"Get out!" Jiang Keke’s voice rose again.

An Yin looked at the other person in astonishnt. As she t Jiang Keke’s cold eyes, An Yin bit her lip lightly and murmured, "Then I’ll be going first." After she finished speaking, noticing Jiang Keke’s lack of intention to keep her, An Yin slowly turned around and walked towards the door.

At the sa ti, tears uncontrollably stread down.

An Yin, since childhood, had been an extrely sensitive girl. Without a father growing up, her peers often mocked her. Later, when she started school, the situation worsened. Not only did people laugh at her for not having a father, but also because of her delicate beauty that attracted many boys, leading all the girls in her class to dislike her. Gradually, her personality beca timid.

Until she went to college and t Jiang Keke. Jiang was lively and cheerful, always wearing a sweet smile. Being with her, An Yin gradually beca infected by her optimistic attitude toward life, and she finally had her first true friend in life.

Just now, upon hearing Jiang Keke’s resolute words, An Yin only felt the world spinning, her mind blank. In the end, she comforted herself: Keke was agitated and in a bad mood. She shouldn’t take Keke’s words said in anger seriously!

On the way back to school, An Yin’s forehead was furrowed, making her whole deanor seem quite dispirited!

She had taken the afternoon off and didn’t feel like attending classes, just wanting to stay at school.

After getting off the bus and arriving at the station, her phone rang.

Listlessly, An Yin picked up her phone, and upon seeing the na displayed on the screen, she answered in a soft voice, "Jingrou姐姐!"

Her voice was delicate, with a hint of grievance hidden within.

Shen Jingrou was quite skilled at reading between the lines and instantly detected sothing wrong in the other’s tone. "Haven’t had class yet, right?" Shen Jingrou deliberately called An Yin during lunch to avoid disturbing her class.

"I took the afternoon off." An Yin spoke sluggishly.

"Why? Are you sick?" Shen Jingrou asked anxiously.

"No," An Yin hastily denied, "My friend is in the hospital, so I took a leave to see her. I’m back at school now."

"Oh." Shen Jingrou pondered for a mont, "Do you have classes this afternoon?"

"No," An Yin didn’t have the heart for classes.

"Perfect, let’s go out and stroll around!" Shen Jingrou eagerly suggested.

Standing at the bus stop sign, An Yin’s brow furrowed slightly. The words of Jiang Keke earlier continued to linger in her heart, making her feel uneasy.

From the other end, Shen Jingrou pretended to be forlorn when An Yin didn’t reply, "Just keep company, it’s so boring to shop alone!"

The young girl seed in a bad mood, so Shen Jingrou wanted to invite her out to cheer her up!

"Okay!"

An Yin, with a soft heart, imdiately agreed to Shen Jingrou’s request after hearing her pleading tone.

"I’ll co to pick you up," Shen Jingrou said without hesitation.

"Jingrou姐姐, I’ll co over instead." An Yin responded with urgency upon hearing Shen Jingrou’s words.

An Yin recalled the rumors she had heard earlier, about how there was always a luxury car picking her up. In hindsight, it wasn’t entirely baseless.

Maybe, when Bao Shaojin had previously dropped her back at school, soone had seen it. Although she had been careful, nothing was ever certain.

"Alright, I’ll send you the location." Shen Jingrou wasn’t insistent, probably having guessed the young girl’s thoughts.

After hanging up the phone, Shen Jingrou sent a WeChat ssage to An Yin.

An Yin opened it, paused her gaze upon seeing the familiar location na.

"Jianjia Alley."

Was Jingrou姐姐 going to take her to stroll on that street? Although An Yin had been there a few tis before, every ti she saw the words "Jianjia Alley," her heart felt quite stirred, as if the place had a kind of magic that attracted her to go there.

An Yin squeezed back onto the bus. Without a seat, she stood at the rear, gripping the handrail tightly.

Most of the people on the bus were students from T University.

As she turned her head towards the bus window, An Yin gazed dully at the scenery flashing by.

At this mont, murmurs from the back seat reached An Yin’s ears.

"Have you heard? Senior Su went abroad."

"He’s healing overseas, you know!"

"Healing from what?"

"Obviously, a broken heart."

The two girls lowered their voices, yet the people around still heard every word.

"Our school belle really has high standards. She doesn’t even consider Senior Su. Truly aiming high, let’s see what kind of boyfriend she finds in the future." One girl expressed indignation on behalf of Su Yifeng.

The girl next to her quietly patted her friend’s shoulder and whispered, "Let’s lower our voices, the school belle is standing right in front of us."

The girl lifted her head, "..."

The surrounding people, "..."

An Yin dared not even breathe loudly, pretending she hadn’t heard anything. The atmosphere in the air turned awkward in an instant, luckily the bus was occasionally announcing the upcoming stops, alleviating much of the awkwardness for everyone.

Upon reaching the stop agreed upon with Shen Jingrou, An Yin was nearly the first to rush off the bus, quickly walking a stretch on the sidewalk before she slowed her pace only after feeling breathless.

A thin layer of sweat faintly appeared on her fair face. An Yin reached out to wipe it off, arriving at a zebra crossing, and crossed when the light turned green.

Around fifty ters ahead was "Jianjia Alley."

From a distance, she could see the majestic archway with the large words "Jianjia Alley" inscribed on it.

An Yin looked up, staring intently at those words.

"These words are beautifully written, aren’t they!"

Lost in her thoughts, An Yin heard Shen Jingrou’s voice. She turned her head to see Shen Jingrou standing not far away, eyes smiling at her.

"Jingrou姐姐!" An Yin said softly, "These words are indeed beautiful!"

"Hehe, my Uncle ng wrote them." Shen Jingrou walked forward, taking An Yin’s arm, and they started walking towards the depths of the alley together.

Hearing the ntion of "Uncle ng" again, An Yin could feel her heart begin to stir. Even though "Uncle ng" was a stranger to her, hearing information about him always made An Yin’s innermost self want to find out more about this "Uncle ng."

"He’s amazing!" An Yin sincerely praised.

"Of course, he’s not only good at calligraphy, but his paintings are also exceptional." Shen Jingrou didn’t skimp on her praise, the admiration in her eyes was very obvious, showing that he was soone she deeply respected.

An Yin’s eyes sparkled with a hint of curiosity, "Is he a calligrapher?"

"He’s a businessman," Shen Jingrou smiled softly.

It’s no wonder An Yin would think so, who would have thought that soone involved in literary and artistic pursuits was actually in business, and a very successful businessman at that!

"Huh?" An Yin exclaid in surprise.

"He really is a genuine businessman," Shen Jingrou said earnestly.

An Yin recalled seeing the profile of a man through a door crack last ti, she always felt like she had seen this man sowhere before, but whenever she tried to recall, her mind went blank.
