"You should rest early, I’m heading back."
Xin Hailong greeted, then turned and left directly.
Hearing the ’bang’ of the door closing, Xin Xiaoxiao lifted her head and looked towards the doorway of the large living room, which had beco empty.
Her mouth turned downwards, her lonely eyes staring for a long ti.
She stared until her eyes began to ache, then blinked slowly, her vision gradually blurred, she sniffed and smiled.
"Hello."
As she chatted with Qiu Yang about their experiences at the hospital over the past few years, and so professional knowledge, more than an hour had unknowingly passed.
It was already past ten, and seeing Xin Xiaoxiao’s call, Xiang Yiqing was sowhat surprised.
Although Xin Xiaoxiao could be clingy, she rarely bothered him at night, almost as if she never did.
Answering the call, Xiang Yiqing only frowned and said ’Hello’.
The receiver imdiately conveyed a deep breath, which made Xiang Yiqing’s heart unexpectedly tense.
Imdiately after, the girl’s voice sounded, "I’m so hungry, can you buy sothing to eat?"
The tone was drunken.
Xiang Yiqing’s brows furrowed even deeper, "Weren’t you going ho? How did you start drinking again?"
"Life is ant to be enjoyed, don’t let the golden goblet face the moon empty. Do you want to co and drink a couple of glasses?"
Though Xin Xiaoxiao’s words were drunken, her defiant attitude remained unchanged.
Xiang Yiqing could detect a deep sadness, so he dropped his reprimanding tone and gently asked, "Are you alone?"
Xin Xiaoxiao laughed and replied, "If you co over, there’ll be two of us."
"Stop drinking."
After saying a few simple words to Xin Xiaoxiao, Xiang Yiqing hung up the phone and imdiately set aside the teacup he was holding with his other hand.
Qiu Yang, not knowing what happened, anxiously asked, "What happened?"
"Xiaoxiao said she’s hungry and asked to buy her sothing to eat." Xiang Yiqing didn’t care about his tone at all, then stood up to say goodbye to Qiu Yang, "I’m leaving now, get so sleep early."
"Okay."
Qiu Yang escorted Xiang Yiqing to the entrance, leaning against the door fra, watching his tall figure descend the stairs and disappear at the unit’s doorway.
Her smile gradually turned bitter.

’Ding dong, ding dong.’
Upon hearing the noise, Xin Xiaoxiao’s first reaction was to pick up her phone, blurrily glancing at it, "No ssage, it’s not a text."
She muttered a sentence, casually threw the phone onto the sofa, and slowly climbed up, staggering towards the door.
Her hand reached the doorknob, and she leaned against the adjacent wall to gather strength before she had the energy to twist open the door.
The familiar figure ca into view, Xin Xiaoxiao squinted, seeing several overlapping images.
"Brother Xiang."
She shook her head and called out.
Xiang Yiqing frowned at her; the words of reproach were still on his lips when she suddenly pounced over and hugged him tightly.
He instinctively reached out to hold her, feeling her soft little body, like she had no bones.
Then he looked down at her, she happened to raise her small face to look at him, pouting and asking, "I’m hungry, did you bring sothing delicious?"
Xiang Yiqing nodded lightly, "Yes."
With a large hand around her waist, he easily lifted her up and carried her inside. Once the door was closed, he released her.
"Eat with , I don’t want to eat alone." Xin Xiaoxiao saw the plastic bag in Xiang Yiqing’s hand, grabbed it, looked inside, then took his hand again, with a unsteady footing, she barely managed to reach the sofa and flopped onto it.
