In the past few days, An Yin has been considering the part-ti job.

Actually, she’s quite clear in her heart that Shen Jingrou might have recruited her out of good intentions, after all, she doesn’t really understand desserts, and even if she starts working, there’s still a lot to learn.

She wanted to find soone to discuss it with, but after going through her phone contacts, she couldn’t find anyone to confide in.

Keke is busy with her romance lately and doesn’t have ti for idle chat.

An Yin lay on the bed, tossing and turning.

"Ding..."

The phone placed beside her vibrated.

An Yin slowly reached for her phone and glanced at it, seeing an unread WeChat ssage.

She opened it.

Su Yifeng: [Junior, are you busy?]

Seeing these four words, An Yin was montarily dazed.

She rembered last ti when Su Yifeng asked if she was free on Sunday, and her perfunctory reply left her feeling a bit uneasy.

Su Yifeng always gave her a warm-hearted feeling, especially attentive during the ti when An’s mom was ill, sothing An Yin rembered well!

After so thought, An Yin began to type.

An Yin: [What’s up?]

Su Yifeng: [I heard there’s a fireworks display at Riverfront Park tonight, want to check it out together?]

An Yin: [Never heard of Riverfront Park.]

Su Yifeng: [Riverfront Park is one of the properties owned by the Bao Group. It’s sowhat famous because Bao Group hosts a fireworks extravaganza there every month, attracting attention while also boosting Bao’s reputation.]

An Yin looked at the long string of words Su Yifeng sent and felt a bit confused.

After all, these were not matters she should be concerned about.

But seeing the words "Bao Group" made An Yin think of Bao Cheng’s cousin.

That man also has the surna Bao!

Perhaps noticing her delay in replying, Su Yifeng sent another ssage.

Su Yifeng: [Are you going? I heard the fireworks are beautiful.]

To be honest, An Yin was indeed tempted.

As a child, she often saw other kids playing with sparklers downstairs, waving them around. In an instant, the dazzling starlight crackled in the surroundings, illuminating the street. At that mont, standing by the windowsill, all she felt was envy.

An Yin: [Okay.]

Su Yifeng: [See you at the school gate at 7:30 then?]

An Yin: [Alright.]

Su Yifeng: [See you there!]

An Yin withdrew her gaze, just about to put down her phone when another ssage popped up.

.: [1000]

The sender didn’t even have a na, just a period. An Yin couldn’t rember who it was at the mont, so she quickly typed a few words.

An Yin: [????]

.: [1000]

Another string of numbers, and An Yin’s patience was running thin.

An Yin: [Who are you? And what does 1000 an?]

.: [There’s a stain from your period on my car seat.]

Bang...

An Yin felt like she was struck by lightning.

An Yin: [Are you that little dog?]

She stared at the little dog in his WeChat avatar, suddenly realizing, it was him... Bao Cheng’s cousin.

Wait...

What did she just say?

An Yin stared at the line of text she had just typed, her hand trembling. She had typed out her thoughts and even sent it.

She didn’t dare to breathe, shakily clicked on the ssage, and pressed recall.

Phew...

The ssage was finally recalled.

A second passed...

A minute passed...

Five minutes passed...

The man didn’t send any ssages, so had he seen it? Or not?

An Yin didn’t notice her face, usually pale, was now even more bloodless.

An Yin kept reassuring herself in her mind that he must not have seen it...

Didn’t see it...

An Yin retyped a ssage.

An Yin: [Does cleaning the seat cost a thousand?]

.: [Yes.]

Seeing the man’s sudden reply, An Yin’s heart tightened.

From his words, there was no trace of anger, perhaps he really didn’t see the ssage she recalled. After a ntal struggle, An Yin felt a lot calr and more relaxed chatting with him.

An Yin: [Has it been cleaned already?]

Thinking about a thousand yuan cleaning fee for the seat made An Yin quite sullen.

In hindsight, she should have earned that money herself. Isn’t it just cleaning a few seats? How hard could it be?

.: [What, do you want to clean it?]

An Yin: [Can I? I’ll clean it.]

Upon seeing the words from the other party, An Yin perked up. If it hadn’t been cleaned yet, there might still be a chance to resolve it by cleaning it herself!

An Yin waited three seconds, and the other party hadn’t replied.

Just when she thought he must be busy, his ssage unexpectedly ca through.

.: [I’ll pick you up tomorrow.]

An Yin stared blankly at the few words, taking a while to react.

An Yin: [Okay, see you tomorrow.]

Because of the thousand yuan compensation, she tossed her fear of this man aside.

In her simple mind, she even felt like she had gained sothing.

Next, she stood up and went straight to the bathroom to tie her hair into a ponytail.

Thinking about how it might be cold outside in the evening, An Yin ca to her wardrobe. As she was reaching for her coat, her hand froze.

Her gaze was attracted by the long coat.

This coat was a gift from that man.

An Yin’s hand bypassed the coat from the man, picking her own white knitted jacket, she put it on, closed the wardrobe door, and grabbed a small backpack from her desk before heading out.

At the school gate.

When An Yin arrived, she saw Su Yifeng standing against the wall.

He was tall, handso, and dashing, with a pair of tranquil eyes that exuded an undeniable intelligence yet not lacking in gentleness.

Just as An Yin spotted him, Su Yifeng’s gaze also fell on her.

His eyes were filled with deep affection, watching her co closer and closer, while his heart beat faster and faster!

Staring into her hauntingly beautiful eyes, Su Yifeng suppressed the inexpressible feelings, reminding himself repeatedly: it wasn’t the right ti! He couldn’t scare her!

"You’re here." Su Yifeng walked over with quick steps to stand in front of An Yin.

"Yeah, have you waited long?" An Yin asked, looking up.

"I just got here." Su Yifeng smiled, pressing his lips together.

Actually, as soon as she agreed to the date, he hurried over to the school gate.

Hearing his words, An Yin finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Just chatting with Bao Cheng’s cousin delayed her a bit.

Luckily, Su Yifeng had just arrived too!

"Shall we take the bus?" An Yin asked.

"Let’s take a cab," Su Yifeng noticed the hesitant look on her face and explained, "At this ti of day, it’s peak crowd ti, and we probably won’t make it if we take the bus."

"Alright, whatever you say." An Yin nodded.

"Let’s go." Su Yifeng started walking towards the road, and An Yin followed behind him.

A car was already parked by the roadside, and Su Yifeng walked over and directly opened the backseat door, "You get in first!"
