After several instances, Ji Anning no longer had the strength to even speak, gasping delicately beneath him.

"Uncle, stop, it’s uncomfortable," she wled, her cheeks flaming red.

Ji Chicheng raised an eyebrow gently, "Are you satisfied now?"

As he spoke, he rubbed his nose gently against Ji Anning’s face, blushing so fervently it seed it might bleed, adoring her so deeply he wished he could devour her in one bite.

"Not satisfied," Ji Anning pouted, tightening her arms around Ji Chicheng’s neck, "I still want you."

This... was her first ti taking the initiative to ask.

Young Master Ji thought that under such circumstances, if he were to refuse, could he still call himself a man?

Without a word, he kissed her pursed red lips, answering her with his actions.

Amidst the scent of sweat, the cellphone by their side kept vibrating; they were imrsed in experiencing each other’s joy at such close range, losing themselves.

...

The next day, Ji Anning woke up to find herself covered in kiss marks again. She hastily showered, changed her clothes, and went directly to school.

Even in the leafless winter, the campus was still filled with vitality.

Because of last night, Ji Anning was in a very good mood now. With more than half an hour before class, she headed to her dormitory first to review the course notes she had missed in recent days, all prepared by Ji Chicheng.

"Yuanyuan."

Just as Ji Anning reached her dorm, ready to open the door, Jin Yuanyuan erged from the neighboring dorm.

She wore a black down jacket, holding books, looking listless.

Hearing Ji Anning’s call, Jin Yuanyuan finally raised her head to look at her.

Seeing Jin Yuanyuan’s face, Ji Anning was taken aback, her mouth falling open, "You... how have you lost so much weight?"

And her complexion was particularly awful, clearly the kind that suggested she had lost weight due to so shock.

Jin Yuanyuan lowered her head without answering Ji Anning, looking quite distraught.

"What’s wrong," Ji Anning asked with concern, moving forward, "What happened?"

"He’s gone," Jin Yuanyuan said, throwing herself at Ji Anning with her head resting on her shoulder, sobbing miserably.

He’s gone... Upon hearing these three words, Ji Anning felt a chill throughout her body, her hairs standing on end. She stood gaping for a while before swallowing saliva.

She reached out, patting Jin Yuanyuan’s back comfortingly.

"It’s all my fault, all my fault for clinging to him. That’s why he applied to transfer to that godforsaken place. I hate myself," Jin Yuanyuan cried, pounding her chest.

Ji Anning touched her back, "Don’t be sad."

She couldn’t bring herself to say ’Life and death are decreed by fate,’ yet she could find no words to comfort her.

Not wishing to attract an audience, Ji Anning took Jin Yuanyuan’s hand and pulled her into her dorm, closing the door behind them.

In that short ti, Jin Yuanyuan’s eyes had already swollen from crying, she kept blaming herself.

Ji Anning didn’t know how to comfort her, so she simply offered her shoulder for support.

It wasn’t just Jin Yuanyuan; even she found it hard to accept this terrible news initially. Such a person, gone just like that.

Finally, after calming Jin Yuanyuan down, Ji Anning herself sat at the desk, staring blankly, lanting how fragile life truly is.

"Uncle, promise , no matter what happens, you will take good care of yourself for our sake," she ssaged Ji Chicheng.

After sending the ssage, she placed the old envelope she had taken out from the drawer back inside.

It was the letter Yao Yiyang had asked her to give to Jin Yuanyuan, but she thought that maybe now was not the right ti to give it to her.
