Gu Tingting smiled as she glanced at An Yiqing and Ruan Xue, then reached out to loop an arm around Zhou Xiaoyu’s shoulder: “Of course it’s you, Zhou Xiaoyu, the great beauty. We’re about to leave, hurry up!”
At this mont, beneath the female dormitory’s gazebo, a tall and handso man anxiously stared at the dormitory’s entrance.
Tang Lin had just received the news when An Yiqing t Gu Tingting and Ruan Xue. It was about the mysterious reappearance of An Yiqing, the Xuan University Campus Beauty, within the campus. Those who knew of Tang Lin’s relationship with An Yiqing quickly relayed the information to him.
At that ti, Tang Lin was reading in his dorm, but after receiving the ssage, he quickly changed into a clean, neat blue casual suit and rushed out with his mobile phone.
He didn’t want to disturb An Yiqing, Ruan Xue, and Gu Tingting catching up, so he simply waited patiently at the main gate.
Checking his watch again, he looked up at the dormitory building and, as Tang Lin refocused on the entrance, his eyes suddenly lit up.
At the entrance, An Yiqing in a white dress was tenderly linked arm in arm by Ruan Xue and Gu Tingting, one on each side. Zhou Xiaoyu, in a blue dress, shyly followed, occasionally casting admiring glances at An Yiqing.
“You’re back at Xuan University and didn’t tell , do you even consider
a friend?”
An Yiqing paused, her gaze surprised as she looked towards the source of the voice, spotting the tall and handso Tang Lin in a blue casual suit. However, his face was oddly flushed with twin spots of red, his expression full of arrogance and awkwardness.
With a soft chuckle, An Yiqing let go of Gu Tingting and Ruan Xue and walked towards Tang Lin.
“I was actually planning to find you in a few days for a chat. I didn’t expect you to have such quick news.”
Tang Lin’s somber expression eased slightly, his feelings of resentnt gradually dissipating.
With a cold gaze fixed on An Yiqing, Tang Lin raised an eyebrow: “A private eting with ? How formal.”
“Don’t play dumb. Didn’t you receive the ssage I had Uncle deliver a few days ago?”
An Yiqing helplessly shook her head, rolling her eyes hard.
Having t Tang Lin’s father, Tang Zhishan, a few days ago and learning that Tang Lin had begun frequently dealing with political matters, she had planned to find a chance to chat with him alone.
Tang Lin guiltily touched his nose, lifting his chin arrogantly with a twisted expression: “I did receive the ssage, but soone didn’t call
personally. I feel neglected.”
Corners of her mouth twitching, An Yiqing stared unhappily at the arrogantly cheeky young man in front of her.
“We’re going shopping, are you coming?”
Tang Lin raised an eyebrow, responding coolly, “I didn’t bring money!”
Grinding her teeth, An Yiqing suppressed the urge to punch Tang Lin, fiercely declaring, “I’m paying!”
“Mhm! That’s more like it, let’s go!”
With that, Tang Lin led the way, walking ahead of An Yiqing and the others. As he turned his back to An Yiqing, he surreptitiously flashed a triumphant smile.
He may be childish and contrary, unable to be a boyfriend, but he still aspired to be the most unique and exceptional friend in her heart!
Since it was five of them, Zhang Yufeng’s Audi didn’t have enough seats. An Yiqing instructed her to drive back ho and took two taxis with Gu Tingting, Ruan Xue, and the others to the comrcial district.
The comrcial area nearest to Xuan University was Xuandu City’s famous and bustling city center comrcial district, where high-rise buildings stood in great numbers, filled everywhere with the cutting-edge fashion and youthful vibrancy of the tis.
