Chapter 1195: Chapter 1195: Reunion (8)

The whirlpools in his dark eyes grew deeper and deeper. Afraid of scaring the amnesiac treasure, Gu Yelin took a deep breath, regulated his Inner Breath, and suppressed the heat within him rapidly.

"Get so sleep, don’t overthink. I’ll always be here."

An Yiqing nodded, tightly gripping Gu Yelin’s large hand, and slowly fell asleep.

Even though she had lost her mory and her vision, there was a voice in her heart telling her that this man was the one person in the world she should never doubt and always trust.

Perhaps because of the exhaustion from all the turmoil on the ship, An Yiqing slept all the way until the next morning. Gu Yelin repeatedly assured the An Family that An Yiqing was rely sleeping deeply, easing their near-desperate anxiety.

The next morning, the warm sunlight poured into the room, its delicate rays scattering onto the little figure on the bed.

The room was quiet. On the large bed, Gu Yelin leaned against the headboard, his unwavering gaze fixed on the sleeping An Yiqing.

He hadn’t slept all night, nor had he changed his clothes. Last night, when he was about to change his clothes and remove An Yiqing’s hand, he discovered that even in her dreams, she grew extraordinarily restless.

Gu Yelin’s heart ached sharply as he grasped her hand again, calming her unease.

Seeing An Yiqing like this made Gu Yelin ache to the point of suffocation. She had lost her mory, lost her sight—this world was entirely foreign to her. Now, she seed like a lonely orphan, without a past and uncertain of a future.

Amidst the pain, Gu Yelin felt a hint of joy. Even though the treasure had forgotten everything, she still trusted him unconditionally.

All night long, he sat there, unmoving, simply watching An Yiqing. His eyes bore faint traces of red, yet he felt an unprecedented sense of energy coursing through him.

Taking advantage of the shy little girl still being asleep, he slowly lowered his head and planted a deep kiss on her cheek.

When An Yiqing woke from her sleep, it was already past ten in the morning. From downstairs, faint voices carried up to her ears.

It wasn’t that the soundproofing was poor or the voices were too loud—rather, An Yiqing’s strength was recovering rapidly, and her hearing had improved significantly.

"Did soone co downstairs?"

"Your good friends."

Recognition dawned on An Yiqing. "Do you an Ruan Xue, Gu Tingting, and Tang Lin?" She had rembered their nas clearly when Gu Yelin told her before.

"Yes, them. Tutu, freshen up quickly and change your clothes. Let’s head downstairs."

On the first floor, Gu Tingting, Ruan Xue, and Tang Lin sat anxiously on the sofa, glancing upstairs every few seconds.

Their gazes were filled with anticipation, joy, and worry.

Would Qingqing, who had lost her mory, still like them? Would her temperant or preferences change?

However, all their unease dissolved completely the mont they saw An Yiqing.

Their Qingqing, even with amnesia, was still the sa An Yiqing—sotis silly and adorable, sotis serene and reserved. She was still the good friend who brought them warmth.

The group chattered away, talking endlessly, until the next wave of visitors arrived. Only then, reluctantly, did Gu Tingting, Ruan Xue, and Tang Lin leave.

"You little rascal, have you no conscience? Do you even rember who I am?" The devilishly charming Bai Yiming smiled alluringly, his gaze toward An Yiqing filled with undeniable tenderness. He waved his hand and shook his head, saying, "Never mind, don’t think about it. Let

introduce myself. I’m Bai Yiming, one of your—most favorite—friends. We’ve shared life-and-death experiences."

Bai Yiming chuckled to himself. Hmm, it’s not so bad that this little girl lost her mory. Now he could make up so nonsense to draw them closer.
