring back; after a long while, he suddenly smiled again, "Handso young man, actually, your fury doesn’t scare , I’ve been through plenty in my life, even storms of bullets and shells."

During the conversation, the servant quickly set the tea set on the coffee table, arranging it swiftly.

Pointing at the tea set, Charles said to Ji Chicheng, "If you sit down and have a cup of tea, calm yourself, and if I am pleased, I might tell you where Niannian has taken Fenfen."

This was not just striking a deal, but also implying that he should appease him and make him happy.

It was the first ti anyone dared to be so presumptuous with him. From childhood, even the most prestigious elder in the Ji Family had never forced or asked him to do anything; Ji Chicheng clenched his fists tightly and headed straight for the second floor.

He hadn’t taken many steps when Charles’s voice leisurely arose behind him, "Perhaps the Ji family is formidable in China, but this is Country Y, L City, Charles’s ho, and without my consent, I guess you can’t even leave this living room."
