Bao Shaojin’s deep, dark eyes glanced in a certain direction, with a somber and obsessive gaze.

Grandmother Bao’s eyes fell upon Bao Shaojin, a chilling coldness flowed through her heart. The tender look in his eyes was familiar to her.

Bao Xun once had the sa look, his eyes full of that little girl!

And Bao Yun, who also retreated from the world for love...

The young n of the Bao Family, many of them are truly hopeless romantics! As Grandmother Bao seed to recall sothing, a trace of sadness appeared on her calm face.

"I’m going back to the room to change clothes." Bao Shaojin spoke in a weary voice and headed towards the inner room.

Grandmother Bao watched her grandson’s desolate and withdrawn figure without stopping him.

"Let’s wait for him in the car first." Grandmother Bao suggested.

Since he had already agreed to go to the hospital, he wouldn’t go back on his word.

"Yes," Housekeeper Liu supported Grandmother Bao, reminding her, "About the engagent banquet for the Third Master..." He paused halfway, clearly waiting for Grandmother Bao’s decision.

After so thought, Grandmother Bao said lightly, "Pass the word, say I am feeling unwell and have returned ho to rest."

"Understood."

Grandmother Bao turned her gaze and reminded herself that the Su Family girl was no easy character, once again instructing, "Also, inform A Cheng to keep a low profile, to avoid unnecessary trouble at ho."

"Yes." Housekeeper Liu carefully noted down Grandmother Bao’s instructions.

"A Cheng, over the years, all he does day in and day out is surround himself with won, and the ss he leaves behind is always cleaned up by the family, just like his father." Grandmother Bao huffed with disappointnt at both her youngest son and grandson.

Housekeeper Liu slowed his pace, quickly comforting her, "Although A Cheng has caused trouble, he is a filial child and often cos to see you and cheer you up."

Housekeeper Liu’s words brought a wry smile to Grandmother Bao’s face, "Do you really think I am unaware of his intentions? If it weren’t for wanting to invest in his business ventures, would he visit the old house so diligently?"

With two consecutive rhetorical questions, Grandmother Bao left Housekeeper Liu speechless.

Living too clearly, happiness naturally decreases! Having lived so long, Grandmother Bao could see through certain things but chose to turn a blind eye.

After they left the hall, the room returned to silence.

Bao Shaojin walked heavily to the door where the young girl was. The once open door was now locked from inside.

If he truly wanted to break in, he could, but he chose not to scare the frightened young girl inside.

Recalling the scene in the bathroom earlier, he frowned deeply, the coldness on his face visibly darkened.

The hissing sounds by his ear lingered long.

He had ignored the young girl’s resistance, forcefully tearing off her coat, and when he touched the white skin of her neck, the desire in his eyes was shattered. He ignored the pain in his palm and her plea for rcy, and he crazily tore her clothes.

Until the young girl curled into a ball squatting in the corner, desperately clinging to the last of her clothing, repeatedly shouting, "I’ll test, I’ll test..."

His nearly insane behavior gradually ceased.

Finally, he stood outside the bathroom door, slightly ajar, allowing him to hear the movents inside.

The young girl was terribly frightened, trembling violently as she hesitantly made her way toward the toilet, holding a pregnancy test stick the man had handed her. In her confusion, she followed the instructions and tested.

Unsurprisingly, she was not pregnant.

When the man intruded, she grabbed a towel from the rack to cover herself and retreated to the corner. Her tear-swollen eyes dared not et the man’s clear gaze.

Everything that happened earlier was like a nightmare for An Yin, her body and mind had been subjected to unprecedented humiliation and violation.

From a young age, under An Ying’s protection, she never experienced the maliciousness of the world. The only thing she resented was being mocked as a fatherless child. Initially, she felt sad and inferior, but reminded of An Mrs.’s love, she learned to forget those unhappy mories.

An Yin thought that growing up without a father was her life’s biggest challenge, but now, she had a new nightmare to face.

He was Bao Shaojin!

An Yin’s lively eyes filled with tears, her fair cheeks flushed red. She slumped in the corner near the door, her hands involuntarily clenched, her heart pounding. She timidly watched the doorknob, like a startled bird, fearing the man might enter.

At this mont, she was barely clothed, wrapped in a white towel, and even her phone had fallen sowhere in the struggle.

An Yin hugged her knees, her nose tingling with sourness, emitting intermittent sobs.

Separated by just a door.

Bao Shaojin’s face was sowhat cold, his long, pale fingers lazily resting against the wall, his dark eyes quietly contemplating the tightly shut door, his gaze growing darker.

"An Yin."

His magnetic, low voice passed through the door to An Yin’s ears.

An Yin held her breath slightly, her long lashes trembling gently, and in her anxiousness, she bit her lip, not daring to make a sound.

Her entire focus was on the man’s voice, and at so point, the towel slipped from her shoulder, revealing her fair flesh.

Yet at this mont, she couldn’t worry about such things.

She knew the man wasn’t done speaking, so she held her breath, waiting for what he would say next.

Outside, Bao Shaojin’s deep eyes were calm as a deep pool, his aura cold and distant, making it hard for anyone to approach.

"Earlier, I was wrong."

As he spoke, he raised his hand to rub his forehead, trying to alleviate the headache.

He stood outside the door, waiting for almost a minute, but the young girl didn’t utter a single word.

Bao Shaojin closed his eyes briefly, his brow dark with emotion. When he was sure the young girl didn’t want to speak to him, he suddenly opened his eyes, his deep, resonant voice ringing out again.

"An Yin, I won’t hurt you."

His resolute face seed enveloped in frost.

After he spoke, he moved to the neighboring bedroom.

When he erged, he had changed clothes.

The man was wearing a black tailored suit, with a white shirt underneath, the fine quality complented his tall, strong physique, accentuating his sharp lines.

However, his one hand was wrapped in blood-stained bandages, creating a slightly jarring sight.

As he passed by the girl’s bedroom, he paused for a few seconds.
