T University.

An Yin went to class early on the first day of school, expecting to see Jiang Keke, but she never showed up. An opened WeChat to send a ssage, but there was no response.

Just as the first class was about to start, An Yin was returning to her seat when she saw the class monitor approaching her.

"An Yin, the counselor wants to see you."

An Yin was montarily stunned before replying, "Okay."

Since the counselor was looking for her, it had to be sothing important. Not daring to delay, she walked out of the classroom.

To An Yin’s surprise, the counselor was waiting for her directly in the hallway.

"An Yin." The counselor wore heavy golden-frad glasses, appeared to be in his late fifties, with scarcely any white hair on his head, and a round face exuding warmth.

"Teacher!" An Yin approached the counselor with utmost respect, her delicate face full of doubt.

The counselor looked at the young girl in front of him with a complex expression, unsure of how to start the conversation. However, motivated by the promise he rembered, his expression turned stern, "Let’s talk as we walk."

"Okay." An Yin dazedly followed the counselor.

The two of them, one following behind the other, arrived at the school parking lot, where the teachers’ cars were neatly lined up all around.

As they walked, the counselor explained the pros and cons of the matter, then stopped and looked seriously at the delicate young girl in front of him, "An Yin, are you willing?"

An Yin blinked her round apricot eyes, her mind blank.

The counselor, seeing that she didn’t speak, adjusted his glasses and said, "An Yin, don’t worry. The grandmother from the Bao Family just wants to know about our T University’s environnt. Just explain so situations about T University to her, and there’s no need to be nervous."

The Bao Family had already promised a sum of money to T University, though not many knew the conditions. However, the counselor, being an astute figure at the school, had so vague guesses about the school’s arrangent for An Yin to visit the Bao Family.

As her student, he was determined to protect her comprehensively. However, since they assured him that the young girl’s safety would be guaranteed, he agreed to be the interdiary.

"Teacher, why ?" An Yin was really curious.

The counselor looked at the girl’s stunning appearance and sighed inwardly. When he saw the young girl’s admission photo, he was also impressed, thinking that having such an extraordinary beauty in the class would make it hard for the boys to focus on their studies. Later, when the girl concentrated wholeheartedly on her studies and never caused any rumors in the class, he realized he had been worrying needlessly.

The counselor looked at her seriously and didn’t want to lie, "They specifically asked to see you."

An Yin was imdiately stupefied.

The counselor, seeing her completely unaware expression, pondered, "Do you know anyone from the Bao Family?"

Upon hearing the surna Bao, the na "Bao Shaojin" imdiately flashed in her mind. Her eyes shifted slightly as she showed a thoughtful expression.

The counselor, observant as always, noticed her expressions ticulously.

He always knew that An Yin ca from a single-parent family and that her financial situation wasn’t affluent. Now, seeing that the young girl actually had a connection to the Bao Family, the counselor’s gaze on her gradually beca more profound.

Seeing that she didn’t speak, the counselor didn’t press further, "Go ahead then."

Just as the counselor finished speaking, Housekeeper Liu erged from a black Maybach parked not far away, standing by the rear seat and waving in their direction.

The counselor politely returned a smile and then looked at An Yin, "Don’t keep them waiting."

An Yin nodded awkwardly, "Teacher, then I’ll go first."

"Mm." The counselor gestured to a direction not far away.

Following the direction pointed out, An Yin took two or three steps and gradually saw the face clearly, her eyes widening.

It was him!

She had t him before at the hospital when Bao Shaojin was hospitalized and had even called him Uncle Liu.

An Yin timidly approached Liu’s car, "Liu, Liu Uncle."

The young girl addressed him rather formally.

Housekeeper Liu, hearing the young girl’s address, showed a kind smile on his stern face, "Miss An!"

Hearing the formality of his address, An Yin’s porcelain-white face showed a hint of panic.

"Uncle Liu, please don’t be formal, just call An Yin."

Housekeeper Liu pressed his lips and did not answer this, "Miss An, please get in the car!" he said and proactively opened the rear car door.

It should be noted, Housekeeper Liu was soone by the old lady Bao’s side, and there weren’t many he would voluntarily open the car door for.

An Yin hesitated for a mont before stepping into the car, "Thank you!"

Once inside, An Yin noticed soone she didn’t recognize at the driver’s seat.

Very soon, Housekeeper Liu returned to the front passenger seat, and after closing the door, the car smoothly drove away from T University.

The car’s windows were heavily tinted, making it impossible for passing students to see inside.

An Yin sat nervously, her hands continuously twisting the hem of her clothes, her eyes on the front passenger seat, appearing as if she wanted to speak but refrained.

Housekeeper Liu observed the young girl from the rearview mirror. Considering what she would soon face, a hint of complex emotion flashed across his face.

The Bao Family had many infatuated young n, but none of them had found their happy ending yet.

Housekeeper Liu couldn’t bear the girl’s excessive panic, so he comforted her, "The old lady just wants to et you, nothing more."

Housekeeper Liu’s sudden voice startled An Yin, causing her whole body to tremble. She awkwardly glanced forward and saw that no one noticed, which relieved her.

Then, she cautiously spoke, "Uncle Liu, is it Bao Shaojin’s grandmother who wants to et ?"

She had already guessed, but she wanted to confirm.

"Yes."

When she heard his response, An Yin’s heart pounded loudly, unable to calm down for a long ti. Her mind was in a chaotic ss at this mont.

She hadn’t forgotten that it was also the grandmother of Bao Cheng, who previously wanted to et "Bao Cheng’s girlfriend," but for so unknown reason, that matter just faded away.

An Yin’s face felt suddenly cold, and her mood was particularly solemn, realizing she still couldn’t escape it.

She even didn’t know why the old lady wanted to et her. Thoughts quickly turned to Bao Cheng’s imminent engagent...

Could it be that the old lady called her over to give her a warning? To leave Bao Cheng? An Yin turned her head to look at the blurred scenery outside the car window, her face heavy with a lost in thought expression.

Housekeeper Liu saw the girl’s face droop, with anxiety written all over it, and he slowly pulled out a mobile phone from his pocket.

He was accustod to using an old-fashioned phone, and after pressing a key heavily, the small screen lit up.

With a few taps on the keypad, he successfully unlocked it.

He opened the contact list, staring dazedly at the familiar number inside, when the driver suddenly spoke, eyes on the road, "Uncle Liu, it’s better not to use a phone in the car. It’s bad for your eyes."

Housekeeper Liu’s expression instantly turned gloomy and cold. He snorted softly and eventually put the phone back in his pocket.
