"Ji Anning?"
Suddenly, a familiar voice called out to her from behind; it was Ji Jingfeng, and her back tensed for a mont.
Before she had the chance to turn around, another sharp female voice, filled with biting fury, called out her na, "Ji Anning!"
The voice approached with ill intent; she quickly turned around, and as expected, Bai Guo charged at her with a fierce look on her face, raising her hand to strike Anning’s face.
With quick reflexes, Anning caught Bai Guo’s wrist just as her hand was about to touch her face, and glared at her coldly, warning, "Miss Bai, don’t casually lay a hand on others’ faces—others have hands too."
Staring at Anning’s fair and rosy cheeks, Bai Guo suddenly lost control, raising her other hand to grab Anning’s collar and shook her violently like a madwoman, "You cruel woman, give back my child, you made it so I can never have children again."
Anning was pressed against the wall by her, forcefully pushing on her chest, eyes wide with a murderous glare.
Anning hadn’t expected Bai Guo to lose control to such an extent; she was so frightened that her pupils constricted, and her first thought was the child in her belly.
She should not resist too much, for she didn’t know what Bai Guo would do next.
She released the hand that was gripping Bai Guo’s wrist and lifted it instead to grab Bai Guo’s hair, pulling hard, "Bai Guo, let go of right now."
"Hmph!" Bai Guo snorted coldly. Far from letting go, the hand that had grabbed Anning’s collar now strangled her neck, "I’m going to kill you today, you wretched woman, you won’t die a peaceful death."
As she spoke, she squeezed Anning’s neck harder and harder; Anning’s face turned as red as if it were filled with blood, and she began to have trouble breathing.
Driven by a strong desire to survive, Anning did not release her grip on Bai Guo’s hair; she raised a leg and drove her knee with all her might into Bai Guo’s lower abdon.

At that mont, Ji Jingfeng, who had been calmly watching Bai Guo bully Anning, rushed over, seizing Anning’s wrist that was pulling Bai Guo’s hair, "Anning, this is the entrance of soone’s restaurant, with many people watching; stop creating a scene."
On the surface, he was breaking up the fight, but Ji Jingfeng almost crushed Anning’s bones.
Anning’s hand was naturally forced to release Bai Guo’s hair by Ji Jingfeng, but he continued to restrain her in the guise of breaking up the fight, leaving Anning powerless to resist Bai Guo.
With her hair now free, Bai Guo acted like a rabid dog, biting down on Anning’s neck.

Anning scread in pain, the sound echoing in the air, sending shivers down the spines of onlookers.
"Anning!"
Just then, from inside the restaurant, two tall figures burst out at lightning speed, reaching them in an instant. One dragged Ji Jingfeng away, while the other grabbed Bai Guo’s arm and flung her down the steps, leaving her unable to get up.
On Anning’s neck, two rows of teeth marks were visible, so already bleeding; a thin trail of blood ran down to her collarbone. She leaned back against a Roman pillar, her face pale and her body trembling violently.
When Qi Helian saw Anning in that state, he seed possessed by the grim reaper. Turning around, his gaze filled with murderous intent, he swept over Ji Jingfeng, "Ji Jingfeng!"
Clenching his teeth, he charged forward and punched Ji Jingfeng in the face.
Jingfeng didn’t have the ti or chance to fight back before another punch landed, and he fell to the ground.
